The staff especially Anita who is Professional and does everything possible to ensure your stay is perfect. The best breakfast in Greece -- delicious and elegantly presented. The view from the balcony over the sea. The restaurant Amphora - one of the finest with superb service.
The views were fantastic both from the room and the roof terrace. The room was comfortable and well decorated. Good wi-fi
The music was loud from surrounding bars at night. Having to heat water for 20 minutes before use wasn't very convenient
Everything was perfect, very happy that we choosed this hotel for our last night. Great view from window and close to the large balcony
Liked nearly everything! Especially the restaurant.
The bed was awful. I still have a sore side. The springs literally dig into you. Such a let down, truely lovely hotel in a beautiful town.
Excellent location, delicious breakfast, welcoming and helpful staff, charming building and lovely rooms.
There's nothing wrong about this place, just that we had to leave so soon.
Very friendly and helpful stuff, I felt very welcome. I had possibility to stay at 2 rooms during my stay, both rooms were very stylish and nice. Hotel terrace is excellent, it has fantastic view over the harbor.
Clean, friendly...like walking into your own home. Great location .....very accommodating. Loved the fresh flowers in my room despite the heat.
My bathroom was a bit small.
It was inside the historic area. Very close to shops and restaurants.
You can not reach the hotel by your car
Hotel Amphora is an exquisite and special place. The views are spectacular, the building a joy to be in, and the staff wonderful. I would recommend it to everyone.
Great position at the Venetian harbour.
Staff not friendly or helpful. Wanted to stay longer but no room....no suggestions, no assistance. Expensive for what it was. Happy we had to leave because we found a far better hotel for almost half the price a few doors down, lol!
Great Staff! Great breakfast!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The location of the hotel, in the old town and right on the old venetian port, is really excellent. Parking is also relatively near.
The shower in my room was a bit small but to be fair I am also taller than average...
We liked the location and we liked the view. We also liked the friendly staff.
For two nights there was a lot of noise from adjoining bar.
Really excellent location and view. It was possible to shut out street noise. Style and appointment of rooms.
One room did not have an ensuite.
great location over harbor; excellent rooms and amenities
a little noisy because of close bar
Location and amenities
A little hard to find, but that goes with the location
Rooms were really clean and nice. The staff, Mr Augustine, was excellent!!!!!
We didn't like being directly on the old harbor was a little loud and these black sparrows are constantly making noise during the day.
The terrace overlooking the harbour. Breakfast could be taken up there, and afternoon drinks as well.
We have never been to Hania and this was such a wonderful location to drink in the beautiful island. Our room was on the top floor with a porch overlooking the sea- just delightful. Long slow coffees looking over the harbour and the most delicious food from the local taverna- greatest hospitality- what a warm people.
We liked everything- the charming narrow streets- the beautiful views from every point.
Spacious room, fantastic view of harbour, balcony. breakfast on terrace overlooking harbour.
It would have been nice to know in advance that taxis cannot drop off at the hotel as it is in a pedestrian area. Guests need to phone hotel on arrival at nearby drop-off point so that hotel can send someone to meet you and help with the luggage
Beautiful views, fantastic food in the restaurant and great staff. Will definitely be back
Everything! We spent six days there and fully relaxed. The staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful. Our room had a great view of the harbor and lighthouse (room 14), and the terrace was just 20 feet away with a full panoramic view df the harbor area, which is utterly charming, as are all the narrow, quaint street in this ancient section of Old Town. The breakfast offered plenty of tasty options, and eating on the veranda upstairs made it doubly relaxing. When we left, we felt sad to say goodbye to the staff we met. They had become friends. We could not have been more satisfied. In our month of travels, this is the best place we've stayed at.
The people and the setting were equally wonderful.
There are two nightclubs next door and downstairs. They are open until 6 AM. While the hotel has put forth a great deal of effort to mitigate the noise from the nightclubs, there's really only so much you can do.
The view from the balconies is amazing. You have a fantastic panorama.
Position is AMAZING Staff always nice and kind Really clean
It's on top of the restaurant and the room smell fried during lunch and dinner.
