A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located by the Temple of Olympion Zeus. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.

Awesome Acropolis view
Everything is perfect in this hotel
The Acropolis view at night was fantastic. So is the breakfast enjoying this view
Just 20m from the hotel, some guys were playing the drums expressing themselves and asking for money (obviously) ALL DAY LONG, making it very hard to sleep and relax even after using earplugs. Luckily they stopped at night. We were told that this was happening quite often with the hotel management trying to stop it but without much success.
Helpful, friendly staff. Room was amazing, great view. Bar at the top especially so. All round excellent experience
There was nothing to complain about
Great breakfast, good room, friendly staff who helped me when I had problems with my wifi -- and bang in the middle of things so you can't get a better location.
the amazing view, beautiful room with minimal and contemporary furniture, nice breakfast
Excellent location, great breakfast area on the top floor with an impressive view over Monastiraki square and Acropolis. In the same spot, after the breakfast is finished, the bar open to public opens. Very popular spot for drinks during the night among locals and tourists.
Since it is located on the main square, it can be very noisy during the day and during the night, especially if your room is on lower floors. The enterance from the street to the hotel and to the roof top bar is the same, but different elevators. It was kind of annoying that most of the time i had to explain myself that i am a guest of the hotel so i can use the elevator for the guests only.
Wonderful location for tourists
Breakfast could be better Small room Noisy in bedroom (5th floor) due to popular rooftop bar on 6th floor, open till 3am so ok if you go to bed after this
This hotel manages to convey warm, welcoming feelings unlike many other -oftentimes more luxurious- "non-places". You take your breakfast in a terrace with magnificent views, which also operates as a -quite successful- bar. So guests can mingle with the locals while having a drink in the evening.
A bit of road noise, despite the double glass windows (third floor).
The view from the breakfast room And the very friendly staff
The very noisy sqr and Metro station near by
Hotel Location is very central and right next to subway, Room interior is good, breakfast just perfect and with you to Acropolis. Very friendly Staff.
Room no 17, good in side but windows are looking at very ugly abandoned building which is 5m over small street from hotel.
Window didn't close correct, thus very noisy from street.
Excellent hotel in central position, very close to the historical sites. Very large room and bathroom, very good shower. Excellent breakfast on the top floor, with wonderful view of Acropolis.
A very small lift to the rooms
Noisy location, I could hear everything that happened both in the street and in the hallway.
we had a small problem about hotel when we arrived but it was completely solved by a kind receptionist vaios:) location is fantastic you can reach everywhere by 5 min walk easily.
the bar at the roof top was so crowded and noisy.
Location Rooftop bar Breakfast Staff
Central location. Modern decor Breakfast location on rooftop
Noisey due to location really small lifts
Centrally located in Athens, most sights and good restaurants are within walking distance. Stunning views from the room.
Breakfast offers an extensive selection but is of low quality. Watery juice, bad coffee. Better breakfast available in cafes nearby. Room was very loud due to old windows not being sound proof. No chance to sleep.
Everyuthing from the room space, cleanliness, comfort decor and colors to the location on the Monasteraki square, to the courteous, knowledgeable and helpful attitude of the staff especially, Vangelis, Helena and Vaios and the ladies hosting us for brekfast; we felt at home! The breakfast was also very fresh and good . We couldn't ask for more!
Wifi reach to 3rd floor was very poor.
Lovely rooms, lovely location, lovely view, lovely breakfast, located in Monastiraki square with sybway right in front. I was really impressed by the kindness of the people staff. strongly recommended for a pleasant stay in Athens
Great facilities, staff and location with a cool rooftop bar!
Even being on the 4th floor you could hear the noise from the road outside.
Steps away from the subway station. In the very centre of Athens. Great view. Very comfortable room. Great view from the 6th floor for breakfast. Very welcoming folks at reception. No problem with a 1pm checkout.
I stayed on a Saturday night - the African drums in Monastiraki Sq started at 6pm and finished at 1am. It is an incessant noise. Do not expect to sleep until the drums have ceased for the night. Plenty of variety at breakfast but even eating early the hot food was cold. And the coffee - unpleasant instant. And something stronger was needed. Checking out took longer than it should as answering a phone call was more important than checking out a paying guest. I think he realized that this was wrong but it left a poor impression.
Incredible view of the Acropolis from the room. A whole wall of window! Such helpful staff. Really comfy bed. Modern, clean bathroom. Definitely a 4* room, but Monastiraki at night is a bit lively and it is right below you. Its fun, but perhaps not a place to relax in on the weekend. Having cocktails on the roof terrace which was still open in November was pretty memorable. The district was covered in graffiti but walk round the corner and there was lots to see and do. Very good location for the monuments and eating out.
It was like being in the heart of Picadilly on the weekend. Buskers, drummers. A bit noisy. Luckily it started raining and they all scarpered! Still worth staying there because the quality of the hotel room was so good.
Great location (close to everything), good staff, amazing rooftop bar, breakfast view was wonderful.
A little loud as it's right in town center, but ear plugs worked great.
The best view in Athens from rooms facing the square: not just my opinion but something featured in the airline magazine on the flight back! Nicely modernized and well maintained in a great location; a high standard of comfort. Breakfast was good.
My room and balcony were right under the roof terrace restaurant. While noise from the square dies down at night, on arrival I wasn't warned that a disco party would be right over my head till 3:30 the first night. Wifi strength was fine but the system constantly kicked me out, requiring me to log back on.
