Amathus Beach Hotel Rhodes  

The location of the hotel is convenient as it is very close to the city of Rhodes. It has its own clean beach aside from the hotels' own pools. The breakfast buffet is great , with a very big variety of different dishes and everything is delicious. The staff is very polite and the level of service was overall excellent.

I really like the hotel I had a family room which was really comfortable and spacious the staff is really helpful and the service is very good. I think this hotel is a great value for money. My kids are 11 & 12 and they were really entertained by the facilities available

Everything looks like 80's. Hotel is very old, bathroom, tv, sofas etc. Decoration is simply old fashion. Restaurant staff was rude. And an empty minibar, not even a bottle of water.

The hotel is clean and the pool areas are very nice and well kept.

Unless you stay in the Elite Suites of this hotel it is no where near a 5 star hotel. It was probably built in the early 80s and hasn't been updated since. I would rate this hotel as an average 3 star. There is only wi-fi in the lobby. The air conditioning doesn't work very well in the rooms. There were many people who were upset when they arrived and saw what they thought was a 5 star hotel. Fortunately, if there is space in the Elite Suites and if you are willing to pay an extra 150 euro you can move to the other side of the hotel which is definetly 5 star.

Wij zijn voor de 2e keer daar geweest en hebben daar een Bungalow gehuurd,het zwembad was 5 a 10 meter lopen van de bungalow.het is rustig naar gelang de grote van het hotel.men heeft er voldoende vrijheid en ruimte om iets te doen,iedere avond live muziek en 1 maal per week (op zondag ) griekse avond. Beneden aan het hotel is een groot zwembad met een kunst strand ,waterval en nivo verschil.daarboven is er een lux restaurant met live muziek.wij gaan beslist weer terug.

Mi è piaciuta la posizione di fronte al mare, la vista dal ristorante,il cibo, le piscine e lo staff.( tanti saluti alla Katerina che parla benissimo l'italiano ed è molto gentile)

Calisanlar ozellikle macaristandan otelde calismaya gelen 5 kisilik ekip ( poolbardaki Atilla basta olmak uzere) cok sicak ve guleryuzluyduler. Terastaki restoranda yemekler lezzetli ve fiyatlar sehiricindeki restoranlara yakin hatta daha uygun. Yemek cesitleri arttirilabilir. Otelin icineki market de diger otellerdeki gibi fahis fiyatlar sunmuyor. Ufak tefek alisverisler (su,kola,cikolota gibi) icin ideal. Oglen acik bufesi 15€ luk fiyati ile cesit ve kalite bakimindan cost-effective. Wireless internet ortak kullanim alanlarinda mevcut ve ucretsiz. Bu bolgelere yakin odalardan da cekiyor.

Otel konum olarak old town a yakin ( yaklasik 4 km ) ancak Ixia bolgesindeki koy adanin kuzey batisina baktigi icin denizi cok dalgali. Kiyida yaklasik 1 metrelik taslik bolum sonrasi deniz tabani ince kum. Otel ile deniz arasindan sahil yolu geciyor ama denize gitmek icin yeralti gecidini kullandiginiz icin otel icinden cikmadan otelin ozel plajina ulasabiliyorsunuz. Bungolovlar otelin 11. Katinda ve burdaki havuzun kenarinda yerlesmis. Bungolovlarin ici eski ve bakimsiz, ayrica tek oda seklinde, suit gibi degil ve 3 kisi kalinacaksa cekyat kanepe acildiginda frenchbed ile cakisiyor. Odalarda priz sayisi her otelde oldugu gibi yetersiz. Telefon ve ipad ya da laptop sarjetmek icin komodin uzerindeki abajurlardan feragat etmeniz gerekiyor. Rodosta kalmak isteyenler icin denizi sirf kum ve carsaf gibi olan Falaraki bolgesini onerebiliriz.

Patika iespēja, ka norezervēto numuru viesnīcā pirmajā dienā varējām samainīt uz Elite Suites apartamentiem ar privāto peldbaseinu. Tas atbilst viesnīcas 5* statusam. Poolbārā bija laba apkalpošana un serviss. Varkarola restorānā ir atbilstoša apkalpošana un serviss ar menedžeri Leonidas priekšgalā.

Ierodoties viesnīcā uzzināju, ka mana bungalo rezervācija ir "pazudusi". Rezerves variants Family apartamentos nebija apmierinošs. Kopumā, viesnīcas 5* kategorijai atbilst vienīgi cenas. Diemžēl.
