This hotel was great! Right in the center of Athens, walking distance to the parliament and all the restos at night. Room very nice, clean, new, and modern. We only stayed one night but I would definitely stay there again. Highly reccomended. |

The front desk staff--Anastasia, Dimitri, Kristos--treated us like family and were very friendly. We stayed a week and would stay there again. The room was cleaned thoroughly and sheets changed every day. We could see the Acropolis from our room, but not all rooms have that. We asked and it was granted. This is a great value--combination of location abd price. The rooms, beds, TV, shower and bathrooms are small by USA standards, but that's true of most European hotels. The bathroom could use some shelf space. |

The receptionists were remarkably kind and helpful, particular the young specialist in cultural tourism. All the members of the staff, including the maids and those who served breakfast, were unfailingly kind, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. Although the staff that served the breakfast was unfailingly kind, the breakfast itself was not as good as any of the other breakfast food that I enjoyed in Greece. |

good location, decent breakfast, otherwise not worth the money.. no wireless internet, charge of 3 Euro per hr. with cable so short one had to balance the laptop precariously; stayed in tiny triple room |

The design of the hotel is nice, the cleanliness and location is excellent. The big night guy at reception doesn't seem to know any courtesy, the breakfast was mediocre. |

Very clean and comfortable. Well situated in the Plaka area which was also very clean and felt very safe. According to my camera, we took a leisurely walking tour of the Plaka area, twice around the Acropolis, lunch, and back to the hotel in 4.5-hr (lunch took 2-hr)! The hosts/hostesses were very helpful in providing directions and calling taxis. As with all Athens hotels, the price was a shock - get over it! It was worth a little extra to be located in the Plaka area within walking distance of the Acropolis and outstanding Greek Tavernas (and Starbucks!). |

Excellent location, one of the best for exploring the city. Rooms are rather small and our was exposed to the goings outside the room. Air conditioning too loud. Yet worth of money and the location is the best of all possibilities. |

The location is perfect, pretty next to Acropolis, in the heart of Athens. The room was clean and confortable. I'd strongly recomend this hotel in Plaka, next to Syntagma Square. Everything was fine. |

The hotel is small, but modern, clean and comfortable. It is ideally located, within walking distance of major tourist sites ( Acropolis, Agora, museums etc.,) and is close to shops and restaurants. Buses and trains within 5 mins walk. |

With a superb location under the Acropolis and in front of the Temple of Zeus, this recently renovated hotel is renowned for its fantastic views, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. |
Conveniently located by Athens’ shopping district and within walking distance to all the tourist attractions, Hotel Carolina offers clean and comfortable accommodation with complimentary buffet... |
The hotel is situated in an ideal location, in the heart of the old city, in the Plaka area; just a few minutes walk from Parliament, Acropolis and the museums. |
Renovated in the beginning of 2008, Astor Hotel is located in the historical triangle of Athens, only 100 metres from Syntagma Square, and offers magnificent views of the Acropolis. |
