Alexandra Hotel    

The staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. They offered good travel suggestions. We found the location very convenient and close to the old town.

Good location and friendly staff. Penthouse suite is perfect for a family and great views of the harbour.

It would have been nice to have been told that the pool and jacuzzi would both be closed. They are one of the reasons why we booked the Alexandra.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable.The view was very beautiful.The receptionist was very kind.

Its location is excellent. The hotel is one block behind the harbour and a few minutes walk to the central square . In other words , you couldnt find a better location in Kos town

The only negative point was that the swimming pool was empty but, in their defence it was November so the water would have being too cold anyway

The room was clean, large and comfortable. The view was very good and relaxing. The workers were very charming. The location is excellent. The price was very low. The bed was extremely comfortable.

No minibar in the room.

The hotel's location was great, just walking distance from port and also Kos Center. Easy access to restaurants & shops. Rooms are spacious and have nice view of the port. Breakfast was good & sufficient.

The room had very poor lighting. WiFi was not working the first 2 days and hotel staff did not know what to do. There were a lot of brown/black-outs during a rainy night (which was good cuz it reset the routers and then we had WiFi. Pool was indoor, tiny and not sunny. Rooms could've been cleaner. Breakfast was a joke- toasts are not breakfast!

- Staff were very helpful - Quiet hotel - Great location (2 minute walk to the market/town centre) - Bed was comfortable and room had plenty of space (Keeping in mind the opinion you get what you pay for) - Breakfast was standard, nothing good or bad (My general experience around greater europe is that this is a good thing)

- Lifts were small. But I should use stairs anyway :-) - The spa was not operating - The pool area is fairly small - Car parking would be difficult None of this posed a problem to me though I thought it would be good to note.

Lack of air conditioning in Lobby/Lounge during hot weather. No newspapers available in Lobby/Lounge. Overfurnished Lobby/Lounge. Poor lighting in room. Poor room layout (desk chair clashes with bed). Room safe placed above eye level, hard to use. Limited tv programs, poor reception.

A beautiful view the late check out rate available a large room equipped with a mini kitchen

Be sure that the receptionist is informed about the late check out rate chosen ... otherwise she is always repeating that the check out time is at 12:00...

Excellent location and a good seaview. The rooms were very clean. You are at the center of Eleftherias Square. At night you can go wherever you want for a drink and go back to the hotel on foot in minutes.

The hotel is located within 1 minute walking time to the city centre. This is great. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hotel over all was ok, however it did not come to a small price. We stayed to other 2 hotels during this holiday and though they were not classified as 4 stars (like Alexandra) they were much cheaper offering only a bit less facilities or service. So, Alexandra is good but in comparison to other hotels on the island, probably a bit over priced.

The swimming pool was rather disappointing.It was noticed that the hotel was doing cost cuts in the room service, for example the sheets were not changed over the 3 nights we stayed and the towels were changed only after our demand. The free hotel shampoos were not replaced (probably after they saw that we had our own). From a 4 star hotel I would expect such things to be taken care off.

Everybody was friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful, which suited us very well. Just right!

Stayed in the penthouse suit very large excellent value, fantastic views of the harbour bay huge terrace area with sun loungers, outdoor furniture etc.

Air con noisy and not too effective but too be fair if I had complained the hotel would have resolved it I am sure.
