Right on the Blue Flag beach at the end of the Rethymno promenade overlooking the Cretan Sea, 5-star Sentido Aegean Pearl provides stylish rooms and a buffet breakfast. The hotel features 3 pools and 2 gourmet restaurants. Rooms at the Aegean Pearl are decorated with modern furnishings and include a satellite LCD TV and DVD player. All air conditioned units have a furnished balcony. Some rooms offer sea views and others feature a private pool. Ariadne Restaurant serves a rich dinner buffet at its terrace. Our suite was very impressive, large, modern and finished to a high standard. The whole hotel was high quality and in tip top condition. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Didn't try dinner but breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed a very nice sauna and steam bath for an extra 5 euros.

The hotel rooms were excellent and also the staff were very friendly The food was ok but I beleive it can be better..we had a lunch and dinner but lunch was bad and dinner excellent. The waiter in change at lunch was not very helful..there was only few food left and he did not do much about it. So we paid 18 euros each and did not actully eat.

Definitely a five star hotel! Friendly staff, great great great room, nice enviroment. A bit far from the city (20 min walk). The breakfast could be better. No free WiFi.

Beachfront location is very good. Public areas are excellent. Room is comfortable, although design is a little strange for people who are less than comfortable sharing toilet functions with their partners. Staff could be snooty. Food ranged from excellent to so-so, as choices were based on quantity instead of quality. We would not have stayed there except for our wish to coordinate with friends who used the hotel for a full week-long family package (for which it is well-suited).

le buffet est excellent... les chambres sont vraiment belle, pour un 5 etoiles c'est tres bien. l'hotel est pile en face d ela mer et la piscine exterieure aussi!! magnifique coucher de soleil... avec ptit cocktail en terrasse!! Par contre attention aux soins du SPA etant dans le metier il ya des choses d'inscrites mais non faites!! et surtout ne le faites pas en couple car le temps est reduit, tres reduit!! les pourraient etre mieux, a mon avis. Piscine tres peu chauffée et jacuzzi egalement.

Hotellet var rent, pænt og stille og roligt. Jeg synes ikke at "food" standarden levede op til et 5 stjernet hotel. Hverken morgenmad, frokost eller aften. Jeg synes heller ikke at temperaturen i de udendørs pools var høj nok. Vores børn kunne højest være i vandet 5 min. ad gangen. Sammenlignet med standarden i fex. De forenede arabiske emirater eller Egypten, er servicen ved poolområdet og generelt også mindre.

Affacciato sul mare, splendida vista. L'hotel è molto bello Le tre camere con piscina sono situate di fronte alla fermata dell'autobus, ciò rende praticamente impossibile lo stare all'aperto per lo smog. Lo staff della colazione è completamente inefficiente, per portare un caffè, in genere avevamo già finito di fare colazione. Le tende, I lettini della piscina privata, la scaletta della piscina sono sporchi. Al mattino arrivava sempre qualcuno a pulire la piscina privata, scavalcando il muretto dall'esterno senza avvisare, quindi se le tende della camera non erano tirate, vedeva dentro.

Für diesen Preis wirklich tolle Leistung, tolle Lage zum Spazieren nach Rethmyno. Das Personal war serh freundlich Etwas wenig Personal, daher etwas lange Wartezeiten

Staff is efficient, ready to help you. Comfortable room even if phonic insulation could be better. Good location at the end of beach road. Quiet place at 40mn by feet from Rethymno center, the nicest city of Creta. Pleasant private beach. Bus stop (or parking) just front of the room... The view on sea is often a view on bus. Diner is from 7pm to 9pm. Never tested because a non sense in a mediteranean country where evening starts at 9 or 10pm. And no olives available with your drink at bar, a shame for Creta

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.Camera elegante con un arredamento moderno confortevole e pratico. Ottima la colazione, il buffet molto ricco, con prodotti freschi e di buona qualità. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Per chi desidera animazione dal vivo la sera.Dal centro storico dista 2,5Km a piedi. Una bella passeggiata sul lungo mare andata e ritorno.Ottimo hotel da consigliare.

Design de l'hotel sympa, du hall à la chambre. Joli jardin extérieur.Chambres confortables, literie de très bonne qualité, rangements dans les placards, et chevets, balcon avec vue mer latérale. Clim de la chambre très performante. Chambres très bien insonorisées et propres. Plage avec transats gratuits. Piscine agréable. Salle de bain non séparée, peu commode. Pas de gel douche remis au cours du séjour mais plein de shampoing! Beaucoup de vis à vis d'un balcon à l'autre et rien pour faire sécher son maillot! Petit déj buffet varié mais de qualité correcte pour un 5* (cake industriel se certains jours et cookies secs et pas de première jeunesse). Pas de bon réassort du buffet quand vous arrivez à 9h30 (alors que le buffet ferme à 10h). Obligé de donner 30 Euros en caution pour la clé du parking et 10 Euros pas serviette de plage! Personnel peu sympa même si le premier jour, nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux, cela devait être exceptionnel! Jamais de transat de dispo à la piscine après 10h, réservés pour la journée avec les serviettes! Hotel très loin du centre ville (10 minutes en voiture), à pied, au moins 45 minutes, mais en bord de mer.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and well presented. The spa was not up to standard; the pool was tiny and the gym not at all well equipped. There was an extra daily charge of 5 euro for the steam room (which was not working during our visit) and the sauna - this seemed petty. Neither the outdoor or indoor pools seemed to be heated and this prevented us and other guests from making use of them.
