Aenaon Villas  

Alexandra, George and Dennis were incredible hosts. Every question was answered with care and every need or want was met beyond expectations. We were even upgraded for free to stay in a slightly larger room which added even more luxury to our visit! The hotel is beautiful beyond words and the pictures do not do it justice for the way we felt during our incredible stay. Do not hesitate to book your holiday here!

The owners, Alexandra and George, are great people who work hard to help you enjoy their beautiful property and Santorini. The staff is friendly and efficient and the property itself... well it is amazing! Come here to get out of the crowds and enjoy the amazing views.

Once you stay here you may be disappointed with the rest of the hotels you book on your trip to the Greek Isles!

Everything was excellent! We stayed at Aenaon Villas only one night on our honey moon, but we will remember about this place all our life and dream to come there again some day. It is the thinnest place on the island so you can enjoy breathtaking sea views at both side. Luxury villas are perfect designed and high level equiped, we stayed at Elidami - the best one! Especially we want to point out high level of service at Aenaon, it is a personal attention to every guest. George and Alexandra, the owners, are so hospitable and kind people, they greet and escort of every guest - thank you for all you did for us! Also we thank Denis and young lady helped us with flowers. We send all of you warm hugs! In our opinion, Aenaon Villas is the best place on Satorini and even in the world, at least one of the best!

Amazing views; accommodations and service. Excellent all the way around.

Aenaon Villas is without a doubt the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The view from the pool area, and the adjoining terrace where you can have breakfast, is literally breathtaking. It is the view that most tourists spend all of their time on Santorini trying to get a decent glimpse of, and instead here you can spend all day lying near the pool and soaking it up. Every single morning when we came around the corner for breakfast we were awestruck by it all over again. The other exceptional thing about this hotel is the staff – the owners George and Alexandra, and Denis. Other reviewers have said it all before, but when reading those reviews I was somewhat hesitant, only because the sort of service some people love is for us sometimes too much, and I’d rather just be left alone. But that is far from the case here – they have managed to strike the very fine balance between being very and genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful, while at the same time in no way being intrusive or over the top. This is by far our favourite European summer holiday destination, and we are already planning our return in summer 2014.

The reception was very friendly, we were welcomed with open arms. We received useful information about Santorini. This was the best place fom every aspect my wife and I stayed at. The accomodation was outstanding, the location was excellent, the view was brethtaking. The place was spotlessly clean, the service was faultless and very freindly. We felt that we stayed with friends. The owners and staff could not do enough for us. The location of the villas was just amazing. We watched the beautiful sunset every night. The design was superb. We would like to return one day and have spoken about our stay to our friends.

If you want to experience a unique, relaxing and quite vacation – this is your choice. This is a place for people who value quality, discrete and want to be away from the crowd, noise and fake comfort. Excellent service, premium personnel attitude, world class management. We are pretty much convinced that this is the best place to be in Santorini.

Our holiday in Santorini was everything we hoped it would be; relaxing, amazing scenary, comfortable and clean accommodation, friendly locals etc. But Aenaon Villas surpassed our hopes and was everything we could have dreamed of. Alexandra and Giorgos and their staff, worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was perfect in every way from the moment we arrived. The accommodation is designed with cool sophistication, the emphasis on natural materials and simple elegance with thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and candles to delight your senses. We enjoyed a wonderfully healthy Greek breakfast every morning looking out over the spectacular caldera, before relaxing by the infinity pool, the discreetly ubiquitous Dennis anticipating our needs and being ready with iced drinks and water melon! Alexandra and Giorgos arranged massages and a boat trip for us as well as a romantic candlelight dinner by the pool on our last evening. As fellow business owners we appreciate the energy, care and attention to detail that they both pour into the Aenaon Villa experience that made this not just a great holiday but a truly magical stay that we will always remember.

We stayed ar Aenaon Villas for 4 nights in mid July 2012. Aenaon Villas is an amazing place. Firstly, Alexandra & George (the owners) are so kind, helpful and generous. They take such pride in their place, know you by first name, always ask how you are going as you walk through the property, will organise anything for you (taxis, restaurants, cruises, car/quad bike hire, massages etc). Secondly, Denis - the porter, waiter, pool cleaner etc - is equally kind and proud. He will fulfill any requests instantly and always walks around with a smile. Thirdly, the location - it is isolated between fira & oia. Therefore, it is so peaceful & you are not disturbed by the hecticness of the towns...all you hear is crows overhead and the breeze rushing by your ears..heaven. Travelling to any of the towns is not a problem even if you don't hire a car / quad bike. It is a 45min to 1 hour cliff top walk to oia (but 2 hours to fira - we only did the oia walk), or there's a bus stop (€1.60 one way) to oia / fira right outside the hotel that comes every 20 min, or one can taxi there (approx €12 to Oia & €15 to fira - we had no issues getting a taxi even though there are only 35 taxis on the island). Finally, the service - absolute luxury. Breakfast includes a choice of cereals, yoghurt, omelette, bread, croissants, pies, fruits, cake etc and you can select to eat it in your villa, on your private veranda or by the caldera (always our choice!). Your room is cleaned and tidied twice a day and they always stock your fridge with several water bottles for free. Denis also brought us fresh fruit each afternoon, whilst we lazed by the pool. There's also the option to order a light lunch (toasted sandwich, Greek salad, penne with fresh tomato sauce etc) or a candlelight dinner (3 course, although we didn't use this option). We booked massages, which they set up on a private part of the patio...overlooking the caldera, whilst getting a massage...absolute heaven!

