Good,
Score from 87 reviews
“ All staff inclusive were very helpful, some of the food prices were a bit pricey, but that didn't deter us from enjoying our stay, we had friends staying in other hotels and listening to some of their stories the O'Callaghan Elliot was the far better hotel, we would definately stay their again. ”

This hotel is located in the centre of all that is happening in Gibraltar. The associated parking is a significant plus for this accommodation. The hotel has everything a short term visitor would require to make this stay easy. The roof top restaurant and pool/solarium terrace was fabulous and again made our stay more relaxing. As with most of the hotels in Gibraltar the accommodation is in places a little bit tired; although the Elliott is definitely better than others I've visited.

Room was very comfortable and felt luxurious, nice big shower staff were very friendly and helpful. ultra convenient location if you want to explore Gib. would recommend, but with reservation On arrival I passed a workman in the hallway to my room fixing something, making some noise. The next morning I was woken very early in the morning by continual banging, that went on for a few hours. I did contact reception, but nothing was done. Room was very small in relationship to the price of the hotel. On my second night I had a party of people being excessively noisy for several hours, I phoned reception several times and though they did go up to the room a couple of times I had to basically grin and bare it, did not get to sleep until 4am due to this, when I had gone to bed by midnight. There were no apologies, nothing from the hotel. I had stayed at this hotel to give myself a treat at the end of my trip, but found the noise issues ruined it completely, which wasn't helped by the walls and ceilings not being noise insulated, paper thin in fact.

The drilling first thing in the morning, the rooms get so hot and if you turn on the AC the noise it makes is awful so you might as well stay up all night!

The hotel was in a terrific location for shopping being only a 5 min walk to the centre and also good for local sights. Good sized bedroom with tea and coffee making facilities and good breakfast although I did think a little pricey Expensive internet and tv was not working, although we were told this would be fixed soon, so only a short term problem

Location in Gibralatar - I travel there fairly frequently on business and the hotel is well located for that purpose Hotel is generally good but is becoming tired in its decor and condition. Minor issues like extractor fan in bathrom did not work (not a disaster but a minor point) also bathroom door from main bedroom had a very loud creak when opening and closing - noise coming from the hinges. That could have disturbed other guests in neighbouring rooms.

1. Excellent Lift. Good size and fast. 2. Room extremely comfortable. 3. Excellent bed. 4. Toilet and sink spotless. 5. Curtains lovely. 6. Bedlinen and towels clean and good. 7. The cleaning staff that we encountered were extremely helpful and polite. 8. We enjoyed the convenience of staying in the centre of Gibraltar. 1. Maintenance required in the Bathroom. The outside corners of the shower doors need regrouting, and looked dirty. Also the soup dish in the shower was looking slightly rusty. 2. Television was not working when we arrived and when it reconnected we discovered there was no free view service at all. With that price room we did not expect to pay for basic news channels. 3. Car park facility too pricey. 4. Expected to find a fridge in the room. 5. Reception. On arrival, the reception lady, seemed to struggle with the basic concept of booking in clientele. She was not very professional and not very friendly. 6. Breakfast prices too high. We did not eat in the hotel at all due to the prices. 7. Hand print on wall on right hand side of bed. 8. It is a shame just a few finer points, that are easily corrected, spoilt our whole experience.

The central location was excellent and the room was comfortable with a good view from the fifth floor. Their approach to the internet. High costs and as I had two devices I had to buy twice so in effect the cost doubled. Breakfast was not as good as it could have been very little fresh fruit and the toaster was not effective.

Close proximity to the main centre Initially located in a room on the first floor that was directly over the main ground floor toilets. As there was a large party in the Hotel, who drank until the early hours, the continual banging of the toilet doors and their loud noise kept us awake until about 3 in the morning. The Hotel thankfully were able to move us to a higher floor on the following day but we missed out on the Queen Room that we had booked and made do with the standard double room. But better quiet than spacious.

The location and the availability of a parking space are good and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast selection was limited and the cost of internet connection is too high for present times and hotel price range.

Excellent location along with beng a very comfortable hotel. Great roof top terrace. My own slight niggle would be that there is not enough help on front desk, just one person which is fine if not busy but all yu need is 2-3 people waiting to ask a question or do something and it takes ages.

Well located for the main town Hotel is quite dated. Staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. We were unprepared to pay the excessive £20+ charge per 24 hours for Internet access.

Close to Main Street for shopping , also easy access to sightseeing on Gibraltar. Nothing to dislike although it can get noisy around Christmas time when office parties are held there.
