location in PLAKA at the foot of the ACROPOLIS. Pedestrian zone.Large balcony with good views on top floor.Quiet.

Needs a bit of TLC. Sink too big for bathroom.

The terrace breakfast facility was superb with its view of the north side of the Acropolis. It's location on the periphery of the Acropolis made for easy access to the Roman Agora and the Greek Agora. Hadrian's Library was only 100 meters away as well. The Adrian Hotel lived up to my expectations for a superior Plaka residence.

Location. Breakfasts on roof (but watch out for the doves on the tables). Good size balconies.

Extremely noisy air-conditioning. Managers & staff could be more friendly, especially in resolving problems. Have stayed before but will look elsewhere next time.

Amazing breakfast at the roof of the hotel, very clean rooms (eg. Towels changed daily), perfect location - everything within a walking distance I took metro only twice (to get to/from the airport), kind and helpful hotel staff which really helped me with getting out of Athens on the strike day

I think that hotel staff should inform all the guests (not only these leaving Athens) about strikes.

location amazing 10 out of 10. The most wonderful breakfast ever offered to us during our 2 months european holiday. Staff kind, courteous and very efficient. Room a little tired but considering the bonus of everything else, we will definately return to The Adrian

Great location, nice staff comfortable rooms, good price I've been here several times before.

I loved the view of the Acropollis from the breakfast terrace. The towels were large and fluffy.

We had a magnificent view of the Acropolis from our balcony and the hotel was in an excellent location near the Plaka within walking distance of all the museums, sights, resturants, shops and transport. We only had 2 days to see and do everything so the hotel was perfect for us. The breakfast was delicious and was served early from the rooftop garden with it beautiful views. The staff became more friendly as our stay progressed. It was great to have a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee whenever we wanted. the bed as comfortable and bathroom adequate. We can definitely recommend the Adrian Hotel.

Location was excellent, staff was nice and helpful. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a flight so the hotel prepared take away breakfast which was nice.

The breakfast location is great(!) but the breakfasts themselves are slightly disapppointing.

The location in The Plaka is very good. Close to shopping and tavernas and sightseeing. The roof top garden has a beautiful view and a very nice breakfast. The owner was very accommodating. The linens were clean.

The sleeping rooms are much too small for 2 people. The bathroom is extremely small. The rooms and baths are in despirate need of renovations. Marble is stained, carpet is stained, tubs are very small. Could barely move in either the bathroom or the tub. With it's prime location this property would be fantastic if it were renovated. I talked to the owner about it, and he said it could not afford to close it for renovations, nor does he have the funding. Too bad.

The man at reception on arrival was very helpful, e.g. allowing our friends to store baggage for a few hours, getting them a taxi, recommending a great restaurant for me and my wife, sorting us a room with a view of the Acropolis etc. Breakfast was a lot better than I expected - good range and good quality. Great location as we liked Plaka as a base. Shower a bit small but powerful and instant heat. Like the fact that it had wi-fi which worked and had a safe in the room.

As I said, the shower was a bit small and you couldn't leave it running while you soaped up without it drenching the floor, but there was a simple workaround. No other negative comments.

The Adrian Hotel is perfectly located in the Plaka district of Athens and only 15 minutes walk from the Acropolis. We actually had a view of the Acropolis from our bedroom window and had breakfast on the open air terrace gazing up at the Acropolis - fantastic! We were able to walk around the Plaka area with ease in the evening. Perfect position. It is a small hotel, which added to the feel of comfort. Our room was clean, the air conditioning very efficient, and all the hotel staff were extremely helpful. We loved it!
