The hotel has a laid back feel, and the staff are very friendly and polite. It has good facilities: the art gallery is worth a visit; the spa is excellent and also very good value; nice tennis court etc. Everything in the hotel is clean and well maintained. The pool is great and Xi beach is only five minutes walk. Can highly recommend a trip to Vatsa beach which is less than ten minutes drive away - amazing little beach and based there is Spiagga taverna, which is a fantastic traditional greek restaurant literally right on the beach - barbequed fresh fish, giant prawns etc, vegetables grown by themselves, good value too and completely relaxed (as is all of Kefalonia) - full of locals - we were made to feel welcome. We didn't get a transfer from the airport - You can easilly get a taxi from the airport to Argostolli for 20 euros and then a ferry comes every hour to take you to Lixouri. After the short trip to Lixouri, its a short 10 euro taxi drive to the hotel. We were slighlty concerned this would be a stressful way to start the holiday but we were wrong. It was all very easy, stress free, much cheaper than taxi, and great way to start and to end to the holiday. Kefalonia is a gorgeous island and we will be back.

The food is good enough and you can always find something to eat, but it is not fantastic (depending on your standards obviously) - then again hotel food is never that good in my expereince. Quite a remote location if you are there for longer than a week and you like to explore - you might want to rent a car (there is a car rental place two minutes down the road). Also if you like to sit and drink all day on holiday you might be better going somewhere all inclusive as the drinks are quite expensive. 5 euros for a pint and 8 euros for a cocktail - which could really add up.

Super hotel, excellent facilities, clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Outdoor pool was super clean, there was lots of sun loungers in great spots so no rushing to save a spot. Bathroom has good shower pressure, beds were two singles stuck together which could be better but it was comfy, spacious and clean. The welcoming bowel of fruit was a nice touch. The food, breakfast and dinner was excellent. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and for buffet this is the best ive had and if there is something else you want or you prefer a fresh egg in the morning they are always obliging. Love the good range of Greek food as that's what I wanted but they also had chips etcmfor those people who were not adventurous. We always had second and third helpings every day and needless to say I returned home looking healthy. Oh my and the Greek yogurt and honey was gorgeous! Really lovely stay!

The only thing I can say they could improve on is there is no wifi in the rooms, it's not in the bar and reception area it to be honest it helps you relax and turn off whilst on. Holiday. It would have been good to have a proper double bed but the room was clean, comfy and decent for a week.

Very clean and well organized. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. We liked the food which was mostly italian cuisine. The cooking was very good.

The staff were amazing, they went out of their way to make sure that all guests were satisfied. Very friendly and very clean. Breakfast open till 10.

No access to the beach through hotel grounds. Only through main road. No wi-fi in entire hotel. Only wired access in room and wireless in lobby and bar with code. No kids club. There are however kids playrooms (one for young kids and another for older kids) as well as two outdoor play areas. Half board is for dinner only, you couldn't change to lunch, and dinner finished at 9:30.

Excelland, new hotel, the decoration of the hotel was the best, very clean, very good cusine especially for the dinner, the beach was near the hotel.

The whole experience was fabulous from start fo finish! The staff were very welcoming and the room was lovely. The food was very nice and of a high standard even though it was buffet style. The spa was a definite plus point and I would make time to pamper myself more next time! Was also interested to hear about the suites that are available and who knows, maybe next time we could push the boat out and try one of them!

Personale cortese, struttura bellissima e ottima cucina. Abbiamo soggiornato qui l'ultima settimana di settembre: la struttura non era pienissima e abbiamo goduto appieno sia della bellissima isola che di tutti i servizi dell'albergo, anche grazie ad un offerta trovata su booking.com che ha praticamente dimezzato il costo dell'hotel. Extra e supplementi (per bevande a cena o per il pranzo) assolutamente nella norma.

O serviço do hotel é excelente.Sem dúvidas o melhor hotel da ilha.

άνετο και καθαρό δωμάτιο, γενικά όλοι οι χώροι του ξενοδοχείου καθαροί και προσεγμένοι. η ζωντανή μουσική τα βράδια στο μπάρ του ξενοδοχείου. ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό το προσωπικό της ρεσεψιόν.

γάτες περιφέρονται στην τραπεζαρία που σερβίρεται το πρωινό και το δείπνο και έχοντας αποκτήσει οικοιότητα με το χώρο βρίσκονται συνεχώς ανάμεσα στα πόδια σου φθάνοντας στο σημείο να ανεβαίνουν ακόμα και πάνω σου ή σε καρέκλες. τέλος πολλά άτομα (ίσως τα περισσότερα) από το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου είναι αλλοδαποί που μερικοί από αυτους δεν μιλάνε καν ελληνικά, αυτό χτυπάει λίγο άσχημα την ώρα που υπάρχουν τόσοι έλληνες άνεργοι...

το ξενοδοχείο είναι άριστο με πολλές ανέσεις και υπέροχα γεύματα. αξίζει πραγματικά τα αστέρια του.

La puliziz degli ambienti, la gentilezza del personale.

Non è accettabile che un resort & spa abbia simili orari: chiudere una spa alle 18,00, significa prendere l'ultimo appuntamento alle 17,00. La gente ha il bisogno di poter star fuori tutto il giorno e poi rientrare e rilassarsi; con questi orari è una farsa. Lo stesso dicasi per la cena, ultimo orario le 21,00 (già tutto chiuso). Non c'è flessibilità e possibilità di godersi il tempo.

μας άρεσε ο χώρος ήταν καθαρός και πολύ προσεγμένος , το πρωινό ήταν πλήρως ικανοποιητικό οπως και το βραδυνό είχες την δυνατότητα να φάς αυτό που πραγματικά ήθελες ! η πισίνα ήταν καθαρή η μουσική στο μπάρ τα βράδυα ήταν μια όμορφη εμπειρία οπως και η υπηρεσία των spa ! h παραλία ήταν εξαιρετική !!

δεν μου άρεσε ότι η τοποθεσία ως προς το θέμα ότι το ληξούρι δεν έχει καθόλου κοσμική ζωή !!! αυτά όμως είναι γούστα !!!

Hotel di recente costruzione,moderno ,elegante.Camere spaziose,pulite,silenziose.Ottima cucina.Gentilezza dello staff. Non animazione,solo il piano-bar ed il cinema. Ottimo per chi desidera una vacanza all'insegna del relax.

L'hotel è ubicato nella zona forse meno suggestiva dell'isola;è sicuramente indispensabile l'auto. L'hotel non è frontemare,anche se dista dalla spiggia 5 minuti a piedi.

Posizione sufficientemente strategica con spiaggia vicina ma anche la possibilità di raggiungere altre destinazioni, tra le più belle dell'isola. Ottima accoglienza e professionalità dello staff. Struttura confortevole, cucina buona.

L'intrattenimento serale, in cui si alternavano un pianista ed un cantante (sempre gli stessi) piuttosto monotono e di scarso livello: la scaletta e i brani proposti erano sempre gli stessi, per 15 gg. !!!
