House owner felt unhappy when we would like to pay by credit....
Good location, not on Fira downtown but pretty close, they treat us well
Very poor breakfast, I'm not a person that feels that just one egg boiled and a slice of bread is enough. Bathroom is small and when you take a shower all the floor gets wet. Please don't park your vehicle in the parking lot that is in front of the hotel (the big one with buses and many cars) somebody stole us the gasoline and we almost lose the ferry to Mykonos for that situation. The owner promise giving us a ride to the bus station and he wasn't at the time we agreed with him.
Good location. Very close to the bus station. Nice poor area to enjoy the sunshine. The apartment offers much cheaper option for car rental comparing to the market price. €30-40 per day for auto car while most of the other places offers €50-60.
Very simple cooking facilitates.
Location and pool were very good. Staff and owners were very hospitable and extremely keen to please.
Hard bed and very small bathroom.
Staffs are very enthusiastic. Room is clean. It's near to the bus station and good place to see the sunrise.
The owner and his wife are extremely hospitable and helped to secure transfers and island transportation. Apt. was clean and pool area was lovely. Good value for rental cost.
No US television. Uncomfortable beds.
Our apartment faced the east for a beautiful sunrise and no noise from the street. We had a lot of space and it was very clean. Large front porch with beautiful view. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Nice pool.
The only thing I can think of was that the bed frames were squeaky.
owners :) not much english, but so sweet in their heart! very lovely people! perfect place if you stay for longer time (to bbq and so and get the home feeling) and want to be away from crowd (5 min walk to Fira centrum, bus/ taxi station, but it is totally off the main road and people). i think it would be good if you are with kids, too, to let them run around. simple breakfast which is enough to start a day off. a parking! santorini in general- u need a car. if we go back to santorini, we will stay there, for sure.
wifi works, but dont try to download a movie :D your are on holidays :)
Great, friendly staff and nice hotel. Not a four star but comfortable and close to the town. Would stay again.
Wifi was a bit finicky but we managed.
Just a short walk to fira town and bus station, staff were very friendly, rooms a good size with nice balconies. Great price
Very firm beds, some may like.
The apartments was great and we had a wonderful view of the sea from our room. The owner was very helpful and friendly. He even drove us up the hill into town on the day we arrived. The apartments are a short walk away from the bus and taxi terminals to get around Santorini. The breakfast is very simple but more than enough. The cake they serve at breakfast was very yummy. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.
There was no where to hook the shower head so needed to hold it.
We loved the view and also loved the fact that Anessis Apts. Are just far enough off the beaten path to be quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance from the major bus terminal and downtown. We loved the bus which took us everywhere we wanted to go for 1.80-2.20 euros one way....The owner was nice and arranged for us to be picked up from the ferry port.
When we went to pay there was some confusion about how much we owed and our correct change.....even though we showed them our reservation confirmation and told the lady how much change she owed us...it made us feel uncomfortable. There was a language barrier with the lady who took our money. Just make sure to take your print out Booking Confirmation with you.
The honers very frendly Say hy to Dimitri
Excellent location, close to bus station but not in the middle of town. Good bargain for those looking for a clean B&B that is close to town but without the noise. The host family is helpful but unfortunately does not speak a lot of English.
The location was good, only a short walk to town. The room was spacious. Relatively clean. The a/c was good and it was pretty quiet at night, although you could definitely hear dogs and the music from town but not too bad considering.
The staff did not speak ANY English at all, which made communication very difficult indeed. The breakfast left a lot to be desired and it was a bit awkward as the owners kind of monitor you. The bathroom is quite small and the shower pressure is a bit poor, also it was very hard to shower without flooding the bathroom.
The staff was super friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere, there is only a short walking distance to town, nice pool, nice balcony with a sea view, any problems were easily solved by Dimitri, hassle-free.
The wifi didn't work spotlessly for the both of us throughout our room, but well enough.
We arrived by foot and were greeted by the amazing Dimitri. The first thing he told us was we should have called him to arrange for him to pick us up from the bus station. When we had queried this his daughter who does all the emailing told us that this was an absolute no. We had to find our own way to the hotel. So we walked the 10 minutes on gravel roads with heavy suitcase to get there. One of our suitcases lost a wheel from the rough conditions. If only we'd known how willing and always available Dimitri is. The rooms were very large and spacious. Air conditioner worked very well. Pool was always clean. Lounges by the pool were very comfortable. Nice large umbrellas for shade. The whole pool area was very relaxing. Bathroom was a good size for Greek standards. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and towels replaced. The best part about this place was Dimitri. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He drove me to the supermarket and waited for me and took me back and carried my shopping to the apt for me. He truly is a gentle soul. He loves his guests and even though he speaks very little English he manages to communicate his love to them. We were fortunate enough to be able to speak Greek with him and really get to know him. Maria the cleaning lady was very nice and always had a smile for us. There was a covered verandah with a table and chairs for each apt plus a clothes hoist. This was handy for drying clothes and towels. The position of the hotel is close to the main bus station with regular busses going to almost anywhere on the island including the airport and port.
I didn't like the way the Madame watched us at breakfast and commented to us about how much we ate. She even went as far as telling us not to eat any more so there was enough for the other guests. Hello???? Buy enough food for all of your guests. They are actually paying for breakfast in their room rate. So make sure you have enough for everyone. I didn't see her telling others what to eat or not eat. I think she just took advantage of the fact that we spoke Greek. She of course only spoke Greek. There could have been a bit more variety. We got sick of the same thing every day. It's ok if you're there for a few days. We just bought our own food from the supermarket. That way we didn't have to listen to the Madame. There was a problem with the bed situation and the lack of kitchen/room facilities, but after some negotiating and emailing with booking.com and the owners daughter we were given a small reduction from the overall amount for our stay. I must say though the owners daughter was very nasty and threatening in her emails. Not a nice way to treat your guests. The complete opposite to her father who is so nice. Unfortunately the beds were as hard as rocks. So not good if you are older or have back issues. Walk to Fira is about 10 mins and mostly uphill. Wi-Fi was very slow in the rooms.
Very warm, friendly and accommodating staff made us feel like we were at home. Quiet location very close to bus stop and central Fira. Air conditioned rooms with beautiful views. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Lower level apartment is larger with a small terrace, and upper level is small but has panoramic balcony. Both are great, just depends on what you're looking for.
Nothing, but getting luggage upstairs was a challenge and no screens on windows so they had to be closed at night.
Very near to Fira town center About 1 ~2 mins only
Staff not so nice at sometimes Not enough lighting at night cos the light are so dim No 24hr recepion service
Great breakfast and very helpful staff. Good location a few minutes walk from fira town. Nice pool
Very hard bed! Not a great nights sleep, was fine for us as we are young. Wouldn't be good if you are a poor sleeper or have a bad back
The flat was very comfortable, it has all we needed. Also the apartment is very close to the fira centre. Staff is friendly anf they worry about your goodness all the time.
The breakfast is a bit poor, there's not enough variated. The staff dont speak english, the communication is complicated, also they are not in the reception all the time, just in the morning.
Very positive place, liked it very much! Friendly personnel and nice service ! Recom
Lovely pool, good breakfast, great location to town and the bus stop allowing the whole island to be easily accessible. Would recommend and revisit!
The owners of the hotel are just super sweet, very helpful and nice. Location is good, quiet and away from Fira noise. At the same time, easy to walk to the bars and nightlife.
Breakfast was a bit average
Convenient location, easy walking distance from the centre. Quiet and not overlooked with good views over the eastern side of the island.
Nothing. It was as described.
