Great place to be! Nice, well equipped with a beautiful design...excellent location, runned by local family Giorgios, the owner is a very nice person and Astro, the hotel's pet, brings charm and coziness to the environment I highly recommend it!!!

We only stayed at Akti for 2 nights, but the staff went out of their way to help us during our stay. My boyfriend had caught the flu and ended up with a perforated eardrum and spent his whole stay in bed. The owner sent up a delicious lunch, soup and wine to our room from his own kitchen, and generally just helped us out. It was a great experience!

Akti is the perfect hotel if you want to spend some time in Nafpaktos and visit mountainous Nafpaktia as well. In front of the beach and very near the lovely port it offers spacious and comfortable rooms. Upon arrival we were kindly offered two rooms to choose from - they were different but both really nice and furnished with care. The service was excellent and the breakfast -served at the table - more than satisfactory. All and all a hotel to be recommended .

Location by the sea, and a short distance - 5 mins on foot - from the centre. Standard of rooms, we were upgraded to a roof-top suite, was excellent, as was the dining and the attentiveness of the staff.

The decor was very interesting, the staff were very friendly, the location was great and we had a beautiful room. The staff offered us a choice of two different rooms and we chose the nicest and largest one at no additional cost. The breakfast just kept coming! It was fantastic and the waiting staff were very attentive! This was probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Greece so far. I very much enjoyed our stay.

The styling, appointments, cleanness and view from the room's verandah, were all magnificent, the owmers and the staff extremely friendly and helpfull, the breakfast served in huge quantity, enough to cover a missed brunch and a badly overdue meal and of very high quality ingredients (the best coffee I've ever been served in a hotel). The hotel is located at the end of the bussiness part of the town and this may give you misgivings about noises beeing disturbing during certain parts of the day,but it never materialized. The furniture in the breakfast hall and lounge is something to behold. All in all, a magnificent experience, if you subscribe to quality and not simply mindless and soulless luxury .

Nothing not to like, in all aspects pertaining to a hotel of this type. Complaints, if at all, should arise only on purely subjective,detail individual preferences, basis.

Wonderful hotel with great rooms and special design of each room. A great place to stay, but the beaches in Nafpaktos are not the best in Greece - they are gravel beaches - not sand. Nice city, but very small

The triple room was wonderful and the view splendid. The breakfast was served, which is nice, but I prefer the buffet style. Except in one case the members of the staff were very nice and helpful.

A member of the staff, a man in the late afternoon, was really not nice and even rude.

I stayed here for four nights in July. I was so impressed, firstly by the friendly welcome I received when I walked through the front door, then by the fact that I was offered a choice of rooms, and finally by the fact that I was told my stay would be 40 Euros cheaper than I had expected! I don't know the reason for the reduction, but they didn't have to tell me about it. I would have been none the wiser, and had no problem with the original price. My room was clean and quite spacious, with a pleasant balcony looking down onto the little square in front of the hotel and the beach 50 metres away. A spotlessly clean dressing gown was provided and towels changed daily. The hotel staff, I think all members of the same family, were so friendly and helpful, always pleased to give advice, find information, recommend places to see, help out in any way they could etc. The breakfast was pretty gargantuan, with a wide choice - I never managed to eat it all! The shower room in my room was a little bit small, but overall I was extremely impressed. The hotel has great character, with quite unusual, quirky decor, artworks and unusual ornaments everywhere. Hard to believe it's only two star rated, as it really is quite an exceptional hotel for the price. Highly recommended.

A very well located hotel, with good management.

The hotel staff were extremely pleasant. We have been upgraded to two suites, which were superb. They even allowed us to use the hotel portable pc in our room for the evening. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of food. The location is great, right on the beach. Nafpaktos is a charming town, with many greek families in holidays and , when we went, not a whole lot of tourists.

Akti far exceeded our expectations on every level. It is one of the most delightful and well designed hotels ever, with comfortable and tasteful rooms, beautiful balcony views of this commercially unspoilt seaside town, and a breakfast that was memorable for its generosity and quality. The staff were very friendly and caring, and the wifi actually worked! Lots of other nice touches, too--like bathrobes, a great shower, etc. It was ike a 5 star hotel without being pretentious or expensive--bravo!!! We would go back at any point, and all agreed that we wished we could have stayed there much longer. . .If you go, ask for one of the 4th floor suites--gorgeous!

This hotel is excellent and amazingly good value. Rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable, have very interesting decor and well appointed. Staff are very helpful and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are exceptional and public rooms are very comfortable and decorated and furnished with great care. We would recommend this hotel as being exceptional and would be delighted to return again, and again. The location is very good, just by the sea and near to lots of restaurants. What more can you want.

This hotel was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were friendly and helpful the rrom was exquisite- felt more like a suite and had a sea view ( top flloor). The breakfast was the best we had in the 4 hotels stayed in. I would definitely book again and will be telling all my friends about our wonderful stay.
