Albatros Spa & Resort Hotel  

The hotel is very nice, and the location is just perfect : slightly out of the center of town to get rid of the noise of the street and the bars, but still close enough, and very close to the beach. The rooms are very nice and cleaned every day. I suggest taking a superior room as the standard rooms are in the old building and look a little less nice. The facilities are very nice : swimming pool (with a lot of chairs), fitness center, massage center, bar, spa, ... And most are included in the price (massage excluded). If you have the meals included, the buffet is really nice, and changes a little everyday. I would still suggest to take only the breakfast as the restaurant in the vicinity are very nice. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help and fulfill any of your needs.

The first impression is not very good as the reception is in the old building, but don't let yourself worry as this is quickly dissipated when you see the new buildings. The neighborhood when coming late at night does not seem so nice either, but this is only an impression, and once you are on the opposite side of the entrance and close to the beach it is very nice. The cleaning ladies will come at anytime to do the room, so you should put the "do not disturb" sign if you want to have your room when you come back from the breakfast. More a surprise than something we did not like was our test of the Daphné restaurant. Be aware that it is a single menu (no choice), and that it is rather big quantities. But it is very good and very nicely served. Only opened Tuesday and Friday. The only thing that bothered us a little was the shower spray which was too strong, but not enough to make the staff change it (though they were ready to do it).

Personell

staff was extremely pleasant and helpful nice programs at night: lobster night, brazilian show,... hotel is alive!

i specifically asked for double bed and not two single beds attached i still did get two atatched beds... other than this, all was great!

It's very close to the sea and to the street bar , 5 minust walking. The staff was very very nice. Not to fanssy but it's very good. You shuld take this hotel , I probably take it back when I will came to hersonissos next year.

Les chambres sont magnifiques et très confortables! Le design de l'hôtel est très moderne et agréable. Nous y sommes allés en Septembre donc il n'y avait pas trop de monde. Le personnel du Spa n'est pas très accueillant mais les prix sont intéressants! Un hôtel parfait pour un séjour de détente et de découverte de la région du nord de la Crète!

Le personnel du Spa n'était pas très aimable. Les chambres ne sont pas bien insonorises et on entend malheureusement les bébés pleurer ou les fêtards crier! La plage n'est pas loin mais ça n'est pas la plus belle... Il vaut mieux avoir une voiture pour explorer les alentours. Hernossisos est une ville très touristique, parfaite pour faire la fête mais il est difficile de trouver un périt resto romantique au calme! De très belles vacances malgré ces petits inconvénients!

Мы жили в новом улучшенном корпусе. Номер просторный, обставленный в современном стиле типа хай-тек. Все в номере новое. Просторный балкон. В отеле по вечерам проводятся шоу. В целом отель приятный. Утром неплохие завтраки. Проблем с парковкой возле отеля нет. Находится поблизости от основным развлечений и ресторанов городка.

Не понравился пляж - при входе каменистый выступ, заметны морские ежи. Поэтому люди из нескольких отелей скучиваются на одной части пляжа, где вход получьше, но довольно тесно.

The food variety at breakfast wasn't that wide, the line was slowly refilled. didn't like the attitude of the receptionist

Jag har rest i Grekiska ö-världen de senaste 20 åren. Detta hotellet är absolut det bästa som jag besökt hittills. Personalen och servicen var helt outstanding. Bästa möjliga service och underbar personal. Toppenfint rum (superior) lyxigt och otroligt rent och fint. Långt över förväntningarna. Kommer absolut att resa tillbaka och jag kommer defenitivt att rekommendera detta underbara hotell till alla mina vänner som tänker besöka Hersonissos. Varma hälsningar Annika
