Noisy Small, plain room
The view of the Acropolis from the Roof Top Bar, and the excellent location relative to restaurants, Syntagma Square, and transportation to and from airport.
The room on our first stay fronted on the street, and was OK. Our second stay room 207? fronted on a masonry wall, and wasn't so exotic. The rooms appeared Spartan, particularly room 207?and we had to call for extra toilet paper, and the A/C remote control, which was not to hand.
breakfast terrace with view on Acropolis
all the rest
We stayed 2 nights and they didn't clean the room. Triple room was very very small, you cannot move, but bathroom was even worse (the sink measured like 40*30cm or less and you couldn't was your teeth without having your feet wet, claustrophobic).Price is very expensive for what you get and pictures don't match the reality.
The people were very very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent and smack in the middle of Plaka.
The pictures on this site looking a lot nicer than my room. Not sure if this was one that still needs to be redecorated. I was right next to the stairwell and lift so a bit noisy in the morning. Could hear the chairs scraping across the floor in the breakfast room.
We stayed only one night, but night view from the bar of this hotel was awesome! It was beyond description, we really enjoyed staying in this hotel.
Staff friendly & helpful. Good breakfast with amazing view. Great location.
Room especially bathroom very small. Tiny balcony facing brick wall.
We stayed in the suite which provided privacy for three adults in a clean environment. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The view from one room was a cement wall, but hey, this is a small hotel. I would stay there again.
Have a great view of Acrop.
excellent location, nice rooftop bar views for all to enjoy. Good breakfast.
did not accept card payments, cash only.
Generally a very noisy hotel as a result of people constantly coming and going - a bit like a dorm but a good trade off all the same!
We were extremely satisfied with your hotel and will certainly choose it again for our next visit to Athens. We particularly liked the kind reception, the quite position, the central position, the excellent view and atmosphere at breakfast, etc.
Excellent location, near most tourist attractions. Very friendly staff.
The first room was tiny, noisy and nothing like the pictures, so we asked for another room and the staff put us in a better room, but still noisy.
All the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful staff, Maria at the rooftop bar and the lady in the breakfast room. They also responded quickly to emails. Happy to print boarding passes for us. Nice rooftop terrace for breakfast and sunset views of the acropolis Good value for money (you get what you pay for) Well located in quiet area of Plaka. Overall a great stay for 2 nights. Had a little balcony off our room which was almost as big as our room.
I knew the room would be tiny but the bathroom is one of the smallest I have ever encountered but my husband is 6'1 and he just coped with the shower. Ok for just 1 or 2 nights. Best to be fully aware so there are no surprises. No complaints.
Nice view from the roof.
Not all rooms are as well decorated or comfy as the images on website. Beware
Hotel is in a convenient location in Plaka and is close to the Acropolis and many shops & restaurants.
We rented 2 superior double rooms which were advertised as having views of the acropolis. There was nothing superior about these rooms. Only one of our rooms has a view of the Acropolis while the other faced this inside of the building. This place needs some serious renovation: The facilities are very old and run down. The bathroom is small with a tiny sink, toilet, and shower. A tarp was hung on the bathroom ceiling to conceal pealing paint and perhaps a leak on the ceiling. In one of our rooms, the glass on the bathroom window was broken and the hairdryer did not work. There was no individual controller for the AC in the rooms. The AC is supposed to be controlled by the front desk or on automated control but none of the AC in either room worked throughout the day & night. Breakfast buffet was quite poor serving what resembled more like Tang rather than orange juice, overcooked boiled eggs, & unexciting choices of dry breads and cereals. You have to give the key back to the front desk each time you leave the hotel. Although they claim to have someone at the front desk 24hrs/day, be prepared to wait a few minutes after ringing the doorbell multiple times when you come back to the hotel at night (after 9pm). Unlike most other hotels which accept Credit Cards, this hotel only takes cash. Definitely not worth the money - I do not recommend this hotel.
Excellent location if you want to visit old Athens.Very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean.very nice view of Acropolis from the roof garden
The rooms are very small and too old.The pictures on booking are very different from the actual room. Very expensive for the facilities they offer.I could book a 4 star hotel for the same price
Prime location, Reasonable space for triple room.
No safe in the room to keep valuables, Mediocre breakfast, Cash payment, Poor wifi in the room.
The terrace bar. Close to sintagma square and place. Good pillows
Breakfast didn't have fresh fruit. Sink in the toilet hard to use. View if the room was to a wall.
Room was adequate for price after a long multi-leg flight. Easy to get to from the subway and easy to walk through the Plaka and to Acropolis. Great vegetarian restaurant close by. The view from the rooftop bar is great way to end the day with a drink. Though breakfast came with our room, we had to be up really early to get to our ferry and did not get to try it. We've stayed at several hotels in Athens and would come back.
Shower was very small, though we are used to small European rooms.
Excellent Location, very very nice staff . clean hotel.
WiFi signal only available when you around the front disk and it is very poor, no signal at all in the room. around 13 TV channels available and most of them are local Greek TV shows that i can't understand, bathroom very tiny and the wall between the rooms very thin.
It was so lovely having breakfast with the Acropolis in the background. The staff was friendly and helpful. Niko was so accomadating to our mixed up itinerary.
The bathroom sink was a little small.
perfect lokation - very friendly stuff -
small, simple hotel with a very friendly atmosphere phantastic view from the balcony (breakfast and also in the evening)
sorry to say this, but I like to sleep long: breakfast only until 9.30h, about:)
location is pretty much it. Oh yes, the view from the breakfast bar is very good.
Insulation is not very good, we could hear the guy doing his "private" business in the bathroom from the room next door. I would not recommend this hotel for a stay longer then a few days.
