Caldera view, breakfast on our balcony, great service.

Bathroom was small and dark with a basic shower, tv could have had more options, wish there was better internet.

Great views and location Excellent receptionists

Far too soft beds We had a suite with three (!) roof terraces.. But no umbrella for shade, no shade at all. When asked for one we had no as reply over and again. The reason to stay us the location and views.. But with 35C+ and full exposure to sun one cannot enjoy the views at all unfortunately.. It's also overpriced. Way over priced.

A beautiful hotel. Can't fault it in anyway. Staff were so friendly & would do anything they could to help. The room was beautiful & definitely eat at the restaurant best food we have eaten in a very long time

I loved everything the only thing I disliked was having to leave.

Loved the location All the staff, except one, were fantastic, evening receptionist needs to practice smiling. Breakfast fantasitc

Pictures from Web where an exception not a rule for all rooms Bathroom, unventilated and fittings rusty. Ants and lots of them in the wet areas. Airconditioner did not work, told it would be fixed a 2pm repair man repairman turned up at 10pm, no communication from desk to say it had been fixed.

1)Pool Because the pool was too small and next to the restaurant, who can go and enjoy the pool even it has no sea view? 2)Breakfast It would be much better if we could have open buffet. We had to choose from their menu, and there are not so many options. 3)View They put suite room pictures for regular room too, so we disappointed very much.

All the staff members were very friendly and accommodating, showing an interest in what plans we had. The location of the accommodation was excellent with a short walk to the town centre, bus station and restaurants and shopping.

Stunning views Excellent, responsive and helpful staff. Convenient for town and buses/taxis to rest of island Cool rooms Food

Pool is a plunge pool say 4/5 metres - not really a swimming pool TV three channels in all, one British (BBC World news) which was very "snowy" - but who needs TV on holiday? No shower curtain/screen in our room - so kneel in bath or stand and wet rest of room Dangerously hot water; easily scalding for adults; very dangerous for small children.

A truly very nice hotel, where we enjoyed a lot our stay. I have read the reviews before booking but honestly the reality was even better.. We have been upgraded with a very fair amount of money and Yowakim and Nicolas were amazing helpful people there! Loveliest breakfast with an outstanding view (specially if u are I the upper levels of the hotel) Amazingly located in Fira.

It is more an old monastery transformed to an hotel, so expect a domed rooms not a modern new style hotel, eventhough for me it was a plus!

    Kindness, although unprofessional, staff

It is not a Five Stars Hotels, and it is absurdly overpriced

We stayed at Aigialos in the Voreas house for one night in July, and wished we could have stayed for longer. The view from our balcony was stunning, the house itself was beautifully furnished in a traditional fashion, with two bedrooms, two (small) bathrooms, a kitchenette and a living area. We had our dinner and breakfast served on the verandah and couldn't have spent a more perfect last night in Greece. We overlooked the oldest church in Santorini and the house itself was part of the monastery, so if you are interested in the historical and cultural aspects of the island, this is a perfect place to really experience the atmosphere. The staff and service were excellent.

The only negative - a small point which didn't really detract from the experience - is that the walking track runs past the bedroom windows. Fortunately, being at the far end of Fira, it is not too busy, but we were woken a couple of times by some noisy groups.
