Athens Mirabello offers an excellent location in Athens, just a 5-minute walk from the metro (subway). Buffet breakfast is included in the rate.
Score from 186 reviews Very good
very good location and breakfast too.
One reception person excellent Good breakfast Central location
Built for Athens Olympics & now looking jaded and in need of a refresh , especially with bathroom.
Located in a lively place with a market within easy reach, cafes with excellent local cuisine, with a Christian church opposite and narrow streets all around. The breakfast quality is excellent, light and nourishing, to anyone's taste, including the Greek salad/Greek yoghurt, hot and cold dishes. An excellent view of the Acropolis from its roof. Wi-fi is reliable, it never breaks down and maintains high speed. Very delicate maids, cheerful and really friendly.
The shower switch needed fixing. No drawers for belongings, though enough space for everything and the interior material is of decent/high quality
The location is very good, all main attractions are nearby and in walking distance. Nice view to the Acropolis from our room. There are a lot of bars and restaurants just next door as well as some shoppings. The breakfast was decent for the price.
The rooms could be cleaner and the beds were very small. The extra blankets in the cupboard seemed not to be washed.
interior style and convinient location
I was initially placed in totally different room than I have booked and prepaid (the special offer was for Executive Suite while they gave us very small room with no window next to elevator case)
Fantastic location for tourism! Acropolis view was great. Extremely helpful and cheerful front desk and housekeeping staff. Use of the laundry room for ironing. Very good hot and cold breakfast for the price. Good shower pressure, comfy pillows, quiet a/c, large balcony with table & chairs. Will definitely choose this hotel next time.
Bath tub with partial glass partition, so bathroom gets wet. No variation in the breakfast at all... even the choice of fruit and cake was exactly the same everyday. But I would still choose to stay here next time!
The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good for a 3 star hotel.
The hotel was centrally located but the neighborhood wasn't the safest. Hotel is really close to city center, Monastiraki, Plaka, the old Athens center and a metro station. If you use a taxi to the hotel it is ok but if you decide to go on foot you need to be very careful during the night.
The Arion is just a couple blocks from the Monistraki train station, and super easy to get to from the airport. There is a lot of graffiti throughout Athens, and the area where the Arion is located is no different. As 2 single women travelling together, we never felt intimidated or threatened during our stay at this hotel. The breakfast spread was generous - plenty of selections. We had an early cab the morning of our departure, and the hotel set our a small selection of breakfast items early for us - super nice touch that was greatly appreciated!
The bathroom had a frosted glass door that didn't really close all the way (and certainly wasn't soundproof). Not sure that I'd want to stay in a hotel with that particular design again, it was just odd to me.
The location is great for the acropolis, shopping and city centre wandering. Was clean and bathroom was up to date. The roof top terrace has great views of acropolis.
The location near to the Acropolis and tourist sites was excellent. Great restaurants and bars are within a 2 minutue walk. Hotel is very clean and well-presented.
The breakfast was very poor compared with other hotels we have experienced in Greece. In some ways it felt over-priced but then the cost seems to be for the proximity to the Acropolis more than anything.
The staff were always polite and helpful.
1 - The food was O K, but not great. 2 - When I first arrived, I noticed that the Dormer window in my room would not operate from the bottom hinge. I reported it immediately. The man at the desk wrote it down. Nothing else happened. The problem was not fixed or explained.
Close to the Acropolis
Overpriced for the value. Rooms have no AC and I woke up with bedbug bites for two days. Do not stay here, there are better options.
Location Staff friendly and helpful
No kettle and tea in room - standard in Australian rooms of like rating No ironing or clothes washing facilities Shower leaked water on to bathroom floor, poor shower door
Location to all fine sidewalk restaurants to the Acropolis and significant city attractions and squares was excellent. And quiet really too where located.
Amazing view of the Acropolis from our balcony.
Close to the city center
Although we were in a non smoking room the pillows smelled like they had come from a smoking room and did not smell pleasant. Room was extremely hot upon entry.
I really liked the hotel location .. Close to all attraction and city center .. Rooms are a bit tight but not too much to bother .. The stuff is helpful With a smile .. Close to metro station like 4 mins walk !
Just that the room wasn't with a double bed but nothing really major ..
It is clean, quiet and in a great spot of the City! The top floor terrace has stunning views that can be better taken advantage of. Great breeakfast too.
We suggested to change room so we can have a room with a view. They changed us to a room double the size to the previous one and the price was still the same which was perplexing. They need to charge differently we felt for different size rooms.
great location, nice roof terrace with a fantastic view to Acropolis and Parthenon
a little problem with finding the hotel, because of many narrow streets
Not clean at all! It was also old and many things were banged up. Bathroom was dirty! We stayed one month in Greece and stayed in many hotels...all were great except this one. This one was also the most expensive...not worth its money!!
Locality Handy to local restaurants and markets
Didn't get the room we booked, Neighbour hood was very run down
Impressive view of acropolis from the balcony (not all rooms have balcony) In the very center of Athens. Nice breakfast.
There is no parking on the hotel and you should.
hotel is close to monastiraki station. İt s in a quiet ,uncrowded street. the breakfast was good enough. room is big enough. we had a terraced room that has a view of acropolis. there are two elevators. the air conditioner was perfect. the receptionist was helpful and cheerful.
the cleaning lady didnt change the bed sheet and covers for 2 nights .
The very friendly helpful staff and the good breakfast
There was nothing we didn't like
