Alex Beach Hotel & Bungalows    

Our stay at Alex Beach was wonderful. It caters mostly to Germans, but we had no problems communicating with anyone. Everyone we spoke with knew English, or enough. Everything was clean, the rooms, the pool, the dining areas, etc. The food was very good. We didn't like everything on the buffets, but there was always a few really good dishes. The food was mostly Greek/Mediterranean with some German cuisine. The drinks were fair, too. The red wine was okay, and the beer pretty decent. The coctails varied, and were pretty strong, a plus to some people. Free wifi in the lobby area was decent. Good for checking email and webpages, but not so good for certain apps. The kids group does activities twice a day, every day but Saturday for about 2 1/2 hours each time block, and it's up to the caretakers if they'll take English speaking kids. Our kids spent some time with them, and enjoyed all of the activities.

The beds were a little firm. Could easily hear our neighbors and outside, however people were courteous and weren't too loud at night. The TV signal was kind of weak, so it would go from normal to static then back to normal. Wasn't a big issue since we had games for the kids at night.

We have stayed at the Alex Beach Hotel for a week and I must say that it was a great time! The food was delicious and served in the attractive way. There was a great selection of the meals and what was really great, there were plenty of traditional Greek’s dishes. There was a wide range of drinks too. The planes were not disturbing at all and the ‘Animation Group’ was doing their best to attract guests. The service and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

From the things that were annoying was that people (guests) tent to reserve the sun beds early in the mornings (by putting on them towels) even thought they were not present at the pools or beach for most of the day.

If you are looking for a quite place, which is located aside from the city's noise. Place which has a peaceful beach and a clean pool, This hotel might be perfectly suitable your needs. The hotel has simple and very comfort design, the rooms are just fine for 3 people. We took "All inclusive" package, and it was very convenient, the drinks and snacks are always there (at the beach / pool area) so you are ever not being hungry. The food is just fine, not a Micheline restaurant, but more than enough for a good breakfast/lunch/dinner. The hotel's staff is very welcomed and always willing to help, as it was already mentioned, the pool is very clean (both of them) and due to it's size, it seems that it always empty. There is an internet at the lobby (only).

The Shampoo and Body lotion/soap are not provided - bring your own cause the prices in outside store are much more expensive than in regular super market. The beach towels are distributed only 30min a day (1p.m to 1:30 p.m) so if you arrive after this time (like we did) no towels for you until the next day...

The hotel is very nice and is located in a very convenient place, right near to the Airport. Even though there are many planes passing by, it doesn't distract as much. All the food which is provided is very tasty. There is always unlimited source of food, for very hungry people :) All the members of staff are friendly and helpful, especially Anastasia and the main manager, who helped us to deal with our personal problem. Amazing choice for a nice family holiday.

No wifi connection in the rooms, however there is one hotspot near the reception, but the signal is also not that good.

It's not the Hilton, but if you're looking for a good pool and decent beaches on a budget, and if you don't mind kids, it's great. The staff was excellent, the place is older but clean and as long as you're not looking for luxury it's a great resort. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, all the meals were good. Next time we will take our kids, they would have loved it.

Nice place and have everything we needed. We don't speak germany and most of the things were to germanys. We enjoy the hotell and good service also.

Airplains were noicy. We hope to have some english program and guiding.

Ein Hotel in privater Hand - sehr gut geführt - sehr freundliches Personal. Eine sehr gepflegte, große Anlage. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern, schöne Poollandschaften, Kinderspielplatz, gepflegter Strandbereich (Kiesel), gutes Essen vom Buffet. Die Nähe zum Flughafen stört absolut nicht - wir würden dieses Hotel gerne wieder buchen.

Alles war in Ordnung!

Мы останавливались в Alex beach в мае 2013 года. Отель очень понравился. Территория красивая и зеленая, ухоженная, гармоничная и достаточно большая. Персонал дружелюбный гостеприимный. Питание разнообразное и вкусное, а на ужин, как правило, есть особенный деликатес. Анимация на высоком уровне и хорошо продумана для взрослых и особенно для детей. Есть большие зеленые лужайки, и мини аква-парк. Мы провели прекрасное время в этом отеле.

Слышен гул близко взлетающих самолетов. Пляж галечный, входить в море босиком не очень удобно.

非常非常喜欢这家酒店！首先，该酒店位于海边，有自己的私家海滩；设施非常好，有两个游泳池，还带滑滑梯，- 可供孩子水上娱乐！而大人则可以在泳池边或者- 海滩边享受阳光沐浴；房间特别舒服，有点像Townhouse联排别墅。拉开落地窗，直接穿越草坪到泳池；- 早餐丰富，晚餐丰盛；餐厅工作人员亲切、专业- ，更钦佩他们以酒店为骄傲的那种感觉。孩子超级喜欢，我们也觉得非常舒服。只可惜只住了一晚。。。

呃，交通方面，不提供机场接送。打车需13欧元。不过也有公交车可以到机场和罗得古城，酒店提供公交时刻表- 。 前台有位工作人员，处理问题一根筋。我们- 想去趟蝴蝶谷（没有任何公交可到），让帮忙叫辆车，该同志倒是很负责，打了N多个电话，结果非说impos- sible从机场叫车过来。我们只好先坐公交- 去机场，再打车。的士司机听了只摇头，说是完全possible啊。 还有一点：房间里wifi连不上。

Mancava l'aria condizionata nella hall con 40 gradi!! I lettini in spiaggia non sono sufficienti per tutti gli ospiti. L'hotel è vicino ad una fabbrica con ciminiera visibile dalla spiaggia.

Great location, pretty good food and selection. Eating by the water was lovely. Best couple getaway my husband and I have had. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here without our 3 young kids. Even though there were several families there with lots o young children we still had a relaxing vacation.

Le personnel n'est pas hyper sympa.

Comfortable, tidy and quiet hotel. The hotel is accessible for families. Delicious food.
