Hotel Amazon is in a great location in the heart of Athens, within walking distance of the major archaeological sites and Syntagma Metro Station.

In a great location, within a quarter mile of Plaka and Monastiraki Square, Athens Center Square hotel is a short walk from all the major archaeological sites.
Score from 1345 reviews Very good
Right next to Monastiraki Metro Station, A for Athens features a rooftop bar with a stunning view of the Acropolis. Nightlife districts of Psirri, Monastiraki and Plaka are a 5 minute walk away.
Score from 925 reviews Excellent
The Room is too small and the facilities, room service are very poor
Location for exploring the Colosseum and to the metro - approx. 6 minute walk to Victoria station. Great bar in the hotel, and quite reasonably priced. Not many places to eat around, but there are a couple of good kebab takeaways around Victoria station. The room was great and very clean.

Very nice people - helped a lot with prepayment needed for embassy! Clean nice and cute hotel Good location Good price/quality mix Would be great to organize breakfasts for marathon runners:)
WiFi quality wasn't so good
Very nice hotel. Would definitely recommend.Stayed in the top floor suite. Very large balcony. Very spacious bathroom.
Nice feel about the place, nice bar and friendly barman. Great room with balcony on the 5th floor
Would have liked a little more variety in the cooked part of the breakfast - it was always omelette squares and bacon
National Archaeological Museum is a few hudred meters away.
Looks a little sketchy from the outside but it's very modern but beautiful on the inside. We had the penthouse and it was totally worth it to have our own balcony and a huge beautiful bathroom. Very close to the museum, reasonable distance to the subway. Visit Alexandrias to eat!
Could hear the elevator at all hours. Didn't seem like the safest neighborhood. Breakfast wasn't great.
Very clean and organized hotel. It is 5 min walking to Victoria metro station, close to restaurants and coffee shops. Staff is really friendly and willing to help you whenever necessary. Recommend this hotel for sure.
Breakfast could be better... At least they could make sure that the boiled eggs are hot (and not cold as it was).
Good location relatively close to Metro and Hop on/off bus route. Helpful staff. Good room
No dining option but plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
By far the most clean hotel I have ever stayed in! Nice rooms, great breakfast and helpful staff made our stay very pleasant. We will definately visit again!
Wi-fi on 4th floor was a little slow, but connected so not really a problem.
Staff on reception were really knowledgeable about Athens and spoke good English. The breakfast was delicious. The location was great - two stops on the metro to Central Athens and the area felt safe.
It might be worth knowing that we booked a triple room and the third bed was a camp style bed.
Staff were all excellent Location in University area away from central tourist spots was perfect Room (we paid extra for the 7th floor studio) had everything we needed Breakfast Bar
Orange 'drink' and coffee at breakfast were disappointing - but absolutely not a reason to go elsewhere as the food was excellent
Nice hotel, good location near subway station (2two station to old city), and about 25-30 min to old city by foot. Good furnished, excellent lobby and breakfast aria. Good breakfast!
Wi-fi connection could be btter in a room. Political mass-meetings with loud-speakers on a weekends in a city-park acros the hotel locaion (but it's not hotel problem) and you can totally feel a local colour :)
The room was wonderful, very clean & just a pleasure to be in. Breakfast was good too
We struggled a little to find the place but we got there
location very close to metro, room with balcony, staff were very heplful, allow us to keep the room for late check out, different types of pillows soft and hard,
breakfast is not rich, no blanket at the room so just a little bit cold
Always clean friendly staff
Breakfast was ok
Very clean nice staff and great wifi. Breakfast limited choice but plenty quantity. Highly recommend.
Excellent staff, Frank at reception was extremely helpful spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble. the bar staff were also excellent.
As Australians breakfast was not too bad. Maybe an omelette or scrambled eggs could be added to the menu.
The staff were very helpful
Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, serviceminded staff
Refrigerator not working, sometimes bad logistics in breakfast room, bad bed lamps
Athens is truly the armpit of Greece. The only high point we had was the wonderful hotel Aeros. It was about a 6 block walk from the closest metro. There was a wonderful little market just a half a block away ..across from the church.... that sold liquor and a small assortment of sundries. A grocer about 4 blocks away. We could see Acropolis City from our balcony...worth the upgrade! Bathroom with the spa tub was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was really really good and plentiful. The staff at the front desk is great with suggestions for meals. We did take our gals suggestion to go to Rosalia's. ... it was about a 10 minute walk to the square... best food we had in Greece! Went back everyday. Recommend finding restaurant Rock and Balls... was a fun filled time with great food as well. If we make it back to Greece; we will make time to get to the Islands where the views and beautiful waters reside.... Athens is not any of that.. truly nothing but overcrowding, pan handlers, thieves and graffiti. Hotel Aeros a upscale retreat from it all. Acropolis City is a must see though...truly mesmerizing
A very good hotel, clean and confortable.Could have more stars. The staff was excelent and the breakfast superb. I recomend this hotel .And is just awalking distance from subway and the national archaeological museum. That is a must see.
away from the tourist neighbourhood but very doable by subway.
The Breakfast staff was very friendly and smiling, the front desk staff had many helpful suggestions as to where to eat at local restaurants and who to get to the many museums and ancient sites. There language skills were exceptional and they were always friendly and smiling...
We lost the wifi connection many times...
