Aphrodite Apartments  

Dimitris and Afrodite are the real professionals. Their hospitality was excellent. I was reading the reviews from other travelers before booking on their small hotel and i was confirmed to the last detail. Rooms clean and perfect. Family atmosphere!, amazing nature arround and Corfu. Really everything they do is to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. They will be my favorite hotel in Corfu every time i travel there. Highly recommended for families.

Aphrodite Apartments are happily situated in a quiet place just off the main street of Agios Gordis and are close to everything in the village (3 minutes to the bus stop and supermarkets, 7 minutes to the beach and restaurants). It's a bit up the hill but it's an easy walk unless you have some serious walking problems. Each studio has its own entrance and a terrace where one can enjoy a beautiful view over the mountains and the sea. Our studio was quite compact but had everything we needed for comfortable stay, was very clean and was simply but nicely furnished showing attention to details. There was an AirCon and a small TV in the room (though we never had a chance to use them). The free WiFi was a plus. The owners, Aphrodite and Dimitris are very friendly, relaxed and helpful people, always ready to assist and pleasant to talk to. The place is excellent value for money for those who prefer studio-style accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

I would recommend the Aphrodite Apartments, they were clean, modern and the sea views are an added bonus. My only criticism would be that it would be nice to have privacy screening between the patios/balconies.

Dimitris and his family are lovely, so helpful and friendly. the rooms are well equipped and very clean. The hotel sits in the hills with spectacular views over the bay. It is very quiet but still within easy walking distance to the bars, restaurants and beach. The whole town is friendly, the food is good and fairly priced. There's plenty of wildlife to spot too.

One of the best places we have ever stayed at,very well looked after apartments in the fantastic village of Agios Gordis. The owners of these apartments live on site which for sure gives them a really good feel of being well run, they are also extremely friendly and helpful. We have visited quite a lot of places in Corfu and reckon this resort along with Kassiopi are the best places to stay. The road that runs down to to beach from here is full of great restaurants and a couple of good bars (lemon Tree cocktail bar and Robins nest) Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

We booked this place mostly because it was really cheap and because the location seemed great - in the end the place exceeded our expectations by far. The pictures on booking.com didn't do the studio apartment justice, as it was actually nicer and bigger than we'd anticipated. Everything was really clean and the owners were welcoming and friendly; we even got a little goodbye gift when we left. The apartment is only a 5 min walk away from the beach - which by the way is one of the nicest on the island we found - and the central location of Agios Gordios makes it easy to get to other towns and resorts on the island by car or by scooter. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend this place!!

We spend our holiday at Aphrodite apartments and we are now sure that it was the best choice. The room was very clean, comfy and relaxing. The sea and panoramic view of the village is fascinating and will help you take away from it all. Aphrodite and Dimitris were always there to fulfill our requirements and guarantee the best holidays we’ve ever had. We recommend this place to anyone and way more to those who seek romantic and quiet places to spend their holidays with their families or partners

The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Aphrodite and Dimitris are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a beautiful place surrounded by olive trees and lemon. From the balcony you have a very beautiful view to the sea and mountains. The rooms are very clean, every room has equipment air conditioning and mosquito nets on windows shutters. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive to detail, you are waited with cold water in the fridge, tea, coffee. When we left we were surprised with a small gift. Agios Gordis is a better place to stay than Paleokastritsa or Sidari (at Paleokastritsa or Sidari worths to go just for the beautiful view - a day is more than enought) If you choose to stay here your holiday has already started well.

Very clean room, Bathroom, Service provided by Dimitris & Aphrodite (They washed our beach tabs twice), Surrounded by olive and lemon trees, View from the terrace, Parking, Wifi. We stayed 15 days all time we felt like at home.

Dimitris and Aphrodite are the best hosts one can get! The apartments are very nice, clean, simple, warm. Location is good too, secluded from traffic, especially from bikes that roam around the main streets of A. Gordios from dusk till dawn. Everything was perfect, excedeed our exceptations!

Outstanding value for money! Attractive studio w/ shaded balcony, very confortable firm bed, efficient quiet A/C and parking. Oversized shower w/ curtain - a rare find in Greece. Small kitchen w/large refrigerator, enough to prepare breakfast and light meals. Desirable location w/ sea view, walk to small village of Agios Gordios w/ its restaurants, markets and wide sandy beach. The owners, Dimitri and Aphrodite, will do everything to make your stay pleasant.

Privacy dividers between balconies would be an easy improvement. The satelite TV has a mind of its own and tends to freeze in the middle of programs.

I spent my holidays in a 2 room apartment together with some friends. It was very nice, the rooms were clean, the hosts were very polite and helpful. The location is very good, in the center of the resort. For sure we will visit Aphrodite Apartments again!

We stayed 12 days in Aphrodite Apartments and we enjoyed every moment of our stay here. We travelled around the island and we concluded that our choice to stay in this village was very good for several reasons. We will never forget the brekfasts and dinners from the terrace of our appartment and the kindness of our hosts, Aphfodite and Dimitris. I hope we can return to this place again. Kriszta & Zoli

Thank you Dimitris and Aphrodite for being the perfect hosts. The apartment was very clean and the location was just great; not too close to the mainstreet and the beach, which is a good option if you appreciate some peace and quiet once and awhile. The view from the porch/balcony is spectacular. Thank you once again!

There could be more kitchen equipment as knifes, spatulas, cutting board etc.

