Proximity to Acropolis & shopping in Plaka.
Small bathroom & AC controlled by guy at front desk.
price and noise
Good location Helpful staff Great breakfast with view of acropolis
Very small dark room Bathroom extremely tight with view small fittings.
Friendly excellent view
No fresh fruit for breakfast
The staff was lovely.
Noise both in street and noisy guests. Poor acoustics.
Perfect location in the Plaka to all the main Athens sites and Metro. Quiet too. On a pedestrian only street.
Bathroom was tiny...but as a solo traveler it worked okay.
Super friendly staff, great location, good value, very quiet and relaxing. This is the second time I have stayed here. I hope it isn't the last.
Location, walking distance from main station and short walk to main tourist attractions. Roof top bar/breakfast room has an amazing view of the acropolis.
Small bathroom. No shower head holder.
Roof garden breakfast and drinks. Great location
Room had an odor
Great view, and great location. Friendly staff.
The bathroom was incredibly small, and the room a little noisy.
Location, roof top bar view
Air conditioning controlled by reception, no fridge in room, poor breakfast, small bathroom
good place ，through the window you can see the famous site
Good location Clean rooms
Small shower No safe in hotel rooms Offered no info about Athens during check in.
Afternoon staff very helpful, good recommendations for places to visit
Location was great- in Plaka close to Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, temple of Zeus, etc. Food options nearby were good. Rooms were clean. The breakfast was good with a great view of the Acropolis. Value for money.
Rooms, Bathroom were too small. We had to get the AC remote from the reception to adjust the room temperature and had to return it to the reception as One single remote was shared between multiple rooms. This can easily be improved by the Hotel getting additional remotes and having 1 each for every room.
Closeness to Plaka and other points of interest. Also handy to Metro and other transport.Staff very helpful.
Size of rooms mainly bathroom very small but no more than expected for the tariff.
Location, morning breakfast, evening drinks all with an awesome view.
Cot with pad.
location clean room
bathroom was really tiny no view at all very noisy at night facilities are outdated
location and the owner of the hotel. I was sure we will get a RENOVATED room but after we saw the room we were very disappointed to find out this wasn't true. The owner agreed to cancel our reservation, in the end, that behaviour was what convinced me to stay, cause we had to leave early in the next morning.
all the rest, the room is very small and very old. I felt like Gulliver even with my 160 cm :/ . The walls are thin as paper and you can hear all other guests and lobby. the shower has no pole in it. the bathroom is full with mole which is hidden behind a big tart. the sink is so small!! there is no EC remote control, you have to ask the lobby for one?! seriously not worth the money...
Clean, quiet, nice position, welcoming staff
breakfast:good view but limited choice and low quality
Extraordinary location in Plaka in a quiet and pedestrian street Closely located to airport shuttle Very early breakfast provided Views to Acropolis from roof terrace (though I didn't get to see it) Helpful staff
Very small bathroom Dripping toilet cistern
My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Adonis just last week and we had a very good experience. The staff was extremely helpful and honest with us about great places to eat and to visit around Athens. Plaka is a really good place to stay with nice shops and food spots. Not to mention the great view of the Acropolis at night from the Hotel Bar upstairs. Thanks Hotel Adonis. We will return soon!
Location is convenient, our room (just below restaurant) had a excellent view to Acropolis.
Small bathroom. Overall it was too noisy inside the hotel, we woke up really early (6am) with people walking and talking on the corridors (thin walls).
The staff was extremely helpful, especially Nikos who never stopped to give us advice about everything. Perfect position and stunning view from rooftop bar for breakfast and from the room I was lucky to have! After all a very good place to spend few days in Athens.
A bit less comfy the ac in the room, it is no possible to control it from the room and you have to call reception every time to regulate the temperature( and they PHYSICALLY come in the room with the only controller they say they have got). Also very uneasy the payment in cash, as in all Greece I believe they have problems with the banks as we all know. They don't have a garage facilties so if you come with a car or motorbike you'll have to leave it in one of the garages around the aerea.
The location was great. The breakfast was served in a terrace with a lovely view of the Acropolis. Even though there was some trouble with our reservation (the credit card appeared to be "inactive" and the reservation wasn't completed), the hotel staff had kept the room waiting for us and charged us the same price as the initial reservation.
The room was basic and very very tiny, to the point that it was hard to move around. Considering the size of the room, the hotel is rather pricey (even when factoring in the location).
