Aristea Hotel

The location was first class ,and the waterfront balcony rooms were overlooking the many excellent restaurants and boating activities. The views were superb.

No internet facilities at the hotel at all. Close by cafe's had free WiFi. We have stayed in 73 hotels on Europe over the last 5 months and only two hotels have had no internet facilities. 3 others charged excessively for internet connections, and the remaining 68 provided free WiFi. The breakfasts at Aristea were very basic.Only corn flakes for cereal, no canned or fresh fruit, no toaster,only imitation orange cordial for juice,and urn coffee (and tasted like it too). For 40 euro per night though I guess the breakfast was adequate. (We supplied our own tomatoes)

The room was not so big, but there was the most beautiful view of Elounda bay just from room entrance. home atmosphere and very friendly ladies at reception. Hotel was very good for us for 1 night.

το πρωινό ήταν ανεπαρκείς, πετσέτες παλιές και το δωμάτιο χωρίς σαπούνι.

Situation idéale en plein centre le long de la mer. Vue sur mer magnifique.

Accueil un peu vieillot et pas trés souriant. Petit dej moyen.

Une chambre sans grande originalité, neutre, mais un balcon donnant sur le port et la mer, une vue magnifique sur l'île de Spinalonga...

Sa situation en pleine ville est un peu génante surtout pour trouver une place de parking, le petit déjeuner pris en salle, assez terne.

1.завтрак-практически нет (хлеб,колбаса,сыр,мюсли,кофе,сок ) 2.окна выходят на улицу (шумно) 3.возле отеля нет пляжа (до городского пляжа идти 10-15 минут) 4.душ за шторкой возле раковины 5.мебель вся старая 6.нет электрического чайника 7.в номере только одна электрическая розетка

πετσετες κιτρινογαργιασμενες,πιεση στο ντους ανυπαρκτη,σκουριασμενες βρυσες,ακαθαρσιες στην λεκανη.δωματιο αντικαπνιστων και η μυρωδια του τσιγαρου ποτισμενη στο δωματιο.ξενοδοχειο παμπαλαιο,πρωινο μηδαμινο. αγοράστηκε χλωρίνη για τον καθαρισμό του μπάνιου.

As soon as we walked in, we were very warmly welcomed by Maria, the lady of the house, who made a point of ensuring we had everything we needed - indeed, she went out of her way to make our long weekend a special and memorable one. Breakfast, included in the price of the room, was a feast. Every morning Maria brought a tray laden with goodies - boiled eggs, fresh bread & rusks, butter and jam, tomatoes, cucumber, fruit and a large pot of coffee - and served it to us on our balcony overlooking Elounda Bay. On our last morning as a farewell gesture, delicious homemade spinach pies and halvas were added to the spread. We loved the location right on the water. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the season had barely begun and there weren't many tourists about. We enjoyed several visits to the nearby Cafe Del Mar, expertly run by Maria's daughter, Poppy, and her husband Harry, who welcomed us as if we were part of the family and made us feel very at home. The same cordial hospitality was extended to us by another branch of the same family at the Captain Nicolas taverna in Plaka where we had a magnificent fishy lunch after visiting Spinalonga. Giorgos and Angeliki run this bustling waterside eaterie on the harbour and overlooking the island.

There was nothing we didn't like!

τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο.

το ξενοδοχείο χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση. δε μου άρεσε καθόλου το δωμάτιο. το μπάνιο δεν ήταν αρκετά καθαρό.η τιμή του δωματίου έπρεπε να ηταν χαμηλότερη, δεν άξιζε αυτό που πληρώσαμε.

Easy access to hotel

I was given the roadside bedroom on arrival having asked for seaview. So first night noisy. I was moved to a sea view room on 2nd night. However, there wa still a lot of noise with scooters and motor bikes going up and down from 2am-5am. The breakfast was awful. So did not have any breakfast from 2nd day onwards. On departure, I was told that they do not take credit cards and that I had to pay cash.