The apartments were great value for money. The location was excellent and very quiet, they are a few minutes walk from the top of the beach road, up a slight hill, but worth the walk for the view. The kitchen and bathroom areas were very modern, with shower gel and shampoo in every room (great, as we were travelling with hand luggage only). If you are driving into the village from Sinarades, the apartments are located on a track, the entrance to which is between Rolandos Car hire and Mikes bar. There is a pool/bar a 2 minute walk away with free sunbeds for customers.

What a wonderful little gem the Aphrodite apartments are. The owners Dimitiri and Aphrodite ( whom the apartments are named after) live on site during the summer months. Thet are exremely pleasant and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, you only have to ask. The apartments themselves are spotlessly clean with wonderful views from the balcony. it is not too far from the resort or beach,approx 10 minute walk. Situated on a hill.so may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties, but comes highly recommended from us, we are a mature couple and would definately stay at the Aphrodite apartments again. We got exactly what we wanted, a quiet chilled out holiday. The location and views were spectacular. 5 mins to supermarket 10 mins to beach. Recommend all restuarants on beach with views of the magnificent sunset. Owners on site very friendly and helpful with info if neeed. Will definitely return.

Ottima la pulizia e la gestione (i proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili). La posizione è comoda per la fermata dell'autobus vicina, per i minimarket e per affittare eventualmente auto/motorini (la spiaggia invece è a 5 minuti di distanza a piedi). C'è un parcheggio riservato agli ospiti. La cucina è attrezzata con tutto quanto è necessario. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è assolutamente favorevole.

Non mi piace molto la doccia con la tenda, ma francamente è un problema trascurabile.

Twee weken lang een super vakantie gehad mede door dit appartement. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en willen je overal bij helpen. Ze komen zelf vragen of ze misschien het een en ander voor je kunnen wassen. Appartement is schoon, netjes en had alles wat wij nodig hadden (hebben niet zelf gekookt). Wel een punt waar je misschien rekening mee moet houden is dat de bedden erg hard zijn, hier moest ik in het begin erg aan wennen. Daarnaast moet je wel tegen insecten kunnen, door de mooie tuin om het appartement heen zijn deze in grote getalen aanwezig (niet binnen). Het plaatjse is erg leuk, je voelt je er snel thuis. We hebben echt heerlijk gegeten bij zefrios,linda's, romantic place ( op dinsdag en vrijdag live muziek en dans) en de mexicaan naast the lemon tree ( the lemon tree is ook echt een aanrader). Verder is het een klein en knus plaatje waar je het gevoel hebt dat je na een paar dagen al iedereen kent. Wij hadden dan ook een quad gehuurd voor 6 dagen en hebben het hele eiland overgekrost, dit is ook echt een aanrader. Plaatjes als pelekas is erg leuk om eens te bezoeken en niet eens zo ver. Daarnaast is een bezoekje aan crufo stad echt de moeite waard! Persoonlijk zou ik ivm de warmte niet voor 3u gaan (dan zijn ook veel winkels dicht). Het kost 4,40 retour en is prima te doen.

la terrasse, balcon avec la vue sur la mer et le village, le service, l'accueil et la disponibilité. Proximité des magasins, restaurants très bons et la plage. L'accès à la piscine voisine et l'environnement ... Oliviers, citronniers. Chambre spacieuse, douche extérieure + terrasse commune. A seulement 20 min. en voiture de l’aéroport. Dans le village une agence propose différentes activités. Je conseille particulièrement cette destination. SUPER

Complesso molto bello nell'insieme, con stanza pulita, ampia e veduta sul golfo di Agios Gordios bellissima. Wifi ben funzionante nella stanza. L' accoglienza dei gestori molto piacevole... La strada che conduce al complesso degli appartamaneti un po' malandata...ma una volta entrati tutto è molto bello.

Il bagno si allaga quando si fa la doccia. Ambiente circostante.

περάσαμε τις διακοπές μας στα διαμερίσματα αφροδίτη και τώρα πια μπορούμε να πούμε με σιγουριά πως ήταν η καλύτερη επιλογή που θα μπορούσαμε να έχουμε κάνει. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο και πάρα πολύ άνετο και η θέα από το μπαλκόνι καταπληκτική. Είχε κουζινάκι, μεγάλο ψυγείο, κλιματισμό, άνετο κρεβάτι μέχρι ζάχαρη και καφέ, και όλα ήταν μέσα στην τιμή! Επίσης υπήρχε δωρεάν ιδιωτικός χώρος στάθμευσης δίπλα από τα διαμερίσματα. Οι ιδιοκτήτες η Αφροδίτη και ο Δημήτρης ήταν πολύ ευγενικοί, φιλόξενοι και πάντα πρόθυμοι να μας βοηθήσουν σε ότι χρειαζόμαστε. Τα Διαμερίσματα Αφροδίτη είναι το ιδανικό μέρος για οικογένειες με μικρά ή μεγάλα παιδιά αλλά και για ζευγάρια που αναζητούν ηρεμία και χαλάρωση σε ένα ήσυχο, ρομαντικό και ευχάριστο περιβάλλον.

Svært dårlig standard på kjøkken og bad. Toalettpapiret må kastes i søppelbøtte. Dette er svært vanlig i Hellas, men mindre vanlig at søpla blir tømt to ganger i løpet av 10 dager. Rene håndklær 2 ganger på 10 dager. Ingen rengjøring av gulv noe som førte til at mauren trivdes godt.- måtte selv vaske. Sengene var svært ukomfortable - harde madrasser. Terrassen kunne ikke brukes mellom kl. 13.00- 21.00. pga. sol. Vertskapet smilte og hilste, men utover dette viste de ingen uinteressert i hvordan kundene deres hadde det.
