Score from 1118 reviews Excellent
A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located by the Temple of Olympion Zeus. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.

This hotel has a prestigious location in the historic heart of Athens. It has 4-star facilities, excellent views of the Acropolis and Temple of Olympian Zeus, and fine cuisine.
Score from 847 reviews Excellent
I like the area, the overall style of the hotel, receptionists are mostly nice
Room esp. bathroom was not clean on arrival, room was small and not as new and well maintained as the rooms I had when I visited several times 4 years ago; Receptionist seemed offended when I asked to clean up the bathroom - no proactive follow-up on that issue.
Beds were great, personnel friendly and helpful, breakfast very good. Location perfect for the Acropolis en museum. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended.
The hotel looks new. Good breakfast. Great value for money you pay. Excellent location.
The rooms are a bit small.
I loved the location and the views from room 608 were amazing
Great location, near to Acropolis, helpfull staff, reasonable price for excellent stay
The roof terrace is very nice. The neighbouring houses are a dream. Near to the forest and a calm environment. I feel like at home, like a local.
I had always problems with the Wi-Fi but that can be also a malfunction of my phone. They could have slippers and ear cottons etc. What was missing. A bathrobe was missing too.
Location and Cleanliness.
There is no room service after 4 PM. The reception guy Harris tries his level best to swindle money. Instance#1: We were charged 120 euros for a return trip from cape sounion while the market rate was 70-80 euros Instance#2: He wanted to charge 42 euros for airport transfer while the fixed rate across Athens is 35 euros.
View, balcony, clean
The location is perfect for the Acropolis, Agora amd the Acropolis museum. Also walking distance to transit.
The rooms are a bit tight, but who stays in Athens to walk around your hotel room!
Near to Acropolis, but need a walk to get to the railway station. Room is very clean, the breakfast is good!
The view - we had one over the city and we're lucky to enjoy a fantastic storm with Thunder & lightening - amazingly beautiful! Clean, comfortable room. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming.
Bathroom lovely but shower are a bit tight and, word of warning, watch out for shower tap - very easy to knock and turn it to full hot - ouch!
It is a modern hotel, with good facilities, and some rooms have a amazing view from acroppoli. I recomend!!!
good location, good facilities, great breakfast, friendly staff, nice view, great terrace, mostly very happy
the bed was not comfortable, so did not sleep well, and the room was very small, kept bumping my head on the tv!
Location and the view was great from the Acropolis side of the hotel. Get room 601 if you can! Hotel is good value, but watch out for the overbooking scams!
The breakfast was very average, better to seek a breakfast at a local cafe. Bed was very soft, possibly from overuse:-) by past participants.
Very good location but definitely overpriced. Although the room was nice, it was way too small for the fare paid
Walking distance of Acropolis area. Helpful reception staff. Early part-breakfast available for early departures.
Price too high for hotel with limited facilities. Very small bathroom. Toiletries not refilled during 4 night stay. No outlook from room -balcony overlooked by neighbouring properties. Lack of pavement, making walking dangerous around parked cars. No food available other than breakfast.
The location was perfect as it within the proximity of the tourist spots in Athens
The size of the rooms are a bit small, though it is a budget hotel it would have been nice if it was a little bigger so that its easy to unpack our bags and move around at the same time.
The air conditioning, comfortable and not noisy, easy to adjust.
Could not make a cup of tea in room
Cleaners didn't do very thorough job. Bit expensive
Location, value for money, helpfull staff.
Triple room kind of small for 3 adults
the location is perfect, we saw an opera at the acropolis and the hotel was in walking distance. It is clean and fresh.
the water of the swimming pool had a strange taste so the children did only use it once guests who put their towels on the lounge chairs around the swimming pool the meat and cheese for breakfast were not good
We asked for a room on the 5th floor, nice view of the Acropoli. Large room. All the touristic sites at a walking distance. Roof terrace with great view of all the city. Nice bars and restaurants just downstairs, next to the underground stop.
Breakfast didn't look good and fresh. The shampoo and bodysoap have been refilled after 2 days (they weren't new ones, just refilled with cheap soap!)
Staff is very friendly and helpfull It's very new and nicely decorated
The pool is not on the roof so there are not so many hours of sun. On the other hand if it's very warm then the shade is a plus. The room was not so big but it had a balcony.
handy and clean
Bathrooms very small
