Hotel Amazon is in a great location in the heart of Athens, within walking distance of the major archaeological sites and Syntagma Metro Station.

Would be nice if the had a cattle to make tea in the room and maybe even a small mocrowave for families with babies to warm food, milk etc.
Very little . It was very good value but you got what you paid for .
Breakfast was very poor . Coffee un drinkable and the rest poor quality
It is very close to the Acropolis! Thus we were able to reach Acropolis very early. It is also very near to the metro station which is linked to the airport. If you want to see other areas like the Plaka, Anafiotika or Monasteraki, the hotel is strategically located and within walking distance.
This was the end of a two month trip for us and to sit and watch the sunrise and sunsets from the roof top was inspirational. The acropolis laid out in front of us... all that history. A three minute walk to the entrance and a few blocks from the museum. The staff treated us like old friends & helped set up other excursions.Thank you! The price is excellent and the location can NOT be beat. A great deal all the way around. Highly recommend.
The fact we had to leave!
I thought the staff were very friendly helpful arranging taxi travel directions. Rooms were clean, good value for money.
The location The Staff The strong Wifi
The rooms could be a little more insulated to drown out sounds.
Great view from the rooftop. Close to museum, Acropolis and train station and restaurants.
Breakfast was dreadful. Canned fruit, watered down juice, rock hard bread, stale cakes etc. Would rather they halve the quantity and double the quality. Bath/shower was odd, it was two levels like a step. So you had to step up into it and the lower level was then very small. Just odd.
The available roof terrace. Not a restaurant just a beautiful decorated space with elegant tables where you can hang out and enjoy an Amazing view.
We paid for a view room, but would have been just as happy with a regular room and utilizing the roof. As it was we neglected to look at the roof until the morning we were leaving. A HUGE mistake on our part.
Great view of Acropolis from the rooftop. Quiet surroundings at night. Clean room with comfortable bed. Kind and helpful staff. Excellent wi-fi connection. Good value for money.
Would have been perfect if it were closer to a metro station.
A quiet hotel in the most beautiful neighborhood of Athens
Great hotel for it's price. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, excellent location.
Poor breakfast variety
The hotel is in walking distance from the main sights. There is a beautiful view to the Acropolis from the roof terrace. Stuff is helpful.
Doors are not the best because you can hear lot of noise from the floor.
Dimitris, an excellent choice for reception - great humour, helpful with choices of restaurants, directions and shopping. Hotel has the best location to visit the major ruins, particularly the Acropolis. Cafés, shops and Metro station are fairly close by as is the Acropolis museum. Breakfast has a varietyi to suit most guests. Rooms are clean and a decent size with comfortable beds. Our balcony had a great view of the Acropolis at night. Is a great place to stay with Wi-Fi available in the room, 24/7 bar and spacious lounge opposite reception. Having breakfast set out at 4am coz of our early departure for the airport. Recommend this to all planning to visit the 'Rock'.
Having to check out!
Comfortable for a solo female traveller. Staff is very accommodating. Location: close to major attractions, multiple kinds of food and eating venues, and transportation, should it be necessary.
For my needs and budget, there is nothing that I did not like.
the location is very good. suggested
room is not really isolate, can hear the room just nearby
Everything was beautiful.
From some rooms when you look trough the window, you see an wall.
I really liked the location of the hotel and also the staff was helpful. The owner is great and will do as much to help as possible with advise and tips on where and what to see.
Almost everything was perfect! Location was amazing, the view of the Acropolis from the balcony at the top of the hotel was great!, beds were comfy, room was spacious, price was great, and towels were plentiful.
The shower head was broken and I had to take a shower while holding it in order to rinse off :( very uncomfortable
I booked the room well in advance and got excellent rate. The room and bathroom were on the small side but sufficient - you get what you pay for. Even a fridge is there. The same goes for breakfast. The choice of food is average but very reasonable and fresh. WI-FI is OK and there is a PC in the breakfast room that you can use any time. My compliments to the very friendly and helpful staff. Don't miss the view from the roof terrace, particularly in the evening.
If there was some English speaking program (particularly the news) available on the TV, I would have liked it. But you don't go Athens to watch the TV.
In the centre of the city.
We've asked for the quiet room, but were given a room facing the road with bykes and cars.
The hotel team was very helpful Great location
Room was small and not too comfortabkle
very nice hotel，good location ，friendly boss and his wife...i will choose this hotel if i will be there next time
Accessibility - Close to and easy to walk around absolutely everywhere I wanted to go to. WiFi - free and available in my room. Sitting on the roof watching the beautiful lit up ruins
Squeezy shower, room near lifts and stairs and no soundproofing (that said though, I would still stay there again)
