Archontiki Hotel  

Perfekt beläget, nära till allt! Busstorget bara några kvarter bort, gamla stan och saluhallen ännu närmre. Lätt att hitta och även om det låg precis mitt I stan så var det mycket tyst och lugnt på hotellet. Ville du ta ett bad och inte ta bussen så hittar du Nea Chora, Chanias "stadsstrand" en kort promenad västerut. Mycket sköna sängar, både tillräckligt långa och framförallt inte stenhårda.

Saknade en vattenkokare, en kopp kaffe/the känns alltid skönt att kunna fixa själv. Frukosten var inte någon höjdare.

Very kind, family atmosphere. Close to the most beautiful part of Chania.

It is city center, so if you look for sand and beach - you need a car to get out.

A bit of a walk from the old town.

Manoli the owner is fantastic. He upgraded us to a 2bdm apartment and cannot help enough. Room we had looked new, great furniture, good sized fridge, had shutters for 100% block out, great internet all through the place etc etc. Location also great with many amenities around and walking distance to old port

Shower was tiny with curtain hugging you. Parking was difficult at times as off main road

Its situation is fenomenal...good breakfast too...

They should have a pc with internet conexion for travellers like me, that hate go around with laptop....

We had booked a deluxe room and got one on the top floor with a spectacular view and a huge balcony. The room was very comfortable , the hotel is 5 min from the bus stop so very very easy to reach and also 5 min walk to get to the old city too. We had a lovely lovely stay :)

We liked the great view over the old city of Chania. Everything was at a close range.

Due to its location in the center of the town, there was a considerable amount of noise of traffic during all night. Also there are no private parking facilities and finding a parking place in the center of the town could prove tricky sometimes.

Ideally located, rather quiet, friendly staff, spacious room, clean, good mattrasses and pillows, wonderful breakfast buffet... .

The bathroom could have done with a larger and better shower.

The hotel is located two blocks from Chania old town and only few minutes walk from the old harbour. Very pleasant staff and a clean room. Good breakfast, best categorized as continental. We stayed in a family room. No luxury but you get at least what you can expect at that price (we paid 107 euro per night in the high season, including breakfast).

The hotel is definitely an ok place to stay. A slight disappointment was that the family room we got had a tiny veranda in the backyard which was too small to use and without any view at all.

Staff were friendly and accomodating. We arrived before check in time and room was ready. We were also invited to have breakfast even though not covered in first day stay which was great after overnight ferry trip. The location was very good, close to old town and bus depot. Our room was very spacious with large verandah overlooking Chania. Overall very comfortable stay and good value for money.

Helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfy room, excellent location- 5 min walk to bus station and to the harbour, good breakfast.

Small shower space and flooding- however this is the case with most hotels we have read about/been in Greek islands! The flooding is not a major issue because the room get serviced daily.

1) Very large and confortable room and bed also. 2) Friendly and lovely staff: they also prepare us a "take away" breakfast when we went out early in the morning. 3) Nice and private terrace. 4) Close to the bus station: perfect for 4 days stay without a car! 5)Room was soudproof:we have not heard the street noise and other rooms. 6) Tasty breakfast with greek yoghurt, jams and nice cakes.

1) It's impossible to have shower without inundate all the bathroom floor cause the shower curtain is short. 2) take with us shower gel and shampoo: there are only liquid soap. 3) we had a room at the 3th floor: internet wireless with our mobile phones not working.
