Icefiord Apartments

Comfortable appartment, clean, well-equiped and with a good location in the centre and near all the shops, the tour operators (dog sledge, hiking, sailing among icebergs, ...) and the harbour. Quiet street and good price (good value for money).

The staff of Hotel Icefiord which manages the appartment is totally unexperimenced and was a pity. When we arrived for check in, they have asked us what we were doing there (great welcome...) and they gave us no information about the shuttle expected at the check out (to go back to the airport), services available for us at the hotel (internet, bar, breakfast, etc.), etc. Another big problem was that we stayed there 10 nights and nobody came to clean the appartment. So we kept the same towels and bed linen (dirty after 10 days...) during all our stay. We asked the reception to clean the appartment at the middle of our stay, they promised to come the day after but never did... There was there a totally unfriendly receptionist who was completely closed with all the customers of the hotel. Last thing : be carefull if you want to pay by credit card, they will take very important charges...

Nice location near the center of town and also close to nature. There's a little tea kitchen in the apartments and shopping possibilities are close by both for groceries, souvenirs and tourist information. Also close to cafe's and restaurants. Nice and clean apartment with sheets and towels.

The staff is not located at the apartments to check in and talk to staff you must go to the Icefjord hotel, it's a long walk but can be reached by cab. If you choose breakfast included you must also go to the hotel, so I recommend buying breakfast yourself to eat at the apartment. Staff at the hotel however are very nice and helpfull, and pick up can be arranged.

The apartments are well sized, very warm, right in a heart of the city, few minutes walk from shops, restaurants, tourist agencies and sites. Kitchen is well equipped, hot water availble. We had window view on the port and bay with icebesrg. We felt at home and comfortable!

Very comfortable solution. Enjoyed my stay very well. The equipment available was more that expected and the location central.

The room doors are looked in an unfamiliar way. The hotel reception should inform customer about the door locking when giving the key, because once you are in the appartment the hotel reception is far away and you cannot ask for help. I needed to ask a passer-by person to borrow his phone in order to call the reception and ask how to lock my door. Foretunately Greenlanders are most kind to tourists and there was no problem to borrow a phone once I dared to ask the person passing by. Thanks for asking :)

Vi var på jeres rest på hotellet og det var virkelig godt! Ilulissat er dyr at bo i, så Ice app er en rigtig god billig mulighed.

Fed beliggenhed, super søde mennesker, bestemt værdi for pengene.

Indgangen fra mit værelset 13F(udenfor) er for glat p.g.a. is og frossen sne - Kan blive meget farligt !

At det var en lejlighed, så man selv kunne lave lidt mad, og ikke var afhængig af tidspunkter for bespisning.

Det ville have været dejligt med en støvsugning en gang på 14 dage.

Läget för den som inte själv hade transport i Ilulissat. Bra att hotellet hade fri taxi-service. Välordnat med möblering, sängar, och utrustning.

Hade gärna önskat lite mer information om områdets möjligheter, den personal jag mötte var inte helt kunniga om t ex vandringar och utflykter. Dock var närheten till World of Greenland ett plus.

Pris og beliggenhed var perfekt, da Icefiord Apartments lå på en sidegade til Ilulissats hovedgade.

Hotellet glemte at hente mig, da jeg klokken 5:30 om morgenen skulle køres til lufthavnen, og hotellets reception var ikke åbnet endnu.

meget centralt beliggende og min lejlighed J var med udsigt, hvilket er meget vigtigt for en grønlandsfarende.
