Agistri is famous for its fresh produce: fish, octopus, squid, home produced meat and seasonal vegetables. Alexandra’s taverna has been run a family-run restaurant for many generations. A wealth of recipes has passed between family hands so you can experience the delights of Greek cuisine. If your tastes are inclined to more familiar dishes, these too are catered for within the taverna’s wide ranging menu.
The taverna is based within the hotel with a sea view across the hotel’s private beach. During the day you can enjoy your lunch, drinks and snacks without having to leave the beach! During the night you can eat your meal accompanied by the twinkling stars and sparkling lights from distant neighbouring islands.
To better enable you to manage your holiday budget, Alexandra’s taverna offers a 5% discount to the guests of its hotel.
Agistri is situated less than an hour from the Athens port of Piraeus. Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat or a party place, Agistri is exceptional because here you will find both yet neither will interfere with the other.
The island, the smallest of the Saronic Gulf group of islands, which include Poros, Hydra, Spetses and Agistri’s nearest neighbour, Aegina, boasts a wide range of activities. The many beaches around the island range from those perfectly safe for little ones to get to grips with swimming to those for visitors who prefer more challenging waters.
The pine clad hills with their wild herbs and flowers send an array of wonderful fragrances throughout Agistri. Clearly signposted, hikers will enjoy crossing the hills and happening upon the unspoilt village of Limenaria.
If eating is your pleasure, you will be delighted with the fresh produce which is served throughout the tavernas of the island. Do not worry about your children’s varied tastes; they will be catered for with menus which embrace local recipes with more international dishes.

Το κτίριο ήταν καινούργιο και τα παντα ήταν πολύ κοντά κατάλληλο δηλαδή για οικογένεια. Ωστόσο θα πρέπει το ξενοδοχείο να αποκτήσει στόχευση δηλαδή να στοχεύει σε οικογένειες ή σε νεους αποκλειστικά
Kατα την γνώμη μου θα πρέπει να αναπτύξει δραστηριότητες, σε συνεργασία και με τα λοιπά ξενοδοχεια, ώστε να καθαρίζεται η παραλία που βρίσκεται μπροστα σε αυτά. Η κατάσταση της παραλίας ήταν άθλια και αδικεί τις δυνατότητες καιτην εικόνα του νησιού.
