Great location, great value for money (low season), friendly people. It is a bit of a walk to get to the hotel up hill, but the location is a big asset. We didn't mind at all. We would recommand it!
It's very close to the port, you walk off the ferry and up the street. We liked that its located in the old quarter just beneath the castle, there's a small maze of old alleys that you must get through but it's been signed quite well. The room had a small balcony which we could sit down and appreciate the scenery. Loved it.
Clean quite hotel situated very close to the old chora attractions. Very comfortable bed mattresses small but nice balcony with sea view.
Bathroom was too small and smelling. One should be able to climb many stairs in order to access the hotel.
Well located, indeed a walking distance to the beach and the most famous Apollo temple ruins Portara, also possible to walk to many nice restaurants and bars in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Generally, it’s a very cute hotel, reasonably well-renovated and decorated, very clean, sea-view, good water pressure (you will need to wash the sand out of your hair).
Breakfast was plain, no vegetables etc.
Absolutely charming hotel in the middle of Naxos Town. Great views and makes you feel at home. Would highly recommend.
Wifi was a little weak.
Dimitrios Sideris and his staff were truly lovely, kind and would bend over backwards to help us: from picking us up at the Port, to making sure we were comfortable to ensuring we had a wonderful stay. Our room #19 was spacious with a balcony and very clean, comfortably furnished, well equipped (AC/WiFi, easy access to switch on/off lights...), four poster bed and superb mattress! A wonderful view of the Portara and sea and its garden entrance gorgeous. Breakfast was very good and buffet style with delicious Greek delicacies and local produce which Naxos is renowned for in the Cyclades. Its very well located too which is helpful. Absolutely strongly recommend this hotel! Thank you for making our trip so relaxing and memorable.
There's not a lot I can say except the bathroom was cosy in terms of size but excellent water power and always hot! It can be a bit of a trek from the Port in the hot weather as its three levels up from the Chora (10-12 mins) but once you get familiar with the winding and narrow streets, you find short cuts and you can walk it in no time in 6-7 mins.
Fantastic hotell. Great staff. Balcony with vide sea view. Clean and cozy room. Great location in ond town. Close to the harbour. Breakfast serves on a great terace with a sea view. Strongly recommend this hotel!
Charming hotel in a great location, right in the centre of Naxos Town and close to the Kastro and Old Market. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Good breakfast on the roof terrace with lovely sea view. Would definitely book again.
Well appointed room and great shower. Quiet location but still with a view of the sea and lovely views from breakfast terrace.
close to ferry
difficult to find when coming from ferry late at night
Beautiful place with view of the sea. Quintessentially Greek in the old town, built into the hill. Incredibly charming. The owner picks you up at the port, even though the ferry arrives at midnight.
Anixis is a great location for a vacation in Naxos, in a quiet location within the old city with superb views over the sea towards Paros. The hotel is impeccably maintained and the staff were charming.
