The outdoor reception area nearby the sea and under the Temple of Poseidon is the the perfect choice for gala dinners or weddings.
Aegeon has a restaurant surrounded by glass. There is an outdoor restaurant veranda, with a panoramic view of the Aegeon Sea and the Temple of Poseidon. Enjoy also the beach bar by the sea.
The restaurant is open from April to October.
The "sacred promontory"of Sounio, as Homer called it in his Odyssey, is situated on the south-east edge of the Peninsula of Attica. On the highest point of this isolated cape, are the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon.To the east can be seen Makronessos and further away, the nearest of the Cycladic Islands, Kea.
The town-port of Lavrio, just 9 km away from Sounio, is a very old and interesting town. In the same area is the ancient town of Thorikos with the oldest surviving theatre in Greece.
