We were a little disappointed in our room. We stayed here before last year, and had a larger room, with a full balcony, and lovely colonial style decor. This time, I think we were in a renovated section, with the decor of any standard business style hotel (and I see plenty of those!). Only one person could fit on the balcony at a time. Also a few things weren't working: the bathroom door didn't close properly, the shower leaked (which we asked to be fixed, but it leaked in a different place after) and the toilet flush didn't work (but was fixed immediately).
Breakfast is not bad, could do with more bread/wheat free options.. the coffee served at breakfast is pretty terrible, and changing the coffee would substantially improve the breakfast experience!
This hotel is in a fantastic location and setting, on the cliff, looking over the Sea, next to a small beach (with a few cafes, restaurants). The staff are extremely friendly, gracious and helpful (bar one pool bar staffer who was more focused on her mobile phone than serving guests), and bar/lounge, bistro and restaurant provide a great range of areas to drink/eat/relax.
