Wonderful owners, so friendly and helpful. Very clean. Great value. Good location.

A small interesting family hotel. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. 5 mins walking to beach. It's good to enjoy a quite countryside night here.

I had the best time at the Aretousa Villas , the owners were more than accommodating . They welcomed me and they treated me very well , in fact like part of their family . The beach was very close and there were loads if restaurants and a bakery that had yummy pies . I cannot find any faults , I would recommend it . My stay was relaxing and I loved my room . The room was cleaned everyday and towels were changed everyday . Please check it out , I would definitely go back again .

We had a lovely stay at this homely B&B. Before we arrived, the owners we very flexible when we wanted to change the dates of out booking. When we arrived, the room was very sweet and full of character and included a stove and fridge for cooking at home when all that eating out gets a bit too much for you! We'd also heartily recommend the breakfasts, which were very cheap, homemade and excellent. The owner even took us to the port at the end of our stay as be happened to be going that way. We spent two weeks traveling Greece and this was by far the best place we stayed in.

The owners are terrific people; friendly and interested in making your stay as comfortable as possible. Great place for a stay at the beach and while not in the main tourist towns of Fira or Oia they are easily accessible by bus if you're not renting a vehicle.

The shuttle from the port, room size was good, quiet area and close proximity to excellent beaches. Family run business, responded well to any needs or enquiries, very friendly. Only half an hour away by bus (15 minutes by car/taxi) from Fira and another twenty minutes to Oia (larger towns). Cars and scooters were available for rent all over Santorini (very cheap). The weather was still good late October.

Unfortunately being late in the season (late October) many local businesses were shut or in the process of shutting down for Winter.

Perfect owners - very helpful and pleasent. Just ask them and you will get help or directions. Perfect location. The best Black Beach Perissa (blue flag) in Santorini island, supermarket and bakery are from 50 to 200 meters from Aretousa Villas. We spend there 14 amazing days and nights. Thank you very much

Great family run business who offer to help you as much as they can. Great location, only 150m from the beach in a very very nice part of Santorini. Easy access to beach, supermarket, bakery, restaurant, scooter/ car/ ATV hire great idea to see the island and the magnificent cliffs around Thira, the ancient ruins of Akatori and Ancient Thira and see some other beaches / wineries.

I stayed at Aretousa Villas for 2 nights at the beginning of September 2012. I was picked up by the friendly owner from the airport, who gave me some information about Santorini on the way to the accommodation. My room was at the very top of some stairs, which I prefer as it means no noise from rooms above you, though it would be an issue for someone with mobility problems. The room itself was small and basic, but kept very clean, with a fridge and TV and some plates and cutlery. It was a bit dark as there was only one window, though I was at the beach most of the day so it didn't really bother me. It was also quite quiet at night, with just a couple of dogs barking breaking the silence. The area itself was great. It only took me about 5 or 10 minutes to walk to the beach, and there were a few mini markets and a bakery nearby. There were also plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, though not too close to cause any disturbance. Overall, I was very happy with my stay at Aretousa Villas, and thought it was very good value for money.

The owner couldn't take me to the port, which meant I had to catch a couple of buses to get my ferry to Naxos, which was a bit inconvenient.

Peaceful location, clean room and nice pool. The owner family was very dedicated to make the guests feel at home. I liked the roof terrace, which was perfect for sun salutations at the dawn : ). Villa is modest, but there's everything one needs for a holiday: price vs quality is great!

I stayed at Aretousa Villas with a friend. We were met at the port and taken back to Aretousa Villas. The staff made us very welcome. As our room wasn't ready we were offered a drink and cake. Our room was spacious and had lovely views from the balcony. We would definitely stay there again if we were to return to Santorini.

Very nice villa. The owners are very friendly. It is close to the beach, market and bus station. It is everything you might need for a great vacation. And they give very tasty yogurt with homemade orange gem at breakfast :)

The bathroom was too small, and the shower was on the toilet, not separate cabin.

We liked this villa with near to the sea and a little pool. The continental breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The couple was nice to us but the they had no reception so we paid for the room in the street.

