Score from 1112 reviews Excellent
the decoration was amazing. warm and cozy hotel. Perfect location :)
Price, friendly staff, location and of the course, the bed.
Room heating system.
Amazing room setting, love the deco and very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again Breakfast was awesome and DIY freshly squeeze orange juice and great variety of breakfast selections easily worth 10 euros or more. Excellent location too! Minutes away from Parthenon
The hotel by itself is very well located, but when you go further than the Acropolis and the touristic zone, Athens is very unsecured and dirty... drug dealers, tags in all the walls of Athens, we didn't see any police during our stay. The most choking thing I saw was when a group of men shooting themselves with a syringe of drug in the garden of the National Museum at 11 a.m ! Also, we had very bad experience with the local "hospitality", in a restaurant, and taximan, say one price at the beginning, but at the end it was another price... I will never come back to Athens, but we enjoyed the days when we went to the islands, so, avoid Athens, or spend maximum 1 day to visit the Acropolis, beside this, there is no point to stay longer
Everything was great with just 1 word. Tek kelimeyle her şey mükemmeldi.
Everything was pretty good. These guys were very accommodating. Check out is at 12 noon, but my return fight wasn't until 9:40 p.m. so that allowed me to stay in the room for a half day at half the rate. Most hotels will make you pay the full rate, but not these guys. I really appreciated being able to rest up before my flight home.
Carpets could have been cleaner.
The family room set up
The cleaning people were not very efficient. Breakfast staff used bare hands to restock some items - unhygenic
Good location, walking distance to Akropolis and other tourist attractions, very nice and helpful staff, clean and fresh room, rooms and corridors nice decorated.
I read lots of opinions pointing as a downside the noise from the street. I was not paying attention to them but... it is really true...Breakfast was only ok, standard twin room small and the beds also.
*Staff was friendly and available 24/7 *Each room is UNIQUE *very clean *very convenient location for city center walks and general transportation
*no car parking *air-cons need to be renewed
Staff, breakfast, location...
There is nothing we don't like. The staff speak excellent English and are willing to help you all the time. It is quite special in that way. Greek breakfast is excellent. The kitchen lady makes one feels at home. It is simply superior service of all hotels we have stayed in seven countries during this one trip.
Noise on the street. It is in the very center of downtown facing one big busy street with heavy traffic all night. It feels bad to complain because of those staff's extraordinary niceness. Good thing is the room is not shaking with the noise so perhaps ear plugs may alleviate the noise.
Everything, really great place to stay with excellent staff.
Location- Near to metro Stations and Center of City Hearty and helpful attitude of Hotel Personal Delicious breakfast with rich alternative offers- particularly fresh orange juice Comfortable Bed and clean Bath. Economic price according its features
Traffic noise ( Particularly motorcycles") if you let room-balcony door open during day time.
It was in a great location, near to everywhere I needed to go. For such a central hotel it was very reasonably priced. I liked the hotel - it was less anodyne and more quirky.
The proximity of the hotel to the main tourist attractions is very likable for those who would prefer to be just out of the tourist quarters and more where the less polished city begins. The staff was professional and helpful. Breakfast was abundant. Wifi reception was acceptable.
Overall the hotel was like a relic dressed up to accommodate business oriented visitors and upon struggling with this mission swiftly converted to meet budget tourism demand. The room was a bit stifling with heavy curtains presumably chosen in order to mitigate the road noise as much as possible. Alas the rumble of the traffic was relentless and combined with other shortcomings became a real deal breaker. Other noises included piping that would wake you up whenever one of your neighbours flushed their toilet. Finally, if I were to choose one flaw that would be the signifier for all the rest, that would be the mother of all evil; a leaky bath tub.
Proximity to Acropolis and the restaurants in the Plaka (especially Dionysius). We liked the National Archeological Museum and the Maritime Museum. Hotel was always open, safe, clean, with very nice staff
No mini-bar or tea in room; needed great perseverence and intelligence to get the TV working; breakfast slightly crowded; none of these were major issues
price room design location
very noisy avenue bathroom design small, bad quality tv that occupies half desk space
The hotel was located within walking distance to many tourist attractions(the Acropolis, Stygma square, and other ruins) and there were many shopping and dining options nearby in the Plaka district. The breakfast that was included was tasty and substantial. The staff was very congenial and offered helpful suggestions for planning daily excursions.
We got a different room after asking without any problems.
The rooms on the street side are really noisy. The single beds used as double are really uncomfortable.
The hotel was very easy to reach by Metro from the airport. The staff helped us to find our way to places of interest and recommended good restaurants. All the main points of interest were within walking distance. The breakfast had more variety than we found in other places.
Nice design, clean, friendly staff, strategic location. Walking distance to the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, and the Temple of Zeus. Walk a bit more further you can reach Plaka & Syntagma square.
Dining area is however quite small and most of the tables are for 2 guests only.
Everything was great! The staff was always helpful, the room was clean and tidy, tthe wifi reception at the room was excellent. The hotel was conveniently located to the acropolis museum, monastiraki, sintagma square and so on and there was also a metro station nearby. All in all a great choice!
Nothing bad to comment about!
The beds are out of this world > amazing. I am thinking of importing the mattress, pillows the whole lot back to uk. Coco beds... ; ) Also the breakfast is Perfect! With fresh oranges for juice.
That It's hard to leave the comfy bed/ room for sightseeing... &Amp; That the beach isn't right outfront the door. ; )
