Outside busy road, therefore very quite. Very, very spacious hotel in every places- from the hall, room,.. And the swimming pool. Excellent value for money. It is worth to have breakfeat as this price too. A place to go back and spend time to discover its port and all historic places. This hotel gives you the feeling of high class without the cost.

Large room, large bathroom, comfortable bed, large choice at breakfast, reception staff was helpful but can smile a bit more.

pillows need replacing, hot breakfast didn't look very fresh at 10:00 a.m. filter coffee was horrible, breakfast staff was a bit unprofessional in the way they cleared tables and transferred silverware from table to table - also talking and laughing amongst themselves close to guests having breakfast. Bathtub could be larger and better quality shower curtains would be a nice touch. Amenities could include conditioner and body cream not just shower gel and shampoo. I am sorry if I sound a bit picky but I am also a hotel owner and in the tourist business and therfore am a bit opinionated. Overall a nice experience but we can all do better.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind

Clean hotel with pool. Staff friendly.

No public transport. Tourist without vehicle must always use a taxi and believed calling of taxi to take you into Nafplio was expensive, return rate was O.K.

The service was outstanding. Poolside delightful. Young Eukranian waiter just beautiful in every way. Wirelss access excellent. Will promote to friends. Rooms are sound proof. There was wedding into the early hours - not an issue.

Comment is about smoking - hate it but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Travelling with my niece and her two friends, i live in Greece the 3 girls visiting from Canada i'm 52 the girls 26, to see a play at ancient Epidaurus Theater we needed a hotel not far from the Theater, approx 40min drive which sounded good so why not, we had a car....When we arrived at Amalia hotel aside from the professional photos i did not have much to go on, as with other people i was skeptical having heard horror stories about some hotels,pictures vs reality. the parking had about 7 cars so easy parking to start with,on entering the building itself no automatic doors which did not help with luggage in hand but not a problem, the reception area is large clean and a good first impression as it connects to the bar living room lounge sort of area and the staircase that leads to the main restaurant.the receptionist was serious and answered some first questions i had with ease, nice start.... took a clean elevator to our floor used key card to enter our rooms, rooms were cool with the ac working, not like some other hotels where you have to start it when entering the room it felt nice with the temp being a cool 42 outdoors.first thing we did was have something cool to drink it was hot hot hot!! no way we were going outdoors so we had our drinks in the interior snack pool restaurant which was very very plain the staff made it colorful. We went for a drive into Nafplio came back had a nice swim in a big pool water hot from the 42 temperature lots of chlorine though. that night attended the play came back to hotel at midnight parking was full no where to park so we parked a few meters away nothing wrong with a few extra steps the area looked safe and as it turns out it was.As i mentioned in the beginning the age diff in our party of people so there you have different tastes and wants but no problem at all..... breakfast was good, could upgrade the orange juice though. 13to15July2012 7/10points, would stay there again.

one thing i did not like was the room service trays from other rooms outside the rooms for a long time that's all folks....

Beautiful environment, swimming pool and attractive gardens all around, spacy rooms, large choice long buffet continental breakfast, extended aisles and roomy places for any social events create enough pleasure for all visitors. Large parking space next to the main entrance facilitates in and outgoing clients carrying heavy luggage. Altogether, the 4 star rating is very close to reach the top category.

Old fashioned wooden window shutters that would not fit. Tasteless scrambled eggs on breakfast buffet harm the good taste. Insufficient light for shavers in the bathroom.

המלון גדול מאוד והסויטה די מרוחקת .בפרסומת הופיע נוף לים בפועל רואים את הים רק מהמרפסת.
