The value for money ratio is great; no complaints whatsoever. Plus a very helpful staff made this a very pleasant stay. The Orange juice at breakfast. But that's really it. |

The front desk staff (Vreni, Effie) were extremely helpful and answered all our questions. They gave us excellent dinner recommendations and helped us navigate the subway maps on more than one occasion. The free breakfast buffet was more than I expected, and included some healthy, filling options. The room was very nice and we have a view (albeit a distant view) of the acropolis from our balcony. The shower in our room left some things to be desired. Like a proper hook for the shower head to rest on, as ours was not effective and caused the shower head to spray water all over the bathroom. |

Clean and affordable. The younger receptionist was friendly and to the point. The older lady was very loud, sometimes almost disturbing. The cleaning ladies make an awful noise very early on, It is impossible to sleep undisturbed after 8AM. In the evenings is it best to use a cab to reach the hotel, as it is nearby the market, with dodgy figures around. |

It was very easy to get to and from using the metro. Air conditioning worked a treat, thank goodness. Rooftop view of acropolis lovely, food and wine not so. The bathroom was very outdated. Water went all over the floor and you could hardly turn around in the shower. Room was basic but served its purpose, and for the price we paid one could not expect much more. We had no problem with staff but saw them be quite rude with others. The breakfast was pretty ordinary, sweaty ham and not so good taasting boiled eggs... but most fresh bun we had had in some time. |

Close to the metrorail stop, perfect location for tourists visting Athens. Very clean rooms, friendly staff Breakfast the same every day - if you stay there for two or three days, it's OK, but otherwise it might be annoying |

Frannie, the front desk manager was wonderful. She was always quick with a hello and inquiry about how the day had been or to wish a good day. The ladies working at the rooftop terrace were very nice and always offered good suggestions for what to have to eat. The hotel is very close to the metro station, it's only around the corner, and to restaurants. It's very easy to get anywhere from the metro line that this hotel is on without having to make a lot of transfers. The breakfast was very good - always tons of food with lots of options and plenty of seating. Our room was very nice with a balcony overlooking Metaxourghio Square and had a refrigerator, hairdryer, and television in the room. The beds were two single beds pushed together and they were on wheels with broken locks, so they moved around a lot and didn't stay put together. The paint on the ceiling in the room and in the bathroom was peeling. The toilet had a lot of mold and rust in the bowl, which was kind of stinky. The bed was the only thing that was a big deal and had we been staying there for any longer than one night, we would have asked to change rooms. But none of it was bad enough to put a damper on anything. |

Excellent staff, good location, close to Metro. Reasonable price and location. Noise on street side rooms. Not hotel's fault. Would still recommend. |

The desk staff was extremely helpful. The night of check in, we were given a map, informed how to use the metro, and informed of the Areas of Athens that weren't safe for tourist. The staff also gave us several option on how to get to the Airport. I was in room 406 which was old and needed renovation. It had a small shower that had mold around all of the edges . |

Proximity to metro for easy access to rest of city Hotel staff seemed poorly focused and unconcerned except when constructive criticism was offered when they became defensive. Watch out for phone calls, which we made emergently due to wallet being picked on subway: staff demanded cash payment (nowhere informed of this policy) of approx $50 for three short (less than 4 min.) calls to States. |

Excellent view from our balcony, we could view the Acropolis from our room. The hotel is in a nice area with 5 min walk to the metro. The lady receptionist at night had a lot of attitude. This was compensated by the lady in the morning. We were asked to pay 4 nights charges in advance which was a first and odd in our 3 weeks vacation in Europe. |

View of Acropolis and sunset from rooftop restaurant was excellent, close to Metro station. For the breakfast we had, during five days, the same ham, cheese, boiled egg. Triple room is too small. "Parking on the site" is a joke. Not recommended for more than two nights. |
