Location... very handily located within walking distance of museums, etc. Breakfast was nice, plenty of fresh food.
Breakfast area too crowded... looks like they've tried to fit too many tables into a small area. The rooms have seen better days... they are looking tired and need some TLC. Front desk staff seem disinterested at times.
Price and lokation. Rooms was clean. But all was small. Rooms small. Bathroom small. Restaurant small. But price was small too ;)
My telephone had problem with internet - works only on first floor. Very noisy people. We couldn't sleep 2 nights. One night some lokal people talk laud on corridor. Second night some people from China walk from room to room and slaming doors. Horror. There should be something as quite hours cose doors, and walls are very tiny and you can hear everything around.
We got the room in the top floor, there was a stair to climb after 6 floors with the elevator, the internet badly worked from up there. After the breakfast, they cut our light in the room so we rush leaving the hotel, it was 9am.
very crowded room impatient staff no effective window in the room very noisy at night poor WiFi signal unpleasant area
Very rough area; traffic noise; dirty room and bathroom; even for a cheap hotel it was dire; lots of guests complaining
Hotel is nothing like represented on website. Rooms are nothing like on pictures, food was disgrace, and wifi is not working in all rooms nor floors!
Good quality budget hotel with friendly staff and excellent breakfast included in the price
hotel window faced a brick wall and whilst their website advertises that they have a restaurant serving good quality traditional Greek food all day - they don't! It would be wonderful if they did as this is not a particulary good area for a single lady to go wandering in search of food. Thankfully their is a good quality souvlaki place right next door to the hotel
Bathroom had an awkward smell Not sure if room was cleaned everyday.
It was in a way a central place in Athens
Really bad area to stay- police was all over the place
Wifi availability in the room (AP per floor), good signal. Clean room, comfortable bed. Good A/C. Decent TV and a small fridge Breakfast included in the low price
Elevator is too smal for more than one person. The area, albeit close to Athen's center, is not very well maintained. My room overlooked to the back of the hotel and the view was quite poor.
Hotel employees are very nice, services are very flexible
Omonia is a very dirty district of the city
Reception lady very nice, clean place, good location near athens center
Matress too hard, kichten stuff rude, you can hear other guests in your room
The price was good
Everything was great!
We got there in the very early morning from a night bus, Thankfully they allowed us to check in right away. The breakfast was quite nice. The receptionists were very kind whenever i asked something. I was really satisfied to stay at the hotel. Actually we could meet a lot of good Greek people in Athens, and i can say, some of them were in the hotel.
Simple hotel in an okay spot
Comfortable beds, friendly staff, good location and very clean
Cheap, good location, 24/7 front desk.
Clean rooms and linens Pleasant staff Air con in good repair Balconies on rooms Doesn't require you to leave the key when you go out
Key slot for electricity was coming away from the wall Shower tap partially broken, sink plug missing, evac fan non-functioning Omonia is not the best neighbourhood, although not terrible
-walking distance from some points of interest -complimentary breakfast -good A/C -bang for buck
-small room -minor electrical problems
Hotel has nothing major to offer but it has clean rooms, helpful and polite staff and central location. Perfect for those travelling on a low budget or for a short stay in Athens
Close (500 m) to Omonia metro. Very friendly staff. Clean.
Breakfast was really basic and not using local products. The network is a bit slow.
The Aristoteles hotel is a budget accommodation, with a really high value for your money. There are no frills, but all the necessities are there, the service is good and it is 5 mins to the nearest metro. I would recommended it to budget travelers.
The area surrounding the hotel is run down, and there are some prostitutes and junkies about. None of which bothered us though, not during the day or at night. But if you are not accustomed to these types of area's in large cities you should be care full.
I'm a avid business and leisure traveller in Europe and Asia, also a tech geeky and have high standards to evaluating facilities. I like the hotel with hot water, good receptionist, recently renovated budget basic rooms and 2 elevator. Good for budget travelers, search for alternatives near public transportation (not including taxi). All taxi drivers know how to get there from Syntagma Square (after shuttle bus from airport).
WIFI is slow. Toilet clogs. TV broken (placed on top of cupboard 6feet high), rattling noisy Airconditioning (depending on rooms) at wee hours when it works harder, no sound proof, poor location from public transportation 15-20mins away, 5mins if you run, drug mafia streets, don't hang out around that area at night. There are better hotels at the same price.
Very good price Clean Not far from the city center.
Dont expect great wiew or some luxury at this price
