Achillion Palace  

Excellent buffet breakfast, big variety, with small outdoor section. Very clean room and seaview as requested on upper floor. Very short walk to beautiful, cultural old town. One desk clerk very helpful, informative, and willing to chat about various matters. Charming lobby, old style. Mini market, bakery steps away. Walk to beach short. Wide and sandy with umbrellas and chairs for a fee. Good buy for money as we got an advertised lower rate. Found street parking, no need to pay for lot.

On arrival, abrupt desk clerk, not welcoming. Pictures of exterior and room make hotel look more attractive than reality. Street seedy. Balcony overlooked apartments across the street with their balconies featuring everything from baby's beds to storage items, but view of sea over topof buildings was requested and appreciated. Dark interior of hotel, quite uncomfortable beds, non conducive room to romance. Beware in summer, north coast beach with high waves...can't swim but had great fun jumping waves, trying to keep balance.If we visit Rethymnon again, wife would not stay same hotel.

Stay away!!!! Absolutely fake!!! This is not a 4 stars hotel!!!

A nice hotel with very good location. It is located at the entrance of Rethymno's old town and is also a 2 min walk from the beach. Taxi center, bank and 24 hours open restaurant is next door. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was good and the rooms were cleaned every day. Fridge, hairdryer, tv and air conditioning in the room. We were lucky and got a room on the 5th floor with a sea view. We did not use the pool but it looked fine. Poor parking facilities, it is recommended to park at the harbor (about 10 euros per day). We would like to stay at Achilleon Palace again.

Good breakfast, comfortable beds and good internet.

Interiory a bit old. Smell of mould in the room. Only one small elevator which didn´t work all the time.

αγενής και καθόλου εξυπηρεική η νεαρή υπάλληλος του πρωινού η καθαριότητα ελλειπής το νερό στο ντους δεν ειχε πιεση το μπανιο δεν ηταν ανακιανισμένο οπως το υπολοιπο ξενοδοχειο, παρόλο που λέει ότι είναι πρόσφατα ανακαινισμένο

Hotellet har en utmerket beliggenhet nær både by og strand. Fin hage til å innta frokost I. Veldig god frokost. Både basseng og bar på toppen med fin utsikt over havn, strand og by. Hyggelig, snill og tjenestevillig betjening. Gode senger. Altan til alle rom. Godt lys både på rom og altan. Hotellet holdes I fin og oppusset stand, hvitt og fint. Du blir behandlet på en måte som gjør at du føler deg hjemme der. Jeg kan ikke fullrose hotellet nok

De kan godt sette inn flere typer glass enn tannglassene. En vannkoker på rommet kunne også vært hyggelig.

Inget 4-stjärningt hotell, inget lyxhotell så som det bveskrivs I hotellinfo. Jätte dåligt frukost.

Respect de l'observation lors de la résevation , à savoir chambre à un étage élevé permettant d'avoir une terrasse avec vue sur le port et la mer . Par ailleurs je ne sais pas si c'est que nous séjournions pour la deuxième fois dans cet hôtel , mais le 2eme jour nous avions une bouteille de vin en guise de bienvenue sur la table de la chambre avec une carte de visite de la Direction après un cocktail de bienvenue la veille . Geste commercial et de reconnaissance appréciable .

Petit déjeuner toujours aussi copieux , servi sous forme de buffet , mais seulement une personne de service chaque matin pour s'occuper de réapprovisionner le buffet et desservir les tables . De ce fait les clients (très disciplinés) débarrassaient eux-mêmes leur table lorsque qu'ils avaient terminé !! Les tables restaient donc en l'état , c'est à dire non nettoyées et avec une nappe non remplacée et parfois tâchée suivant la propreté du précédent client . Etonnant pour un hôtel 4* !!!

È vicino al lungomare e al centro storico con tantissimi negozi per lo shopping.

È mancata l'acqua calda per diverse ore al nostro arrivo.

Hôtel de très bonne qualité avec un service impeccable; Le petit déjeuner est copieux. L'emplacement de l'hôtel permet de se déplacer dans la ville de Rethymnon sans avoir besoin de véhicule. Le personnel est bienveillant et la présence d'une piscine en haut de l'immeuble est un plus très agréable.
