Amoudi bay is a cute small village with great views for a fraction of the price of staying in Oia. It is very important/advisable to rent a car, because it is quite far from anywhere else in the island, including Oia right above. We went up the stairs to Oia once, and it is tiring! Accomodation is simple, if you are looking for luxury this is not your place. Breakfast in our terrace overlooking the ocean was magical. And Yannis was extremely helpful! I would have liked to have more kitchen utensils, cups, glasses, spoons, etc... and a microwave or electric kettle would be great, but I recognize I should have asked for these while I was there. |

We loved it. Yannis was wonderful and we enjoyed conversations with him. He was informative. While Amoudi Villas is not luxury, it was comfortable, clean and lots of ambience in a rustic sense which we loved. The hotel was delightful, its location was spectacular, again it was rustic, comforable, clean, ambience and friendly. We loved sitting outside looking at the cove high on a cliff. we highly recommend it for people who enjoy this experience. |

The view from our terrace was stunning. The other guests were lovely and friendly. The bedroom was internal so had no windows & was very stuffy. The air conditioning unit was in the living room so it had limited effect in the bedroom. The bed was very small, pillows were hard, uncomfortable and cheap, like sleeping on bags of cement. The kitchenette did not have any pans or dinner plates. These were requested twice but never arrived. Only one of the two rings on the stove worked |

We liked the view in the little port of Amoudi. The hotel is not in Oia, it is in Amoudi. The superior double room is for 4 people, and when we asked them if they can move us to a room for 2 people they upgraded for free some others to our room and they wanted us to pay the same price as before! The house is old and the value for money is really low. |

Not very good cliff view, but might be a good place to enjoy the sunset. Still hard to get to the top of Oia. |

We loved our time at Amoudi Villas and did not want to leave! The views are breathtaking. The location was also perfect: caldera-side, quiet, and outside of the fray of Oia (yet still just a short hike from the town.) |

The reception is miles aways from the hotel, once you got to the hotel, you will find no reception there. You will have to walk 20 minutes "up the hill" or take a taxi if you are lucky. |
