Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel  

We liked the personal approach, quiet room, cleanliness, and especially the breakfast. They were very accommodating.

Our shower was really nice. We requested a high floor and we got it. It also had a balcony and was very clean. We liked the manager. She took care of our friend when she came home late one night and she was not exactly sober. The staff are caring and it showed. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

Our room was a bit small, but it was our first trip to Europe and we are just used to seeing more room in a room.

Friendly staff, nice decorated (deluxe) room with a very comfortable king size bed, free wi-fi, location near the "Syntagma fix" metro station and tasty breakfast. Overall good value for money, would stay again.

Poor choice of beverages at the hotel bar. Most of the sorts were finished at breakfast. The handheld shower head always fell off from the bracket.

We liked everything. A really good base for doing the ancient bits of Athens on a short city trip. Syngrou is a busy avenue - most Athens hotels are on busy avenues I've found, but the sound proofing in this was one was first class and the traffic outside was not a problem at all. Very welcoming, helpful, friendly staff. Excellent decor throughout with a suitable but nicely underplayed historic theme. First class breakfasts, probably the best I've encountered in many trips to Greece over the years. Very comfortable, well appointed rooms. Short walk - 200 yards or so - to the start of the archaeological district. An easy to find hotel in a city that can sometimes be confusing for non-Greek reading visitors. Very close to a metro station if coming in from the airport. Would strongly recommend as a base for doing all the ancient archaeological stuff, especially as I think this southern side of central Athens is a much nicer approach to the Acropolis etc compared with coming in from the Omonia side of the city. There is little evidence of the 'seedier' side of Athens in this part of the town. It's busy but liverly and safe, imo. And it's very close to Plaka and other historic-tourist districts of Athens.

Too small room , everything is packed, and the lighting(electric) in the room was low.

Group of 10 girls and we loved it. Looked like it did in the pics. We all loved our rooms and the small touches. The decor was lush. Breakfast was nice - warm and cold food, freshly squeezed juices. Location was nice - not in the heart of Plaka, but close enough for us, a 15 min stroll was nice and we got to see the busy side os town and then seep into the Plaka and the parks away from it all. Would all stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff was extraordinarily helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They made our stay truly memorable. We had chosen the hotel because of its exceptional location (just a few blocks from the Acropolis), and its good value, and we couldn't have found a better place. We were thrilled.

It felt like I was staying somewhere familiar. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. Also, for a small sized hotel they have an extensive breakfast buffet! Will definitely recommend and return.
