The staff were pleasant and helpful. The proximity to the port of Piraeus was the key factor. The shower facilities were not good. Only just big enough for my husband to fit into. |

I did not like anything about this hotel. See next category. I did not like the way we were received, nor the room. Everything was broken:light in the bathroom, shower fitting, no soap dish. We must have had the noisiest room in the hotel. "We got what we paid for" [Actual statement by manager], and Piraeus is very, very noisy!. Due to flight delays we had only 5 hours to sleep, but we were not able to because of the noise. Perhaps the worst hotel I have ever stayed in - and that includes rural Africa and South-East Asia. Suggest you should delete it from your list. |

The helpful staff on arrival and departure. The ferry which we took in the morning was very near the hotel. The shower fitting was fell off the wall. |

Desk manned 24 hours, room clean & reasonably comfortable, not noisy. Very easy to get to, X96 from airport stopped just round the corner. |

Very near to Piraeus Port and direct bus link from airport. Cleanliness was not good and that was only a bedsheet provided as blanket instead of blanket or duvet. |

Great location. Close to Metro, Port, and bus station. Love the little parrot hanging in its cage outside. Bed a little uncomfortable. |

The proximity of the hotel to the Metro and the Ferries was great. The reception area was nicely redone and was pleasant to see, not sure what happened to the rooms! In our room (403) the shower was broken in a variety of different ways, making showers difficult and extremely irritating. Underneath the sheets of the bed was hundreds of body hairs from someone else that had been left behind. The toilette seat was broken and the refridgerator was not working and the power cord was freyed and open wires were twisted together as a result - major fire hazard. We unplugged it for our own safety. We informed the hotel staff of these problems and thought maybe we would get a discount based on these problems, however, that was not the case. |

Very basic and pretty old style. But very clean, staff is really supporting any request and the breakfast - included into the tariff - is very good, prepared by a kind lady that also serves it, very kind. |

It's located close to Pireus Port, so it is a good place to stay if you have an early ferry next morning The room was not cleaned - bed sheets were not changed after previous customer and bathroom was not cleaned either |

Perfect location in Piraeus if you have to catch early morning ferry, only 20 meters to bustop X96 (from airport) and to port of Pireaus. Very small single rooms, but ok standard and perfect location if you just arrived in Atens, need sm sleep and have to catch early morning ferry. |

Proximity to the port. helpful receptionist. Breakfast consisted of a stale bread roll, jam and juice, not quite continental! and a rip off at €5 pp!(where did the american reviewer get bacon, eggs and choice of cheese from?) |

Great location, easy access to the port. It's a 5 min walk and certainly beats taking the metro early in the morning to get an early ferry. We arrived in Athen close to midnight and were looking for a place to rest for the night. The bus from the airport (X96) dropped us off 5 min from the hotel. Very convenient. You get what you pay for as far as amenities go but in terms of convenience and value Acropole is great. Everything was clean, secure and functional. Breakfast is only served as of 7am. Which sucks as most people stay here in order to get the early ferry and depart the hotel at about 6:45am. A coffee and bite to eat would have been nice before we left. |

I liked that I could get a soft drink from the machine, at a reasonable price. The night manger took my passport, and unfortunately I forgot to ask for it when I checked out, so it is going to cost me 10 euro's to collect it from a courier. It should be standard practice to hand back a passport, when the bill is paid, but apart from that all was fine. |

The convenience of the location close to ferries and bus to airport. Greek breakfast with no tomato, olive or feta cheese is not really greak. It was just bread and butter. |

Friendly man on reception who was good about the fact that due to a flight delay I arrived one night later than booked. Also very near ferry departures. Rather scruffy--slightly odd smell in room but not too bad. |

Size of room and clocation nextb to a Metro stop. Outside the hotel, terribly dirty and many unsavoury street people. Would recommend another hotel near Syntagma Square, not Omomia. Also booked room with breakfast plan but food not provided. Had an early morning departure and was told a light breakfast would bo available in the bar. When we wen t down, everything was eaten by others and desk clerk could not help! |

Acropole Hotel was great after being on the ferry back from Santorini! Good hotel, easy to find even late at night. Very convenient to the port if you are getting the ferry. Breakfast could have had cereal. Everything else was great |
