Pretty hotel, friendly staff and great location

The buildilg, a century old neoclassical, its revovation, the decoration of the room, its spaciousness the modern amenirties and confort.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were nice. Because it was our honeymoon, they gave us the best room in the hotel and had fresh homemade cookies and flowers in our room.

We stayed at Room No.1 For 5 days. I have never given excellent to all six aspects for another hotel before. The Hotel is situated right in the center of Chora, making it ideal for excursions during the day and relaxed promenades and food/drinks during the night. Breakfast we did not take in the Hotel as we were preferring the shops around the area, mainly in the square (2 minutes walk). It is a freshly renovated Hotel, not missing a thing. Internet is more than adequate and room size very satisfactory. People are very polite and cleanliness is exemplary on all spaces. The value for money is the best I've experienced. This is Hotel is perfect for experiencing Andros, relaxing, shopping and having fun at the same time. It is not intended nor fit for staying all day in the hotel doing nothing type of vacation.

The parking maybe an issue to someone, although this may not be blamed to the Hotel. After all we were riding motorcycles.

It is in a central location near to restaurants and local shops. Very helpful staff and very clean.

Bella camera in un edificio di inizio secolo. Tutte le camere e i bagni sono stati rinnovati di recente, tutto pulitissimo. La famiglia che gestisce l'albergo è disponibile, l'atmosfera quasi da Bred & breakfast.

΄ολα. η θέση του ξενοδοχείου, το κτίριο (εξωτερικά και εσωτερικά), τα δωμάτια, η εξυπηρέτηση, όλα ήταν καταπληκτικά και σε πολύ ικανοποιητική τιμή.

Tout! Situé dans une maison traditionnelle, la chambre était superbe, joliment décorée, confortable avec en plus un coin salon avec télé. La salle de bain proposait une baignoire, séche-cheveux et même un pèse personne! Les chambres sont nettoyées tous les jours et sont très propres! Le couple tenant l'établissement, Mme Harikleia et M. Yannis, était justes adorables, très accueillants, toujours de bonne humeur (on a beaucoup discutés ensemble et M.Yannis ne manque certainement pas d'humour) et disponibles pour leurs clients. Mme Harikleia est totalement dévouée aux visiteurs et met un point d'honneur à préparer des petits déjeuner copieux (biscottes, pain frais, confiture maison, jambon, fromage, oeuf, cake, yaourt à la grecque avec miel, jus d'orange, café, etc.) et bien entendu à volonté! Bref, je ne peux que conseiller ce petit hôtel (9 chambres) situé en plein coeur de la capitale d'Andros, à moins de 5 minutes des taxis et des bus menant vers les plages et autres villages de l'île et à 10 minutes à pieds de la grande plage de Nimborio. Etant grecque d'origine, je connais très bien la qualité des "hôtels" grecs...et là, je ne peux que reconnaître la qualité de l'établissement! Un grand merci à nos hôtes de nous avoir si bien reçus.

Una volta arrivati al porto di Gavrio bastano 40 minuti circa di pullman per raggiungere l'hotel che si trova sulla via principale della cittadina di Andros, piena di negozi e ristoranti nei quali a mancare non è certo l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il massimo che abbiamo speso per una cena in due è stato 32 euro... E assicuro che non ci siamo fatti mancare nulla! Per quanto riguarda l'hotel non abbiamo nulla di negativo da dire. Il personale è davvero gentilissimo, soprattutto la proprietaria che è particolarmente attenta e premurosa su ogni cosa. E' stata lei a prenotarci e farci trovare direttamente sotto l'albergo uno scooter per girare l'isola, si è occupata di noleggiarci una barca per raggiungere le spiagge piu' belle e consigliato I ristoranti migliori... Bastava chiedere semplici informazioni e lei si mobilitava per aiutarci! Davvero efficiente e disponibile! Non è da tralasciare la cura che lei stessa metteva nel riordinare la stanza (tra l'altro molto spaziosa e fornita di tutto!) e farci trovare sempre tutto perfetto... Insomma la proprietaria è impeccabile! Un valore aggiunto è sicuramente il fatto che l'hotel è completamente riustrutturato ed è in una posizione comodissima per qualsisi tipo di bisogno... è vicinissimo a bar e ristoranti per passare una piacevole serata, ha vicino una banca,un piccolo supermercato,un tabacchi, una farmacia e anche la fermata del pullman per tornare al porto. E' solo a pochi minuti di scooter dal mare (per intenderci...non puoi scendere in spiaggia a piedi in 1 minuto) ma posso assicurare che questo conta davvero poco perchè Andros è tanto piccola quanto bella e va quindi visitata tutta.... Per noleggiare uno scooter per una settimana bastano 120 euro e riesci a vedere una o due spiaggie al giorno una più bella e diversa dall'altra. Insomma sia all'isola che all'albergo diamo un 10 e lode!