The service was nothing special. The breakfast could be better organised, with tee and coffe on a table where customer could take by themselves. We had to ask for a glass of juice or the yougurt. Didn´t get good information what was included. Maybe better have a list with the alternatives written, knowing what to order. I could have paid a little more for breakfast if it had been better and some fresh fruit or or as mentioned above.

The hotel is a family-run! People are great and very friendly. We were upgraded to a better room for no money and the host treated us with her own wine in the evening!Thanks a lot for a great stay!

Very nice welcome from the staff (they'll come to pick you at the ferry terminal). Nice apartment and quite spacious for a familly. Very quiet location (as on the edge of Perissa)

The terrace is a bit small for a 4 person apartment. Difficult to fit 4 people on it (2 is OK).

Aretousa Villas are a must see and stay!! The villas are ideal and well worth the money, location excellent to the beach and bus to Thira. The couple who own and live at the villas will do anything to make you feel more comfortable at their place. I was sick and my case broke and they couldn't have helped any more! Very cost effective, safe location for two female travellers. I will be back!!

This is the second time we stay at this lovely family runned hotel. The location in Perissa is superb near to everything- beach,minimarket, busstation,restaurants and bakery. The rooms are clean and most of them have nice ad quit big balconys the pool are small but clean. The family are service minded and helpful and they offer free transfer from and to the port and airport we will come back again

Highly Recommended!!! I Booked to stay here on reading the feedback posted about Aretousa Villas and I was far from disappointed. So im going to say the things said on all the other reviews,as I dont need to, but the names to one of the most hard working families ive known. George, Areti (dad and mum) Jacob and Desponia (brother and sister) the ultimate hosts, always there to help to chat with day or night. Nights the best you get to sample the Red Wine!! And Areti's home cooking. If your looking to stay some where to stay with family charm, and the best resort in Santorini then Aretousa villa, Perissa is the place I recommend. Once again to the family, thank you all for such a fantastic and welcome stay.

Leaving!

We stayed 2 weeks in a double room, with air condition, tv, fridge and full kitchen utensils. Very clean with excellent room service every day. Very nice and clean pool, free Wi-fi and very quiet location next to a supermarket, bakery and near the beach. The family that runs it are always around and extremely friendly and helpful with everything. They even transferred us free to and from the airport in the middle of the night, and to top it all they let us sleep the first night free when we came at around 06:00 in the morning!!!! Thanks to Giorgos and his family for their contribution to a fantastic 2 weeks holiday in Santorini!!

The shower was kinda small in our room, but that was absolutely nothing that could ruin the pleasant experience we have had!

Super location in Perissa. Walk less than 5 min to tha Beach and everything in the little Town. The family is very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast with home made dishes together with continental breakfast. The pool, house and Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Wifi in Room and by the small but Nice poolside. If We go back to Perissa We will stay There again. They pick you up at ferry or airport without any cost.

Nice staff, quiet place and low price. Haha, I got a free upgrade from single room to double room. The hotel provides free transfering from airport and port which I am fond of.

Everything is perfect except the wifi signal. I lived on the second floor and I have to go balcony to access to the Internet.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. The location is a short walk from Perissa Beach and close to an amazing bakery. The pool was great. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend Aretousa Villas.

It was really nice to stay in Aretousa Villas. The family was so kind with us. Moreover, its location is near the Perissa beach, the centre of the city with the restaurant (about 2 minutes walk away) and the bus stop. I recommend this hotel, it is excellent !

There is not lots of kitchenware... just enough for two persons

A fantastic host family who made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. As soon as we arrived we were offered an upgrade more than once but we didn't need it because our room was comfortable and well maintained. We really appreciated the free shuttle to and from the port. Our hosts were also extremely helpful in assisting us with retrieve a passport that was left behind in Athens. We would certainly stay again.

Aretousa Villa is run by a great family, they are warm, friendly and caring towards your needs. The only thing you have to do is ask. The nice thing about it is that it's small, cozy and really made me feel welcomed and at home. Location is great too, minutes walk from the beach and great restaurants and 24Hrs Bakery. Furthermore, it is very budget- friendly. Will definitely be my choice again.
