Alexandros Mykonos

Initially I was attracted to "Alexandros Mykonos" by the unique, creative and appealing design of the rooms and external courtyard(on the internet). The design,and visual appeal of the rooms depicted the culture of Mykonos,and the Mediterianian perfectly. In a word the accomodation was "fantastic",and the proprietors were just "AWESOME". The nicest,most friendly,helpful people I have ever come across. "Alexandros" and "Katarina" made our Mykonos holiday the most memorable place ,within our travels through-out Europe over six weeks.They were there at all times to answer any queries/questions, gave advice on how to hire 4wd Ag Bikes,and arranged it all for a super price.These motorbikes made the holiday exciting and easy,being only a short ride back to tranquil "Alexandros Mykonos"to escape the hussle and busy town centre each day. The position of the accomodation was beautiful,and peaceful ,and within easy reach to all the stunning beaches,and tourist attractions reccomended by "Alexandros". The rooms were spotless,the air conditioning was modern and worked well,and beds and bathrooms excellent. The proprietors "Alexandros" and 'Katarina" have built every unique room within the complex with passion ,thought, and creative flair. At the end of our stay we were taken to the airport as a courtesy by "Alexandros and Katarina" in their modern,spacious van. At the airport it was like saying goodbye to family. "It was actually very sad to leave them". Do yourself a favour,dont look anywhere else,as "Alexandros Mykonos" is No.1. I cant wait to return and stay with them again. The owners pick you up at the port. It's a very friendly family! The appartements themselves are beautiful and well occupied! It's outside Mykonos city but there's a shop nearby. It's a good idea to hire a car because it's not easy to reach the beaches.

Alexandros, Catherine and Yani are particularly kind and mostly welcoming. I was overwhelmed by their attention to their guests. The room was very clean, comfortable.Public transport right around the corner. If there was no soap for your shower, it was not the end of the world. If you want extras go to another hotel. For the very good price and the kindness of the owners I will definitely go again and truly recommend it. Yvonne El Masri

Family hotel with a very friendly owners. I have a great pleasure to meet them. Owners and their two sons ready to help their guest in every problem - from rent a motorbike up to make a transfer to port. They explain in details features of vacation on Mykonos. I want to thanks for the great hospitality.

The staffs are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is very beautiful! It is decorated in the traditional Greek style. Living there is just like living in a family.

Good position. Close to nice beaches and town (you need a scooter though). Nice room, just a bit small. Nice staff.

I had expected something better according to all the good opinions I read on Internet. It wasn't very clean. Actually I think that the bathroom was never cleaned during our five days stay.

One of the best places we stayed during our 6 month travels in Europe. Very friendly and hospitable owners who provide you with a ride to and from the port of Mykonos upon arrival and departure. Rooms are unique and the air conditioner provides relief after a long hot day during July. Each room has a little terrace in front of it where there is table and chairs for eating- very relaxing. Good location between the town center and some very nice beaches nearby. Great experience and value for money.

Internet signal didn't reach all the rooms but not that important as you can just move to the common area and use it.

"Alexandros Mykonos" apartments were the right choice for us, traveling to the island for the first time, and desiring to explore it inside out. The selection and booking, made in internet by my wife Maria, was decided on the basis of the best looking photos of the apartments, and the hope that we would find what we booked for, some nice, traditional Mykonian style rooms. We found more than we hoped for! That's because the location of the apartments is between the capital and main port of Mykonos, and the most significant town, Ano Mera (or, "Ano Meria"), and is extremely convenient to go from there to every destination on this small island. The location is in a quiet residential area, relatively away from the sea (about a mile), and doesn't offer a spectacular view to any beach or hilltop, but the apartments themselves are unbelievably beautiful, and compensate fully for the lack of any view around them, or any dance club near them. They look like a traditional village of the island, an ideal one though, as no true village was as nice as them. They were created on different levels of a rather small private property, but the owner/decorator/artisan/builder of them, Mr Alexandros, crafted and decorated them using his very special, nice and authentic taste, along with the traditional building techniques of the Aegean Sea islands, and added his personal small details that really make a difference. The owner and his wife, Mrs Katerina, were also very hospitable, and (among others) helped us locate the best and the cheapest restaurants of the island, the least known (and more interesting) beaches, some nice (but not well-known) places to take photos from, as well as some secrets of the island usually known only to the locals. Their help to their guests seemed to extend to the point of showing them, themselves (on a small fee) some special places, in their own mini-van, when the guests didn't have a car or a bike rented to explore the island themselves.

