Airotel Alexandros    

The receptionist was extremely polite, he even suggested preparing us a breakfast box because we would be checking out really early. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was OK. All in all, it was great value for money, given the location and close proximity to the metro.

The hotel seems to need some structural renovation in some areas... The balcony needs some furniture! You can't just be standing there....

Staff at the Hotel were friendly and very helpful. Buffet Breakfast was excellent .. so much choice, delicious and well presented and again efficient staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel location for our visit to Hospital and shopping was great and in the evening a couple of small bars within 2 mins walk of the Hotel for drinks.

Parts of the Hotel looking in need of repair. Taxi booked for 6am to Airport.. Usual charge is 35 Euros. He Charged 45 Euros would not book through Hotel again.

My husband was in Athens for medical reasons.The hotel was close to the hospital,although for anyone wanting central Athens was 5 mins walk fron the metro to go anywhere.Some great eating places close by,with good prices,and safe for walking around(which is not to be taken for granted in every area of Athens).The Hotel was clean,great quiet location,very good buffet for breakfast and helpfull staff,would stay there again.

After a great experience at the Airotel Smart hotel in Patra, the Athens Airotel Alexandros was a less positive experience. The advertised free internet was set up to annoy the hotel's customers into paying for its use by offering a free services with (I) hourly forced disconnections, (ii) 'one device per room concurrently', and (iii) a very restrictive bandwidth offering. We timed around 7 minutes to send an email with a 2.5Mb photo attached due to 128 kbps upload speed, offered by 'Fast@Friendly Internet Access service' of Mikenopa. We were told that the Partra hotel will be going the same way soon on the road to progress. The hotel indeed succeeded in annoying us enough to look at other 'imperfections' such as been given a twin room while asked for a double (sorry, we're renovating), heating not working properly, door to the terrace not lockable, one blanket for a twin room, no spare cushions and a 24-hour sound-rich environment (neighbourly snoring, coughing, alarms, toilet, shower and street noises) due to very poor sound insulation. The Staff on duty tried to help where possible and sent us a nice bottle of wine and fruit, 5 stars for their efforts. The hotel's management receives no stars for trying to weasel their way into our hearts (and pockets) by walking the very thin line between truth and lies. Given this experience, we would not recommend this hotel to people we like.

The breakfast was fantastic, the location very convenient, since it is near the subway (metro line connects to the airport) and the staff very friendly!!!

Breakfast was good and you do have some courteous staff. I like the balcony although it faces another building, still good to have one. Location appears pretty safe too, very close to the us embassy.

The days we were there happen to coincide with strikes. There were no public transport and the hotel is not near the city center so we had to do a lot of walking. There were really no arrangements that can be made to make it a little easier for tourist other than walking. Worse, when we came from the airport by bus, the bus driver dropped us off at the city center and we had to drag our luggage for several kilometers to track down where the hotel is. What the hotel should have done is email guest about the situation, let us know the bus stop where to drop off and try to make some arrangements at airport if possible. Make some clear instructions where to find the hotel. Staff at the counter wasn't exactly comforting when we finally arrived. The message clearly was "you're really on your own, we can't do much. Just be careful out there and avoid the strikes". And yes, you could upgrade the tv set to something new...

the location was great and all transport easily accessible. the staff were extremely helpful. bedroom decent size with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and safe.

the furniture in the bedroom is A bit dated. the bath was extremely small. the .lift was also very small

The breakfast was nice. The stuff was very helpful. They have upgraded our room. We had to leave earlier than the breakfast starts (7 a.m.) and they opened the restaurant before. The location is ok, because to stay in the center of Athens is quite dangerous (we've seen a robbery and a lot of strange people near Plaka). The hotel is a bit old but that is ok for the money we've paid. The best way to get to the hotel is a special bus coming directly from the airport. The stop Mavili sq. is 1 min walk. While exploring the city take a subway - it is really convenient. The stop Ambelokipi is 7min walk from the hotel.

Lots of people smoke in Greece. You are also allowed to smoke in the hotel rooms. The smell stays and for non-smokers it is really disturbing as it was in our case. The free wi-fi is very low.

Horrible old hotel, mini bar was not replenished, shower gels and shampoos, too, until we are asked for it. Hotel looks like 2 star

everything was excellent

We enjoyed our stay at Airotel Alexandros. The staff was most friendly, we had a large room with balcony with view of Lycabettus Hill, the air-conditioning worked, the bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water, and breakfast was copious. Best of all: the location, near the bus stop to/from the airport (X95). Our thanks to all the very warm staff at Hotel Alexandros!

It is not easy to find the hotel in late night because the hotel is located inside main street.

To much moise by other guest during night hours (from 20:00 hrs to 05:00hrs The room even thought it was no smoking room the amount of smoke coming (i think) from air duct (especially the air duct of bathroom) was extraordinary high causing probles to our staying.

I did not like the mattress,lot of noise,the rooms need renovation,the towels were not in good condition.

Πληρώσαμε τιμή για ξενοδοχείο τριών αστέρων και απολαύσαμε παροχές τετράστερου . Από τα μεγάλα του πλεονεκτήματα το άριστο πρωινό σε μια εξαίρετη αίθουσα και το θαυμάσιο προσωπικό. Επίσης από τα θετικά του το άνετο δωμάτιο και η συσκευή τσαγιού και καφέ μέσα σε αυτό. Η τοποθεσία πολύ βολική και ασφαλής

Το ξενοδοχείο αρχίζει να "δείχνει" τα χρόνια του. Το πρωϊνό θα ήταν καλύτερα να είχε μικρότερη ποικιλία και καλύτερη ποιότητα. Επίσης, βρίσκω τις παροχές του Internet αδικαιολόγητα μίζερες.
