Acropolis View Hotel    

Local feel. Walking distance to Acropolis and other sights, metro station, shops and taverns. Close to mountain for trail runs. Quiet area. Clean room. Good breakfast. Cold air conditioning. And an interesting little bath cubicle - adds to novelty. Easy to find.

Internet a bit slow. Shower head not fixed to wall.

Staff was excellent..they allowed me to store package there for 2 weeks before stay. They made breakfast for us at 2:30 am before our early flight back to DC...They arranged a taxi for that early departure for a good price!! View on roof is excellent, breakfast is great, rooms clean even if small...perfect for us!!!

The view on the roof is excellent. I enjoyed sunset on the roof.

Location was the best. The Acropolis view from the rooftop of the hotel was splendid.

Basic accomodation, kind of aged hotel. Beds and pillows are not very convinient. Air conditioner may be too wak for summertime.

Very conveniently located to the sights we wanted to see. Every thing was within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We paid extra for a balcony room with an acropolis view, and it did not disappoint!

The view, the proximity to lots of great street restaurants, the general cleaness of that whole residential area!

You could not get a better location! We were just a few steps from the acropolis, great cafes and bars and markets! If ur looking for a place really just to sleep and put ur luggage this is it! You get what u pay for but again the location is amazing! W

The shower was so small that if u are a bigger person I'm not sure u could fit in it!

The hotel is very close to the Acropolis and you get a great view from the rooftop garden. It is very close to nearly all sites. The new room we had was good. We had a balcony. The bathroom was okay, the room was clean. It's the only room we had in Greece where we didn't have to hold the shower. The tv worked. In the other room it didn't. The breakfast is very good for the price.

When we first arrived, as this was our second stay at the hotel, we fully expected a room with a balcony. We were given a very pokey room, with a broken handle. the shower was in a very small bath, with the rim way to high to get into. It is dangerous. It would have been very stuffy. The location is great, but the noise is dreadful. Bring your earplugs.

This hotel has passed its prime but is still clean, comfortable and in fantastic location - only minutes on foot from the entrance to Acropolis, museum, etc, The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. The high point is the roof terrace which unrestricted view of the Acropolis

Air con wasn't working despite warm day and lots of road noise in rooms at the back of the building.

I liked everything!! It is really near the Acropolis, a 10 minute walk and you are already on the top of the Acropolis! 20 minutes away from Plaka to the right and from Monastiraki to the left. Three blocks away from the New Acropolis Museum. The environment is really nice and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and well served! You will enjoy your stay in this hotel!

Great view, very close to acropolis, only 3 min walk.

Difficult to find the hotel according to the map. The distance from nearest metro station is a bit far, especially if you have lots of luggage.

The staffs were very nice and Professional. Very close to Acropolis. The view on the top roof was wonderful. Breakfast is ok. It good that it starts at 6:30am, which is early enough for us to leave early to catch up the flight.

It's a little bit far from metro station, and it's a road going up. We had to drag our baggage all the way to the hotel, which was a little tiring.

I loved that even though we were only there for a short time before our flight the staff was very accommodating. They arranged our VERY early taxi and even arranged for early breakfast for us. AMAZING view.

The shower head wouldn't stay up on the wall, but that was a minor thing since the rest of the room was nice.