Nothing at all, our stay was just perfect!

rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. gestione familiare di persone simpatiche e disponibili. posizione ottima, fuori dal casino del centro ma a 5 minuti di motorino.

Ottima accoglienza, alexandros, se lo richiedete, vi verra' a prendere direttamente in aeroporto. Insieme a sua moglie vi spieghera' tutti I segreti dell'isola. I locali sono molto caratteristici ed in stile greco. Rapporto qualita'-prezzo molto buono. Personale sempre disponibile e simpatico. Noleggio scooter con consegna direttamente nella struttura.

Lejos..un lugar excelente!!..comenzando por sus dueños, quienes nos orientaron en la isla, se esforzaron por ayudarnos a pesar de que no manejabamos bien el idioma, nos ayudaron con el arriendo de la moto, el traslado al aeropuerto y lo mas importante la buena y amigable atención de ellos, el gran sentido del humor de Alexandros y la cordialidad de Catherinna. Ademas, nos facilitaron una habitación hermosa, tradicionalmente griega, amplia, limpia, que tenia todas las comodidades, un baño lindo y con cocina equipada full. El lugar era familiar, comodo y por sobretodo confortable, con todo relativamente cerca como varios market cerca, bencineras, city town a 10 minutos en moto, playas cerca, en resumen todo muy clever.

No podria decir que algo no me gusto, porque no es asi; pero por decir algo..quizas el que no todas las habitaciones tengan internet, pero pensando que uno va a desconectarse y relajarse..es en realidad el mejor favor.

El trato con los propietarios fue fabuloso. Vinieron a recogernos al puerto y nos llevaron al aeropuerto sin coste alguno. Nos facilitaron el alquiler del vehículo y nos asesoraron sobre qué ver y dónde ir. Muy recomendable.

Un poco alejado de la ciudad (a 1,5 km aproximadamente), por lo que necesitabas del transporte público o de alquiler de vehículo.

Alessandro, Caterina e i figli sono persone eccezionali, le camere sono molto belle, pulite ed ariose. L hotel è a circa 2 km dal centro città e ben collegato con tutte le spiaggie. Alessandro mi ha aiutato a noleggiare uno scooter che ho potuto ritirare e consegnare in hotel, lui ha trattato per me sul prezzo per cui ho risparmiato qualcosa per il noleggio. Il fatto che l'hotel non sia in spiaggia ne in città non è un problema perché comunque a Mykonos serve almeno uno scooter per girarla e considerando che non è un isola molto grande il centro città dista appena 5 minuti e la spiaggia più lontana dalla' hotel 10/15 minuti.Se comunicate l orario del vs. arrivo vi vengono a prendere al'aeroporto ed alla partenza vi accompagnano, questo servizio è incluso nel costo dell' hotel ed è perlato prassi diffusa a Mykonos. A circa 200 metri dalla'hotel vi è un supermercato fornito di tutto. Consiglio vivamente l hotel di Alessandro e Caterina che come detto sono davvero supergentili 10 e lode

Molto ospitali, disponibili per qualsiasi eventualità ed informazione. Muniti di trasporto da e per l'aeroporto. Strutture non lussuose ma carine ed in buone condizioni. Ottimo per una vacanza con gli amici!

Struttura molto carina tipica del posto, situata vicino al centro di Mykonos ma raggiungibile con mezzo. Conduzione familiare, disponibili per qualsiasi informazione e disposizione. Le pulizie nelle camere vengono fatte ogni giorno.
