Bra, centralt hotell, tryggt område även om man kommer hem sent, promenadavstånd till sevärdheter, ligger mitt mot nationalparken m utomhusbio, nära flygbuss och tunnelbana, bl.a. direktlinje till flygplats. Bra service, fantastisk frukost, mycket hjälpsam personal i reception. |

Fantastiskt läge med promenadavstånd till allt från city till Akropolis och andra sevärdheter. En mycket bra hotellrestaurant med trevlig personal. Möjligen då den ibland "obemannade" cafeterian vid receptionen. |

Utmärkt läge.Gångavstånd till Akropolis. Flygbussen stannar 100 meter från hotellet. Spårvagnen till stranden 50 meter från hotellet. Bra frukost. Nära grönområden. |

Väldigt centralt beläget nära shopping, sevärdheter och restauranger i ett område som vi upplevde som väldigt tryggt för att vara Aten. Hotellet har en relativt stor frukostbuffé med både varma och kalla rätter men vi saknade lite nyttigare alternativ och riktig juice. Rummen är fräscha och relativt rymliga, har man tur har man viss utsikt över Akropolis. Sängarna är relativt hårda jämför med svensk standard men ändå bekväma. Det finns bara trådbundet Internet på rummen, det är dock riktigt snabbt men på tok för dyrt. (5€ för 2h) Kostnaden för Internet och att det inte fanns trådlöst på rummen vilket gjorde en begränsad till att sitta vid skrivbordet. |

excellent location near to Syntagma square and to the Plaka. 5 minutes walk from the Metro station and from the Bus terminal to the Airport. Staff very kind and helpful. Nice breakfast. Room a little small but confortable. |

Their breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. It was very close to the Acropolis and the temple of Zeus so we could pop back to the room for a quick shower when needed. They were quite expensive but all hotels in athens are so this is not a specific problem to this hotel. |

The location is excellent. You can access to most of the famous spots within walking distance . The airport bus, metro and bus station are all around corner. Hotel room is well equiped and breakfast is delicious. The only inconveninence is you have to access to Internet at lobby. If guests can use free wifi in guest room, that would be perfect. |

A great hotel. Location is excellent - a walking distance from any touristic attraction, whether the Acropolis, the Plaka, Syntagma Sq., Hotel stuff is as friendly and helpful and humanly possible. breakfast was great. in summay - highly recomended. |

The location was perfect, the room was clean and modern and breakfast was pretty good too. There is no wifi in the rooms which is slightly annoying, it is only available in the common areas. |

It is a clean, comfortable and very convenient hotel. It is located right across the road from a metro station and within easy walking distance of the acropolis and all major sites and shopping. Breakfast is great with a wonderful variety of fresh food options. Highly recommend the Amalia. |

We had an excellent stay in a superior room which overlooked the National Gardens. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread was very good - lovely cakes and pastries as well as all the usual cereals, bacon, eggs and cold meats and cheeses. The location is central and convenient for metro, Plaka, Acropolis and other archaeological sites. When we return to Athens we will definitely stay there again. No - we can honestly say that we can think of no downside. |

The location is absolutely fantastic. If you exit the Syntagma train station at the Amalia exit, the hotel is diagonally across the road. They have a roof top terrace where you can easily view the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier outside the Parliament building. The breakfast was sensational with a good variety of food. The Bougatsa is awesome! The hotel was only able to offer a twin room. It seemed that there weren't many double rooms available. |

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is one block from airport express bus and is close to everything. We walked to the Acropolis, Plaka and other shopping areas. Free buffet breakfast included in room rate and the food was excellent. Everyone who travels to Athens should stay at Amalia! Highly recommended! |
