Hotel Angela Suites & Lobby  

We liked this hotel because of the ideal position, easy access on foot to the shops, the beach and the old town. Also you can get free tea, coffee, juice, cakes and biscuits up to 1 o'clock every morning in the lobby. The lobby and paved area to the front of the hotel is very nice and cool with comfortable chairs and sofas. The air conditioning was very good.

One of the main drawbacks is the fact that you can't book a balcony, you can ask for one but it is not guaranteed. We were lucky are friends were not (but after complaining they were moved to a balcony room). The lady on reception who I think was the manager had a very abrupt and condecending manner (could do with a course at charm school). The men on reception were exactly the opposite very obliging and pleasant. A final point was the beds were very hard.

The Hotel was situated perfectly in the city, a short walk from beaches, shops and the lovely Old Town. Close nearby bars and restaurants to meet any pocket. Also close to services such as car hire. The reception staff were unfailingly helpful and charming, they responded to any request with a real willingness to please. All in all the hotel provided an excellent stay and a very good price. It was a pleasurable experience.

Very nice appartment with good pool and reception area. Well equipped Kitchen - though some of my pans went missing to another room I think. Very handy for Rhohes town and easy to get bus (outside hotel for east coast). Staff very friendly and helpful.

My trip was booked as a special deal, and I did not pay the full cost of the stay under other conditions. Therefore the quality against price ratio is hugely inflated

I loved everything about this hotel. I stayed in April when the rates were low and this is the best value for money I've ever experienced--and I travel a lot. The suite was actually a full 2 room apartment with a full bath, loads of storage, a full kitchenette and dining set, and a large balcony. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The lobby is spacious and there is a lovely terrace in front with comfy wicker furniture and a great pool in back with plenty of loungers. The hotel is ideally located near both the harbor and the wonderful old town. My room overlooked a street with pretty old buildings and leafy green trees. But if you prefer quiet, ask for a room overlooking the pool. I miss the hotel; it really felt like home.

I loved the ambiance, it is a charming relaxing atmosphere, that made one feel very at home, we will return, and recommend Angela to people, one of the best places I have ever stayed in.

They should put shower screens in the bathrooms, otherwise you have to mop floors with towels as they are slippery and dangerous and then there is more washing to be done and we should all be thinkingmof the environment, if you had to stay more than one day you would need clean sets of towels daily which would be unnecessary with a shower screen to protect floors from becoming so wet, need to check shower heads as well.

On the day of departure the free use of a fantastic shower room and toilet in the basement. Free snacks and drinks in the reception area. Lobby Comfortable for waiting. Location.

Staff not helpful, even when a problem needed sorting out quickly. Lack of information provided regards many things.

They should strictly devide rooms into smoking and non-smoking rooms.
