Title: Beware of Deceptive Andy at TheLennox in Accra
Title: Beware of Deceptive Andy at TheLennox in Accra
I booked a room at TheLennox in Accra through Booking.com, which was confirmed via email and also over the phone by a person named Andy. However, my experience with Andy quickly revealed him to be a dishonest individual.
Moments after arriving at the hotel, I presented my active booking confirmation to Andy, only to find out that he had sold the room to another guest through Airbnb. Despite providing concrete evidence of my prior reservation, Andy callously claimed that the other guest had paid, and therefore, he had given the room to them instead. This behavior is nothing short of deceitful and impudent.
To make matters worse, Andy also attempted to upsell me to a room that was double the price of my original reservation. It is evident that he was trying to coerce me into paying more for accommodation. This kind of manipulative behavior is unacceptable and further underscores his untrustworthiness.
I want to emphasize the unscrupulous role that Andy played in this situation. He knowingly confirmed my reservation, then tried to push me into a more expensive room while giving away my original booking to someone else for his own gain. It's clear that he is not to be trusted.
I write this review as a deeply disappointed customer to warn others about the risk of encountering someone like Andy at TheLennox. Such unethical and dishonest behavior should not be tolerated in the hospitality industry. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment, as you may also fall victim to Andy's fraudulent actions.
Never again.

Excellent holiday in Accra, i wish i had travelled sooner in my life and stayed longer than my 2 weeks vacation.
This is an amazing Country at times it emotional and sad :( but we learnt so much more of the history.
we enjoyed everything we did, from sopping on Oxford Street in Osu, to the hustle and bustle of Makola market, the visits to National Museum of Ghana, Elmina Castle, Cape Coast Castle, most of the Forts, Botanical gardens, eating at the local restaurants, we visited too many places to mention
Just everything about this trip was nice.

Accra is a well planned out city.
Accra is a well planned out city. On arrival at the airport, a sense of neatness and cleanliness greets you and the people are homely too. The food is great. Waakye and kente were as local as it can be and i loved every bit of them. I did have time to visit tourist sites but there are tourist cars made for such purposes. Accra is a sure countey to visit once again for me.

I didnt know Ghana was this beautiful.
I didnt know Ghana was this beautiful. Accra is a blend of cultures and has so many spots to have fun, i enjoyed going to lounges and restaurant in osu , ill suggest mood bar, 805 restaurant, sandbox and visited the independence square, the kwame nkrumah museum as well. however it was a long drive to kakum national forest for the canopy walk and the Elmina castle in cape coast. ill recommend you hold mosquito repellents for outdoor trips.
its easy to get around using google maps and cab hailing services if you dont have a car.
overall the Ghanaians are peaceful fun loving people .
i love Ghana and will visit again
The ambiance and vibe of the hotel IMO exceeded that of any other place I've stayed in Ghana. The pool and outside courtyard area ia ao nice and serene. The area is very walkable and has an amazing Tea Buffet nearby thats a must tty for food and/or drinks. There's security around 24/7 and the girls at the front desk are very polite and helpful. Our breakfast was plentiful and delicious and even as I was wiriting this the gentleman called to let us know breakfast was ready! Can't wait to come and stay again
Location was near the beach and a major mall - all within walking distance. The room allocated was spacious with a great bed and very airy. The aircon and ceiling fan worked very well. Access to the kitchen and the lounge was a bonus, as I was able to use the facilities like kettles and fridge. I enjoyed talking to the host about main topics, including the positive and negative aspects about Ghana. I enjoyed the small interaction with the family and it was lovely to feel like I was in my own home.
Staff was super friendly and very helpful in guiding me and helping me get things I needed but didn't know where to get cause I'm not a local. Room was big and bathroom was big too. The view from our window was really nice, and AC worked well. Room was clean. Mind you, hotels on Accra are not cheap, so this one was good value for money, but by no means luxurious or anything. The location is good if you want to go to bars and restaurants in Osu.
The staff was very professional, courteous and hospitable. The location is excellent, close to almost every main area in town and some of the surrounding communities. The breakfast was delicious, only thing is that they need to serve cereal with cold or room temperature milk. Or ask the customer what they prefer. Front desk staff are a cut above the rest. This is my 3rd visit to Ghana and by far, Mahogany Lodge is my number 1!!!
They have everything a traveler needs in this hotel. Business center, coffee shop, restaurant, salon and spa, convenience store, art gallery and even Forex exchange and ATMs in the lobby. Central location and transport on demand makes this a near perfect hotel to use as a base camp while in Accra. Also 24/7 room service, modern well equipped gym, tennis courts and option to rent home style villas is a win.
The room had one cup, one towel, one toilet roll yet we booked for two people. Same everywhere in Ghana. It is the culture to provide for one when two book. Why? Breakfast and evening meal were very good with plenty of choice. Chef was very helpful. Reception staff were good but cannot understand poor quality room. Our bedroom window opened onto a half completed en-suite for another room!!
The best apartment I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality room and high quality service.
I have stayed at dozen of apartments in Accra. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.
The location is amazing, overlooking the oceon. Its the perfect plave to get away from Busy Accra.
The only thing you hear are the waves of the ocean and occasional partys when they are held.
The staff is evr so friendly, it feels more as a family and the food by cook Sarfiana is the best I have tastes in Ghana!
Try the contomery sauce with yam :)
The Accra Luxury Apartments were perfect for our family of 6 adults. We had 3 rooms. All were comfortable, clean, and air conditioned. The location was great, near the airport and the Accra Mall. Excellent rates, too. Everything was great. The Baa and Bean coffee shop on the ground floor was excellent, too.
I loved the yam fries and egg sauce, Ghana jollof and grilled chicken. The Okro was also nice.
I appreciated how the staff were quick to resolve issues. Especially the lady who cleaned the room, she could also fix the TV when it wasn't working. That was my highlight!
Excellent staff, serene environment, and fantastic neighbors. The facility manager was always on hand to provide timely support, and the owner was always just a chat away if needed. The best location in Ghana for me, and I will be expecting my stay at this property.
Location was great. Close proximity to airports and many restaurants. I liked that the building was quiet. I have had experiences with noisy neighbors in other apartments i stayed in here in Ghana.
Flat was tastefully furnished and i love the rooftop pool.
No words can explain how I felt during my stay. It was fantastic. Everything was on point. Great location, just 5mins drive from the airport. Beautiful apartment, their restaurant omg I had the best coffee so far in Ghana. I will surely be back. Thanks guys
There was a problem at checkin, they gave me a room that had people already in it, and then they gave me a room that smelled of mold, but the third room was finally okay. Breakfast is a typical African style. The hotel is continently close to the airport.
Amazing facilities and the owner was brilliant at providing recommendations for me and my friends. Felt very safe and welcome. Best shower I had on my month long visit to ghana. Would highly recommend.
Lovely staff, peaceful spot, great vibe! We stayed for the first few nights of a longer trip in Ghana and it was the perfect spot to get over our jetlag and get our bearings. Thanks!
The Labadi Beach was a perfect place to call home in Ghana. We did a lot of touring and every evening it felt great to come home to Labadi Beach Hotel.
