where we stayed it was a very quiet resort hardly nothing...
where we stayed it was a very quiet resort hardly nothing there except a few beach bars but the hotel was good white horse residence. The nearest big place was tanji, were there is a fish market everyday you can smell it before you get there.but it is well worth the visit.you can get local buses which charge about 7 dalasi about 15 pence they try to get as many people in as they can.or you can get local taxis but be careful some liecensed some not,we didnt realy go any where ,but went over to bara island and albert market for the day,you will get local people asking you if you want to go anywhere dont be afraid ,because i was a bit iffy at first but they will look after you take you places ,just give them a tip and they will be happy, all the gambian people are happy but it is a very poor country.we would definately go back.