Πολύ ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί, σε άριστη τοποθεσία, πολύ καθαρό και άνετο, κανένα πααράπονο.

το πρωινό: ικανοποιητικό μεν για μία ημέρα, αλλά επειδή δεν υπάρχουν επιλογές θα ήταν μονότονο από 2 και πάνω. Θα ήθελα περισσότερη ποικιλία εφόσον και η τιμή του (8 Ε/άτομο) είναι αρκετά τσουχτερή το πολύ στενό δωμάτιο η παντελής έλλειψη θέας (1ος όροφος). Επειδή έχω κάνει και άλλες κρατήσεις με το booking, αρχίζω να πιστεύω ότι οι καλύτερες επιλογές δεν δίδονται σε αυτή την εταιρεία, παρόλη την κράτηση εβδομάδες πριν!! οι πολύ λεπτοί τοίχοι (κυριολεκτικά ακούς τα πάντα)

De familie die het hotel beheert is uiterst vriendelijk. Het hotel is gevestigd in een mooi oud pand in het hoofdstadje van Àndros in een prachtige omgeving voor natuurliefhebbers en wandelaars.

Ειναι δυσάρεστη έκπληξη το πρωί της Κυριακής να ξυπνάς με τον εκωφαντικό ήχο της καμπάνας η οποία βρίσκεται ακριβώς απέναντι σε απόσταση 3μέτρων! 7:00 το πρωι!!!! Λιγότερο ενοχλητικό ήταν η μουσική που ακουγόταν από τον πεζόδρομο μέχρι τις 3 το πρωι. Σίγουρα θέλει κλειστά παράθυρα.

We are a young couple living in Germany and just visited the island of Andros for the first time. Our stay in Aegli was fantastic and we would repeat anytime in the future. The hotels itself lies in the middle of the old town next to the main church of the city. It is an old house (previously a wealthy mansion) that has been active as a hotel since the 50s and has just been completely renovated and refurbished with a lot of love for the details. The standard of the rooms is closer to 5 than to 3 stars and that even with the eyes of experienced German travelers. The service offered by the family of the owners though is what makes the true difference. They will not stop short of anything you would like to have reviving greek traditional hospitality in its very best way, something you think Greeks tend to loose in modern times, well go visit this place and you will "find" it again... The island of Andros and especially the old capital are true jewels. Only 2h with the ship from mainland and then in 45 minutes you are within a neoclassic dream that has been renovated and maintained with moneys of the shipping tycoon families Goulandris and Empeirikos but also with the love of people like the owners of Aegli. Do not forget to visit the worldwide famous museum of modern art of Andros (Goulandris foundation) walk around the pedestrian zone of the old city and enjoy the walks to the mountains as well as drives through picturesque villages and ancient sites and the sunset in Batsi. Andros is an all time classic for all seasons of the year (recommending October-June) if you want to enjoy silence and Aegli is the place to be...

Superb welcome with patron sat outside looking out for my arrival. Unsurpassable location, friendly and charming hospitality with lofty elegant comfortable rooms.

Breakfast room was slightly cheerless.

Οι ιδιοκτήτες του ξενοχείου ήταν καταπληκτικοί. Έκαναν τη διαμονή μας πραγματικά αξέχαστη!
