Petra has been built along the shore in the north part of Lesbos. It is a short distance from Molivos and Eftalou, where visitors can find thermal baths and the beach of Anaxos.

It takes just a 5-minute walk and you are right in the heart of the village of Petra with the picturesque market lanes where you can find traditional products and gifts for your loved ones back home, as well as many other amenities. Also, 44 yards from the house there is the bus stop where frequent buses can take you to other parts of this beautiful island.

Dominated by its famous, picturesque church, perched 44 yards above the rooftops on a huge rocky outcrop in the center of the village, Petra is a year-round working village. Its traditional way of life still flourishes with fishermen busy on the harbor and farmers chatting noisily over their morning coffee in the bustling village square.

Het betrof een vrij simpele studio en vrij sober ingericht, maar de prijs was daar ook naar.Het ligt langs een kustweg (zonder een echt strand) met een fraai uitzicht op zee.
