Location was great and I have no complaints about our room. Fresh orange juice for breakfast was very special.

Breakfast could have had a better variety of eggs. Although our room was very clean I noticed that the carpets on the staircases needed shampooing. As soon as we arrived the bill was charged to our creditcard which they knew from the booking process - perhaps we would have preferred to pay by cash.

My room was small but quite adequate for a solo traveler. Nice decor and very clean. The staff was kind & accommodating.

Location

I have booked deluxe double and asked for quiet room 9garden not street side). On arrival we were given 6 beded room on the ground floor at the street side. after long huggling we were given normal not de-luxe double with the window over the back yard. On departure I was forced to pay for de-luxe room as we requested the quiet room. As de-luxe room is few euros more expensive we were cheated for such amount of money. as a summary - we fill cheated, the staff was hopeless and the hotel was dirty. I would never recommend it to anybody.

We stayed at the Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel for a few days to visit the city. The location is excellent, close to the metro stations (Sygrou-Fix and Acropolis) and to the Acropolis itself. Good breakfast, overall a pleasant stay.

the location was good, and the hotel was in pretty good condition and clean. quick access to the Metro (Fix), the bus to Sunion goes right along that road, and its a 10 min walk to the acropolis. All in all, it was a good experience.

nearby there are some adult novelty shops, which make the first impression a bit worrying. but once you figure out your surroundings you are ok.

The location was perfect,the furnishings were funky and the staff were particularly helpful.

Everything is simply good about this hotel , location very easy to find and 5 min walk to Acropolis museum , rooms are clean and comfortable , breakfast was good .

The breakfast provided great coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and a variety of food that would please both young and more mature people. The entrance and great hall in the hotel were very nice also

The breakfast food was very tasty, but, they need to store buffet items on something that maintains the food at a hot temperature. Lukewarm or cold eggs are not very tasty. At night, the noise from the bar as well as the smothering cigarette smoke kept us from getting quality sleep and put a damper on our enjoyment. On both nights, the noise and heavy smell of cigarettes kept me up until 3-4 AM. Also the beds were far from what we're accustomed to. We are a couple who sleep together when we're at home. At this hotel, we were forced to either squeeze into a narrow bed in order to sleep together, or, we needed to sleep apart. We asked for a double bed. We got two beds that were too narrow to be called double beds. Also the decor of our room was rather tacky. Please get rid of the pink drapery on the walls and the plastic beads hanging off lamps and chandelier. It's a little over the top!

Easy to find from the metro.Comfortable bed. Good location for the Acropolis & Plaka. Friendly reception staff. General cleanliness was good.

Dated decor. The website images are deceptive and suggest a far glamorous establishment than it really is. Noise from the very busy main road. Breakfast selection was unappetising and poorly presented I.e. supposedly hot food was served cold. Loud music in the bar. Spare duvet in room was grubby and without a cover.

A lovely little hotel that matched the good reviews already published. Friendly reception, clean room, comfortable bed, good shower, decent toiletries, well-cleaned toilets, decent breakfast. The comments about a good location are fully justified. It was excellent value for money and well worth recommending to others.

Perhaps the manager should have a word with the barman. We were charged €12 for two small drinks that cost half the price elsewhere. The music was so loud that we had to shout to be heard. It did not match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

Everything was excellent except the car noise from the road.

My room was first floor in front of the street. Was hard sleep.

I have stayed several times in the Acropolis museum boutique hotel and this has not been an accident. The rooms are comfortable (cocomat mattresses, pillows etc), clean and spacious. Double glazing windows keep out the sound of the noisy street and the temperature is well controlled both in summer and winter. the showers operate flawlessly and the products provided are of decent quality (not top). The breakfast provides variety for any taste, although there could be improvements in quality. The quantity is unquestionable. The staff is always polite and willing to help. The most attractive feature of the hotel is by far the location, not for lack of other good features (as mentioned above) but because it is superbly located close to metro station (1 minute walk), many buses to every direction and of course the Acropolis (5 minute walk). All the above combined with a price which (to my research) is always the most competitive for the area of downtown Athens for its category.

