La vista dell'Acropoli dal terrazzo al settimo piano

L'ho scelto per l'alto punteggio degli altri viaggiatori di Booking, ma sono rimasta negativamente sorpresa dell'insieme di questo albergo. Ho prenotato con molta antecedenza e abbiamo chiamato due giorni prima per confermare la nostra stanza con balcone vista Acropoli, ma arrivando con mio figlio ci hanno dato una camera al terzo piano con vista sulla terribile strada dove è ubicato questo albergo. Ho provato a contestare ma mi hanno dato un'altra stanza al settimo piano sempre con vista sulla strada..Dopo essermi rassegnata arriva la donna delle pulizie che mi dice di alzarmi dal letto perchè doveva finire di sistemare la stanza !(alle 14:00) Internet, colazione stupenda e pulizie delle camere, anche queste erano un mito greco. Da dimenticare !!!!

é la terza volta che soggiorno all'Arion e sono sempre soddisfatta. Ho dato il consiglio ad amici e sicuramente torneròno

Siamo stati poco per poter giudicare tutti i confort che proponeva l'hotel, ma abbiamo apprezzato la vicinanza all'acropoli, al mercato delle pulci e alla fermata della metro che collegava direttamente l'aeroporto. La disponibilità dello staff, nel momento in cui ci è sorto un imprevisto, lo hanno risolto brillantemente.

IL prezzo della camera è un po' eccessivo.

Nice hotel, clean everyday, easy access to metro and other traffic ways. The staff are always very helpful and friendly to offer advise on travelling as a new comer to the city. A nice choice with reasonable price.

Our first room turned out to be really small and dark, overlooking some ugly 20 sq.m. internal space (yaerd). Second room we were moved to, was better overlooking the street and partinally the Acropol, but also we had to listen early in the morning the church bells every half an hour and the whole 2hour Sunday preach. Breakfast was offering no kind of vegetables, and barely some not fresh fruits. Location is close and convinient to city center, but the neighbourhood looked dingy and a bit unsafe in the evening. Staff was polite and helpful.

Impressed by the hotel for the price we paid: the hotel was clean, renovated, quiet (middle of towncenter), comfortable room, friendly staff and a very good breakfast (choice of bread fresh or toast, cheese, eggs etc. cereals, fresh fruits and juice, good coffee!! Location: beautiful view from the room: Acropolis. First impression of the street the hotel is located was a bit scary: we arrived late in the evening in wintertime: the shops etc around seemed abandoned, with all the graffiti and locked windows. At daytime a different sight. We surely should go back to this hotel!

The staff was outstanding in accommodating runners in town for the Marathon. They opened breakfast hours early and allowed us to check out late. I can't express enough our appreciation for this. Thank you!

Friends of ours recommended the Arion to me and I am glad I went with it. It is a very clean and modern looking hotel (inside) in a very dingy looking area. Others have noted that the area isn't very nice but my husband and I didn't have a problem with it - fantastic taverna and cafe down the street. We never felt like we were unsafe at any point.Handy to Monastiraki train station and shopping. We were fortunate to be given a room on the 6th floor with a balcony looking at the Acropolis - fantastic! We got this room both times we were at the hotel (we stayed at the beginning and end of our trip to Greece). Front desk staff were outstanding. The only issue some may have is the air conditioning in summer - it is a little underpowered. We were there in September when the weather wasn't so hot (!) and the room was still very warm. Thankfully the airconditioning stays on even when the door key isn't in the 'power box' when you leave the room so eventually the room cools down. All I can say is get over the look of the area the hotel is in and enjoy!

The hotel is approximately 7 minutes walking from the Monestraki metro station so we didn't have troubles pulling our light luggage to it. The room is very clean and modern style especially the glassed walls bathroom. Staff are ok.

The road leading to it is a bet tight with plenty of parked cars and bikes so while pulling our luggage we had to stop and wait for passing cars which is not comforting especially if you have kids. Also the down streets going left doesn't feel any safety at night. The room smelled smoking when I switched the ac on.
