located in the center of Oia

They promise to provide a room with a good balcony view and the room that we got had an extremely narrow balcony in which we could not have any privacy or place to place a chair. We paid extra for that balcony and did not get anything close to what was in the web site.

We were very lucky and managed to receive a room upgrade! Lady at reception (Alice?) was very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast could be improved. We were quite surprised by it as Aethrio comes across as a luxury boutique hotel.

The location was great (close enough to easily carry your luggage from a taxi), the pool was glorious. The hotel had endless character. The staff was great. I absolutely loved it and will return!

I would have liked a scrambled egg option for breakfast. That was the only disappointment.

I like the hotel design and location.

The hotel has a very beautiful commun area, a very nice swimming pool, a nice terrace with a view to the sunset, and is very well located in Oia. The rooms are big and calm. The reception gives good directions and informations to visit the island.

The rooms are dark, and the one we had, the bathroom was in a cave and it smelled really bad, the smell would spread to the whole room, really unpleasant. We asked the staff if they could change us to another room and they said they were full, considering our stay was for four days. The breakfast is very poor, and repetitive. You really don t get the services, amenities, and rooms structures that you expect for the price paied. The breakfast is from 8h30am untill 10am, and receptions closes at 8h30pm.

Great location. Very rustic. The suite was enormous and had great outdoor space and lovely views (although not of the caldera).

Quite expensive but when compared to others in Oia I suppose its is reasonable. Very poor breakfast in terms of variety and quantity. Breakfast finished at 10am - too early! They continually ran out of breakfast items (eggs and greek yoghurt) and did not replace them. Pool furniture consisted of a few comfortable sun loungers and lots of hard plastic ones which would not tilt. We used some glasses for drinks and the cleaners did not clean or replace them - they left the dirty glasses in the room.

I liked that the hotel had a pool and a sunset terrace. They were able to change our hotel room after we were displeased with the first room they gave to us which was dark, unwelcoming and cave-like room. I like that they offered us a small bottle of wine on our welcome. They told us it was complimentary because we were on our honeymoon however every person we saw check in to the hotel received one too!

The people at the desk were not very friendly or helpful. The hotel was way overpriced for the amenities and services they include. The breakfast was horrible, canned fruit, packaged meats and stale bread. Our toilet was broken for a day and a half. We were on our honeymoon and very happy to leave this hotel after 3 nights and find somewhere else to stay.

Aethrio was a slice of heaven! The double room we had was very large with a sofa and big cabinet/dresser. The bathroom was modern and clean. The hotel itself was splendid, atmospheric, and all the rooms appeared to have private balconies. The rooftop patio had fantastic views with sea on either side including view of the beautiful sunset of Santorini. The owner was very kind and helpful. Altogether this hotel is great value for money.

The hotel front desk closed by 8:30 p.m. which is just about the time you want to order a drink before catching the sunset. Otherwise we have no other complaints!

I loved the location, the rooms were spacious and beautiful. Had a balcony with view of the sea. Great swimming pool.

Dès la réservation sur Booking.com , Alice nous a envoyé un mail de confirmation. Sur place : accueil très sympa, belle piscine, terrasse avec vue magnifique, très bon petit déjeuner... en plus l'hôtel est très bien situé dans Oia. L'hôtel conseille quelques lieux à visiter et quelques bonnes adresses de restaurant. Nous le recommandons vraiment. Merci encore à Alice pour son accueil!

la responsable qui a été adorable et efficace. Nous sommes arrivés avec un jour de retard (par erreur nous avions accosté à Anaphi à la place de Santorin) et cette jeune femme française a tout mis en oeuvre pour tout arranger ( chambre et location de voiture).. Nous la remertcions aussi pour sa probité de ne pas avoir débité la nuit en question.A recommander, il est notemment rare de trouver, en Grèce, un accueil en français!