The location and the service are just perfect. It is near to Acropolis - the heart of Athens. The service is excellent. Donna is very helpful and always there to assist. Highly recommended.

Great location: close to the Acropolis, only 3 minutes walking to the Syngrou metro station, walking distance to Plaka and shopping areas, also to the Syntagma Square. Nice design. The room was large and comfortable, maintained in perfect condition. Very clean. The Wi-Fi in the room was fast enough. The breakfast was very good, rich selection including fruits and fresh orange juice. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. We are especially grateful to manager Donara whose wide knowledge, good advices and recommendations helped us a lot and made our visit to Athens unforgettable. Donara speaks also fluent Russian, as well as another reception administrator Elena. So Russian speaking guests may consult them in their native language. Our staying in the hotel was a wonderful experience! We"ll recommend it to all our friends.

The only shortcoming I would mention is a heavy traffic in the Syngroy Avenue, where the hotel is situated. So it was a little bit noisy in our room, but thanks to good sound insulation it was bearable. About 30% of the hotel rooms are facing the courtyard, so the guests there do not suffer from the noise.

1) Excellent location (7min walking to Acropolis, 3min walking to Metro, 15min to First Olympic stadio and to Parlament); 2) Free wi-fi; 3) Frendly staff (some of them speak on Russian); 4) bar with conversable owner.

1) Really small Single room; 2) no napkins; 3) no list of internal phone numbers; 4) elevator only from the 1/2 of the floor (it could be important to persons with physical limitations). Despite everything I would recommend this Hotel.

Good location - close to Metro station, and Acropolis. Easy access to walk to all key visitor locations. Nice decor - had an individual and 'Athenian' feel to it, rather than be a non-descript international hotel

Overpowering smell of smoke/cigarettes in the reception area, which permeated up to the rooms.

Except for below, everything was great

Morning breakfast was always cold, I know there's a way for the hotel to place something more efficient than one candle beneath the potatoes, eggs and spinach pie. Other than that everything was great, our regards to Donara, who really helped us because she spoke Russian (my girlfriend is from Russia. Bernie Bildman

The people were very friendly and accomodating! Front Desk Receptionist spoke English and they were very helpful, and very nice. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and had plenty of selections. It was withing walking distance of the Acropolis and the hop on-hop off bus line....and I highly recommend the "Smile" restaurant just a couple of blocks from the hotel. Would definately tay there again, and highly recommend this hotel!!

its on main street and there is a lot of noise. There is just 2 tv channels

The bed was by far the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at in Greece. The room was spacious and very clean. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the Acropolis, and very close to the metro station. The breakfast was wonderful.

We had booked a reservation for 2 nights. Unfortunately we had a flight delay which resulted in us arriving 24 hours late. We decided to adjust our itinerary to stay an extra day and I was hoping the hotel would work with us to renegotiate the reservation. However, they were inflexible and charged us for the first night we missed. I understand they have a business to run but because they would not work with us, we decided to take our money somewhere else and booked a different hotel for that additional night. If I am ever in Athens again I will never stay at that hotel, nor will I recommend it to anyone. We were weary and stressed travelers and even a small concession on their part would have made a huge impact and resulted in us staying there a 3rd night.

Room 401, ours has an ultra-modern setting; white, black - very avant-garde and artistic - which is my taste, perhaps not everyone. Lobby and staircase traditional. Very clean hotel. A great breakfast buffet selection served early. Staff helpful.. Excellent location - you can walk to acropolis & museum; Many restaurants around the corner.

Nothing we really did not like but... Depending on the room, could be noisy as it is at an angle of two very busy streets, but soundproof is pretty good. I understand you have a view of the Acropolis from room 402! For older couples, stairs from lobby to elevator, and stairs from elevator to floor 4. Staff will help with suitcases.
