Amathus Beach Hotel Rhodes  

The location of the hotel is convenient as it is very close to the city of Rhodes. It has its own clean beach aside from the hotels' own pools. The breakfast buffet is great , with a very big variety of different dishes and everything is delicious. The staff is very polite and the level of service was overall excellent.

It was a lovely hotel. We enjoyed the relaxed style of holiday with the benefits of having very good fitness facilities.

The breakfast was endless!!! A lot of variety for any taste . The swimming pools and the service near the pool. The spa treatments ,everybody must do at least a back massage is so relaxing!! The man we rent the car ( I think Mr Tremianos, difficult name) from was very helpfull and polite. Also Mr Vasilis and Mr Costas we met at the 11th floor during lunch time had an excelllent attitude especially Mr Costas was very friendly.

honest breakfast combined with the fabulous view at the tenth floor of the hotel, nice sea and pool view from the spacious room and in general i had a very good sleep which means that the bed was very comfortable and relaxing. In all respect, it was value for money.

Poor design. The hotel was somehow old (furniture, elevators) and the impression dampens when comparing with other impressing 5 star hotels in Rhodes (ie la Marquis, Rodos Palladium etc). However, the competitive price compensates the visitor in every aspect.

Fint hotell med utmärkta faciliteter för bad och träning. Mycket fint poolområde. Bra frukost!

Buffémiddagen var inte särskilt bra.

Calisanlar ozellikle macaristandan otelde calismaya gelen 5 kisilik ekip ( poolbardaki Atilla basta olmak uzere) cok sicak ve guleryuzluyduler. Terastaki restoranda yemekler lezzetli ve fiyatlar sehiricindeki restoranlara yakin hatta daha uygun. Yemek cesitleri arttirilabilir. Otelin icineki market de diger otellerdeki gibi fahis fiyatlar sunmuyor. Ufak tefek alisverisler (su,kola,cikolota gibi) icin ideal. Oglen acik bufesi 15€ luk fiyati ile cesit ve kalite bakimindan cost-effective. Wireless internet ortak kullanim alanlarinda mevcut ve ucretsiz. Bu bolgelere yakin odalardan da cekiyor.

Otel konum olarak old town a yakin ( yaklasik 4 km ) ancak Ixia bolgesindeki koy adanin kuzey batisina baktigi icin denizi cok dalgali. Kiyida yaklasik 1 metrelik taslik bolum sonrasi deniz tabani ince kum. Otel ile deniz arasindan sahil yolu geciyor ama denize gitmek icin yeralti gecidini kullandiginiz icin otel icinden cikmadan otelin ozel plajina ulasabiliyorsunuz. Bungolovlar otelin 11. Katinda ve burdaki havuzun kenarinda yerlesmis. Bungolovlarin ici eski ve bakimsiz, ayrica tek oda seklinde, suit gibi degil ve 3 kisi kalinacaksa cekyat kanepe acildiginda frenchbed ile cakisiyor. Odalarda priz sayisi her otelde oldugu gibi yetersiz. Telefon ve ipad ya da laptop sarjetmek icin komodin uzerindeki abajurlardan feragat etmeniz gerekiyor. Rodosta kalmak isteyenler icin denizi sirf kum ve carsaf gibi olan Falaraki bolgesini onerebiliriz.

Godt badehotel med rigtig gode faciliteter med en fantastisk beliggenhed. Stedet var meget familievenligt.

Der var en meget ringe service både i receptionen og på restauranterne. Morgenmaden blev indtaget under stress, da de skulle dække op til aftensmaden og frokosten tog flere timer at få serveret. Personalet var ikke venlige. Hvis service er vigtigt for dit ophold vil jeg ikke anbefale dette hotel, hvis beliggenhed og faciliteter er vigtige er dette hotel absolut anbefalingsværdigt.

Näköala merelle ja uima-altaalle upea. Aamiais- ja illallisbuffet hyvä. Palvelut hotellissa hyvät ja henkilökunta mukavaa.

Mi è piaciuta la posizione di fronte al mare, la vista dal ristorante,il cibo, le piscine e lo staff.( tanti saluti alla Katerina che parla benissimo l'italiano ed è molto gentile)

Just the location and service.

In my country ( Israel) and most of the countries in Europe, this hotel will get up to 3 stars. Unfortunately this hotel even not close to get 5 stats. We got the Family "Suite" Very very old rooms, for old persons only, it doesn't look like the pictures, bad cleaning. Be careful - This hotel is not worth your money. ! The only rooms who really clean and beautiful may be the Elite Suites, the new rooms at the hotel but it cost x3 - x4 more than the old rooms. Not for family and not for people who like Quality and Luxury. The food? Very cheap . Booking.com must refresh the pictures immediately. I was change my hotel to Sheraton, nearby Amathus - this hotel like 10 stars compare to Amathus. Like the resorts in my country. You pay for 5 stars Luxury and you really get it! Even on standard room. Quality. The Loby is beautiful, the pools, best service, best cleaning rooms and suites, the food is better better than Amathus, every night you have shows at the hotel... And guess what? You get it at the same price as Amathus. I will back to Rhodes just because Sheraton.
