The garden is not arranged at all, some small trees have been planted
but that's all, it looks like the landscape project have been halted
abruptly at one point, some tools were scattered around.. That'a a
dissapointment, considering that this is Greece and some spectacular
plants are available. Also important: you might want to consider (silly
me didn't) that the house is located at 700 meters ab. Sea level, so
it's a lot coller than the general temeperature. End of september:
pool could not be used, it was freezing (I suspect it was filled just
moments before our arrival, that was a bit annoying) and heavy blankets
during the night. Being a stone house also adds to the coolness, floors
are are always very cold. That might be a plus in warmer months but for
us it was a problem.
Superb stone villas, big rooms (our villa had 1 bedroom, 1 living room,
1 kitchen/ dining and 1 bathroom, could easily accomodate 4 people).
Private pool and terrace with stunning sea view. Kitchen very well
equipped. Entire house very clean, and cleaning service every 3 days.
The silence in the morning is absolutely amazing. Host very helpful and
ready to accomodate any request. Also have to mention the amazing
restaurant in the village of Chortata.