Our stay was everything we could desire.Magestic postion,breath taking views perched on a ridge with the caldera oneside and the Agean the other.From the moment we booked we were made to feel like we were special. The owners were warm, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.The attention to detail and the simple beauty they created was experienced in every aspect of the villas. Amazon location. Amazing Staff. Amazing Villas. You will be sorry if you do not stay here. Don't think, just book. You will not regret it!

I would recommend this villas for everybody who wants to have a unique experience.It is a little piece of heaven with its wonderful views and amazing setting. Although simply decorated it is oozing of elegance. It is spotless quiet and very peaceful.The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although the place is out of the way, it is not isolated. Taxi are cheap and readily available. The bus stop is opposite the villas. Although buses are not on time more often than not, one would not be annoyed simply because the bus stop is overlooking the sea. Highly recommend and excellent in many ways.

Excelente hotel, con sólo 6 villas exclusivas. La pareja de dueños tratan a los huéspedes como si fuesen de la familia, atendiendo todos los deseos y peticiones, dando consejos para visitas, restaurantes..., Haciendo reservas y siendo muy detallistas. Magnífico desayuno, fruta y vino como detalles de bienvenida, bebidas y fruta o snacks según las preferencias de los huéspedes. Las mejores instalaciones que uno puede esperar y el mejor sitio para disfrutar y relajarse. Sin duda, el mejor hotel de la isla: super recomendable!!!

Wir hatten für 7 Tage das Zimmer Kallisti gebucht und wurden schon vor unserem Urlaub über eine überaus herzliche E-mail Bestätigung über unseren Aufenthalt informiert. Das Taxi wurde auf Wunsch gleich mit organisiert. Bei Ankunft begrüßte uns herzlichst Alexandra & George. Wir wussten, wir sind im Paradies angekommen - eine tolle, exklusive Anlage und herzliche Menschen. Schöner geht´s nicht. üBer den gesammten Zeitraum hatten wir einen unglaublichen Service und jeder Wunsch wurde uns umgehend erfüllt. Zudem wurden wir jeden Tag mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten am Pool überrascht. Mal war es eine Melone, mal ein Frucktcocktail - uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Zum relaxen gibt es keinen besseren Ort auf der Insel, als das Aenaon. Dennis - die gute Seele des Hauses kümmert sich neben Alexandra & George um den besten und professionellsten Service den man sich wünscht. Zum Design möchte ich ebenfalls noch ein paar Worte verlieren. Alles ist luftig, hell und strahlt in Weiß und Naturtönen. Farbe und Textur kreieren Innen wie Außen eine absolute Entspanntheit und wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail umgesetzt. Die Anlage passt sich perfekt in die archaische Landschaft an. Die Zimmer/Häuser sind sehr, sehr sauber und auch hier gibt es an der Stelle ein dickes Lob! Fazit: Für uns war es ein unvergessliches Erlebnis bei Alexandra & George Gast sein zu dürfen und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 5* Sterne-Kategorie sind von uns gegeben.

La posizione in cui si trova è spettacolare. Considerato che le villas sono poche, spesso io e mio marito ci siamo ritrovati con la piscina a nostra disposizione quasi fosse una casa privata. Il posto ideale dove ritornare dopo un giro per l'affollatissima Santorini. Lo staff è gentilissimo e disponibilissimo, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Le camere sono molto pulite ed accoglienti. Un posto incantevole con un panorama mozzafiato.

O estar fora da cidade é uma mais valia mas há que ter carro para chegar.

Останавливались в отеле на 2 дня на время нашей свадьбы. Сказать, что остались довольны - ничего не сказать. Роскошный вид, закаты, изумительный бассейн с видом на море прямо на обрыве, очень внимательный персонал, сервис, завтраки - все супер. Чудесные хозяева Александра и ее муж сделали все, чтобы наш мини-отдых прошел отлично.

Need to have a car. Otherwise, it is not close to the center of Oia.

La situation de l'hotel est magnifique, l'accueil très chaleureux et personnalisé, les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût dans un esprit à la fois simple "cycladique" et design, le personnel était aux petits soins. Nous avons adoré ! La vue est spectaculaire et les propriétaires font tout pour que les clients en profitent un maximum. C'est très réussi.Nous nous souviendrons de leur gentillesse.

Juste deux petits points : la piscine est un peu petite et il n'y avait pas de separation dans notre chambre entre ll'espace lit et l'espace sdb/toilettes. Les toilettes meriteraient une cloison!

In short ,Perfect! The villa itself indeed is a piece of art! The swimming pool is warm and clean, with a very good cliff view! The land lords, Geroge and Alexandra are so nice and kind. They are so friendly and we really enjoyed and appreciated every moment there!! We wish that we could had stayed longer at Aenaon Villas.
